The fairy wasn't happy. The demon meeting had ended leaving her pretty muffled at one of the participants in particular. Some kitsune looking boil. Astra hadn't gotten his name (and if she had she was determined to forget it just to spite him). Though what had angered her more was how he had said her idea was stupid. Okay well, it wasn't her idea that they should have roses as the demon dorm symbol, but she had grown attached to the idea as soon as she had heard it. But that wasn't the point! He had been a up-stuck snobbish jerk, and that automatically meant she didn't like him. She was in her third year, that meant she should be shown respect, especially from a snot! Still fuming, Astra stomped down the hallway and wondered what sort of schemes she could come up with to get back at him.

The meeting had been boring but somehow they had managed to work things out. (When did Danny Become and RA? This spelled Trouble… Then again it might be useful. He was stuck with her anyway.) Still, being in in a room with some many other demons set his nerves on edge. Somehow the whole thing had turned into a bicker fest, though he had heard that sometimes meetings turned out the same way. Everyone always wanted their piece of the pie, though why it was the rose that was the center point he didn’t know. His attention was fading elsewhere, thinking about other things… he was lost in his own thoughts, his mind going back to not school related things. A certain ghoul who was constantly on his mind might have started to distract him. And in his inattention he was looking for those larger than himself but he never thought to look down. Besides he was just walking the short route back to his dorm… his feet were in auto pilot and they just keep moving taking no heed to the smaller ghoul in front of him until it was too late. When his foot stopped the rest of him kept going resulting in a crash that might have taken both involved to the floor. The only thought on his mind was keep his tail away from whoever it was. (Unless it was Molan at which point he would receive the tail for being in his way.)

So far Astra had come up with things that only involved bugs. She loved bugs, and since not many others shared this love she was able to capitalize on it grately. But she didn't want to resort to just 'worms in the soup' all the time. No...maybe paper spit balls from afar? Or even fairy dive bombs! As she walked down the hallway visualizing her great aerobatic maneuvers, she was suddenly reminded why she rarely walked in the hallways, as someone's leg was suddenly in her face, and with a startled cry she was forced back into the ground, being pinned under the larger boil. The fairy then performed her usual escape maneuvers. Which consisted of flailing her arms and legs about in hopes the other person was gonna get the hint. This quickly fell into terrified screams as she saw a flaming tail dangerously near her, flashbacks of dragons fire dancing in the back of her mind.

A sorry was mumbled out. One of the few times he actually bothered to apologize, but in this case, it was his fault. The flailing, was expected as he quickly tried to back off, but then the ghoul started screaming. A small part of him was secretly pleased that he was scary enough to bring someone to hysterics just by his mere presence. The other nine tenths knew immediately that it was because of the fire. “You are fine Jack Damn it. I’m not going to burn you.” The curses pour out of his mouth before he could even think about the words. He was really sick of people flipping out all the time. “Unless you really want me to. I will if you want.” He sat up, still and the ground but now officially of the formerly pinned ghoul. It wasn’t his fault she walked in his way.

She couldn't help screaming if the threat of her imminent demise was only a few inches away from her face, and the fact he seemed angry about it didn't make her feel any better. "Yes you are the fires gonna get me I don't wanna be burned up someone save meeee" she wailed until she felt the weight lift off her, and she sat up to rub her eyes of the moisture that threatened to spill over. She really didn't want to look like a crybaby at the moment. Irritably she sat cross legged, glaring at the boil and eying his tail. "No I don't want to be burned!" She folded her arms and pouted his way, mumbling something about everyone being mean to her under her breath.

“I didn’t think so. Jack it’s just a little fire.” he shoved his hair back scowling at her. “Seriously… Sometimes I wonder if just setting the school on fire would even get me a different reaction.” He was so tired of creeple panicking over it. Nevermind that he had bumped into her. Was she crying? Ewe she was leaking water everywhere. He scooted back a bit.

"Then why did you ask me?" She huffed, not missing his attempt to put distance between them. What, did she smell or something? "And it's not just 'a little' fire, do these look fire proof to you?" She flared her wings out to show him. "It only takes a 'little fire' and then POOF!" She spread her hands out wide to exaggerate the effect. "They're gone". Usually with the rest of her body. "The school would put you on detention for a million years if you set it on fire" she then replied.

“Yeah yeah, pretty much everything here is fuel. I get it.” He was half tempted to test her theory. Just to see if they would just go poof if he accidentally touched her. It might be really fun to watch. It might even be worth a few detentions. “They might, if they caught me, but I wasn’t actually thinking of doing that. I’m here as a student, not an arsonist, despite the common belief to the contrary.” He shuffled to his feet brushing down his cloths. His tail moved automatically out of sight using the wall of his body to drop out of vision. Maybe she would be happier when she couldn’t see it. It didn’t make the smell of smoke any less there though.

As much as he claimed he understood, Astra had her doubts, and as he got to his feet she floated into the air herself, wings humming away to allow her to hover. And move out of the way if need be. She felt more comfortable now in the air, knowing she could dodge any fireballs that could come her way. She wanted to then point out it wouldn't be hard to figure out who could have set the school on fire, but she thought better of it. "So." She decided to change the subject instead. "What were you doing walking down the hallway?" And running into defenseless flammable faeries.

The hovering drew his attention but he decided to not mention it. If she wanted to waste energy flying, fine. Though she could have started sooner, it would have avoided this whole incident. “Going back to my dorm from the meeting. It was mandatory.” He tried to go back to making his escape. The ghoul was annoying him, was she trying to make polite conversation? “I spent far too long in the same room as that damn ice demon anyway." he had not forgotten the mop incident.

Ice demon? Astra had to wonder about that. This pain in the butt boil suddenly became rather interesting, if it was the same ice demon she was thinking of. "You mean a boil who has fox ears, and two tiny horns on his head?" She asked eagerly. "white hair. Really snobbish attitude?"

"That would describe Molan." he compulsively smiled at the idea of Molan be described as having a snobbish attitude. "Why?" he stopped walking, looking at the fairy.

"So THATS who that jerk was!" She exclaimed, her arms waving about comically as she described the ice demon. "I saw him today, and I could barely stand him as well. He acted all high and mighty and insulted me, and he thought the roses idea was stupid!" Part of her reasoned that there was a chance this boil did not approve of roses either, but she pushed that aside as she continued to rant. "He said they were fragile and we'd be making a mockery our ourselves if we used them, and a whole bunch of other stuff too. I don't like him." She huffed.

"Well rose do burn easily...." he couldn't not say it. She apparently was one of the ones on the rose side of things. It wasn't that he hated plants. It was just that they were so flammable. Not a good choice for a representation of demons at all. But considering her wings a rose might suit her. "But he's pretty much a jerk all the time. I was busy avoiding him today, so I didn't heard exactly what he said, but he was probably being his usual self."

Astra didn't look too pleased at being reminded at how easily one could set plants on fire, but since he was a fire demon, it did make sense he'd want something else. Though she soon forgot about the roses as Andrew went on to talk about Molan. It sounded like he might be some sort of friend...enemy...frenemy. "So you know him well?" She said with wide eyes. "Is he mean to you as well?"
