As opposed to most of the other mornings she nice she had arrived in Amityville, Sulmanon was not in the air exploring. Instead, she was sitting under a tree reading a book she had borrowed and enjoying the morning. Curled up next to her was a content dragon mini that was sleeping with his head in her lap. Without looking away from the book that told about most of the monster species in Amityville, Sulmanon was lazily scratching behind his eye ridge. Not focusing on her book for a moment, she wished that she could meet more of the beings she had read about, a wish that could be fulfilled now that she was here, but that would take time and no one else seemed to be outside yet. At least no one that she saw at the moment. Sighing a little bit, she settled back to reading the section about harpies, all but oblivious to anything around her. Yayoi Sorry it took so long to post this, I was not able to come up with a setting or a subject before falling asleep... sweatdrop Also, feel free to have Meixiang trip over Sulmanon. xd

The sound of little things scurrying across the grass could be faintly heard. Unless one was listening closely you probably wouldn't even hear them as a pair of venus flycats stalked about. Eyes glowing with mischief as their attention was drawn to the sleeping dragon close to the ghoul. They looked at each other with a knowing glance before both bolted towards Sulmanon, stopping a foot short of her. Long tails snapping back and forth as they screeched. Hopping side to side, switching spots, rolling on their backs and kicking their feet in the air before they hopped to their feet once more. Ears perked straight up and forward as they waited.

Somehow managing to catch sight of movement in the grass in front of her over the top of the book, Sulmanon lowered her book just in time to see two cats start charging at her. Startled, she half jumped up, waking the sleeping mini dragon. She was about to move to defend herself from what seemed to be an attack, when both cats stopped short of her and seemed to be deliberately trying to catch her attention. After they hopped about in front of her for a bit, Sulmanon thought that she may have figured out what they wanted, so she stretched out one hand towards each of them to attempt to pet them. Meanwhile, a groggy and grumpy dragon just glared at the newcomers. He had been having a nice nap before they had so rudely caused the event which had woken him up. Normally, he would not have been so grumpy, rather, he would have been more curious about them, like his master, but he had been having a good dream and had been woken up at the best part, so he was a little less than pleased. Yayoi Ambrosius + good dream + sudden waking at the best part = 1 cranky dragon mini. XD

At the outreached hands, both Flycats rubbed the length of their bodies against her fingers. Screeching and purring. Their little mouth tails flicking back and forth. But that wasn't enough for the darker colored one as he quickly pounced on Ambrosius with a happy screech, licking his head a couple of times. "Minsks! Ookie! Stop bothering that ghoul and her mini!" At the sound of the voice both Flycats' heads lifted, ears perked before they both screeched again and took off towards the short ghoul it had come from. Kneeling down, she scooped both Flycats up, letting them settle down onto her shoulders. She smiled at Sulmanon as she approached. "I'm sorry about them. They are little stink butts who get into mischief all the time. I hope they didn't cause too much trouble or scare you."Ariaalina Hehe, Minsks and Ookie are trouble makers. XD

Happy that she had correctly managed to interpret what the minis wanted, Sulmanon happily petted them for a while, until one of them leaped at Ambrosius. When it did, she was about to warn it off, knowing how grumpy he was when he was suddenly woken up, when a ghoul called both minis back to her, and right in time too. The dragon mini's jaws snapped shut right in the spot the cat had just vacated. Turning towards the ghoul, Sulmanon stood up, brushing herself off. "They didn't scare me, they just startled me a bit and they woke Ambrosius, who tends to be a little grumpy when he's startled awake." she replied chuckling a little and bending down to pat her mini on the head in an attempt to ease his grumpiness. He accepted the gesture, but his look directed at the cat minis was easy to understand. Sighing at how much her mini was glaring, she extended her hand. "My name's Sulmanon and this is Ambrosius, it's nice to meet you."

Taking the other ghoul's hand with a grin, Meixiang gave her a warm, wide smile. "Nice to meet you Sulmanon. I'm Meixiang and these two sillies are Minsks and Ookie." Looking down at Ambrosius she smiled to him too with a little laugh at Sulmanon's mention of his grumpiness. "Yeaaaa, I have some other minis in my dorm that are pretty grumpy too. My gaggle of Flycats like to pester them too. Its probably why they like him so much." The two Flycats screeched and flicked their little snapper tails back and forth. Eyes still staring at Ambrosius mischeviously. Folding her hands into her large, billowing sleeves, the Jian Shi tilted her head slightly to the left. Giving the new ghoul a good look over. "Are you one of the new year ones? I haven't seen you around the school before and there has been a fairly large influx of new students lately."
