■ This mansion is the ancestral home of the Somerset family.
■ Previously an affluent family in the wizarding community, rumors of oddity coupled with poor financial planning made the family's reputation fall and their money run out.
■ The past three generations have remained in the home, destitute and selling off heirloom after heirloom to try and keep hold of their home.
■ After her mother's death, Drusilla spent most of her time at Hogwarts, having been hired on as the Divination professor, leaving the house empty most of the year.
■ However, Drusilla is convinced that her mother has returned as a ghost and is haunting the family home. Whether or not this is true or just the imaginings of a crazy woman is unclear.
■ Eventually she was contacted by a distant cousin Cerise, who was in need of a place to live. Drusilla allowed Cerise to move into the family home, excited at the thought of not being alone during the Summer.
