ATTN/NOTE:: to anyone who's interested, this is an open rp to anyone who has a ulaya with a pre-existing relationship to the happy couple. This is a special invitation to all of yuki's family seeing as how long and unlikely it was for him to settle down with Karis. the fact this has happened at all is a HUGE DEAL! If they were curious and wanted to come see all of this for themselves.
-all the children are welcome to interact with anyone visiting, but this should be shortly after the birth. they shouldn't be in full blown adolescent mode yet. lol
-even non family may come. so if they knew karis once upon a time or something is totally cool beans

ALSO - please do not be intimidated by the idea of a group rp. there is NO POSTING ORDER! If your pet is involved in a more continuous visit; then you may quote the person you're interacting with if your ulaya is sticking around for longer than just making an appearance.
-noone is obligated whatsoever to make an appearance or if they do, it doesn't need to be long. they can just be like... "heard through the grapevine you had a family, so we came to see and say hi" sort of thing.

It was a pleasant day that was just after the first day of autumn. The days were growing cooler earlier, and this had a pleasant effect on things. Karis knew that Chiyuki hated summertime. He despised the heat, so she felt a comforting reassurance when the hot weather was departing. That always meant he would be present for longer spans of time a day. Then, within a few months as it grew colder and colder; he'd be there more and more. Then, she paused and looked off at a cloud to introspect. She had to stop and recall. That was all how things normally went, but this summer had been anything but normal. In fact, since his coming to her this summer, he hadn't really hardly left for long. She began to wonder if he would be taking the children with him on hunting trips and teaching them. Who'd be with her then? She considered if perhaps she should be willing to learn to do big game hunting, so she could be with them all. Then, she chewed over another thought. What if that became a special father and child bonding time? What if she should just stay home? These were a sort of conflicted feeling she had never known before. She wasn't sure which was the better path to tread. In the end, she decided not to worry about that just yet. That was a worry for another day.

She then sighed with delirious happiness. Her golden orange tail shimmered in the sunshine as it broke through some tree branches overhead. It shined rays into the little spot she had found. She had actually wanted to give birth in one of the mountain caves, but the time of delivery had come suddenly. Sure, she had known it would be soon, but it caught her a little sooner than expected. She thought she had travel time for sure, but she never took into account that at that stage, it took her much longer to travel than normal. She was still happy with the spot they had found. While it wasn't far from the larger population of ulayas, it was still private. She had a hunch Chiyuki had found it expressly for the privacy. She thought perhaps it was closer to population as well as a fail safe to keep them safe. She could recall since his return; the concept of safety of her and the children were a popular topic.

She then had heard some whisperings of people as they went by. Some had every now and then popped their heads in to see what was all the commotion. The fact that such large litters had become less common in the years after the upheaval of the lands; this wasn't unheard of entirely, but it was still a rare thing. The word of it began to spread. More random ulaya started to visit. Karis could only hope that eventually; some random face would be familiar. Would be nice if they weren't just all nosy, curious ulayas.

The summer is finally leaving and the autumn is coming to greet them with cool weather to the delight of a particular leopard that is lounging in a tall tree, enjoying the shade while she waited for the sun to be at its highest before she slip off for the hunting trip she have been planning for awhile now. This hunt is for her brother Chiyuki because she haven't seen that braggart for a while now and she is wondering what is going on with him, and... she needed someone to beat up. She spent the early morning hours sprawled out on the branch with her leg and tail dangling in midair, her greenish golden eyes occasionally close for short cat naps here and there and it isn't a condience that the tree is completely void of the wildlife except for her because they all know that she is a pure predator with no mercy for others.

As the sun peaked into the skies, Tabithia stretches her body out languidly and her eyes moves to the direction where she have a feeling her brother would be located which is in the direction of mountains. Her muscles ripples under her golden fur as she began her journey by leaping from a tree to other without making any sounds (or less sound possible). The smell of her brother is faint but steadily is getting stronger but.... there is another unfamiliar scent mingling with her brother and it caused her to pause in one tree, sniffing at the air again. It is not usual for Chiyuki to have a female playmate but it is unusual if their scents mingled together this well, Tabithia frowns a bit in annoyance as she picks up her pace, almost fully sprinting/leaping the trees at the full speed, impatient to find out what in the flaming hell is going on.

Her breakneck speed slows down as the scents became more stronger and there are more than two scents which threw her off her mental trail because now she is very sure that Chiyuki got himself in trouble or something. Closing in at the clearing, she picked a tree nearest the clearing and slowly creeps to one branch that is covered by the leaves. tilting her head a bit in surprise to see a purple female with a bunch of cubs that smells like they could be Yuki's children. Tabithia slowly settles down on her stomach but still in a crouching position with her tail curled up against her hind leg, her eyes staring at the female and cubs intently, settling in for a probably a long wait because she wants to know what is going on before she reveals herself.

Karis had been cleaning up the children. She did this a lot. Sometimes, she wasn't sure what she exactly should be doing with them besides feeding, cleaning, and snuggling them. She was quite intent on making the most of every moment of this. She knew all too soon; they'd be growing up and exploring the vast world out there. If they took after their father at all, she knew one day she'd have to come to terms with some occassional long absences. That part made her frown. Frowning was something she never used to do, and she had done it twice in one morning. Not that her optimism had been tarnished much.

Her previous faith in love was fully rewarded. She ability to persevere through years of hardship and unrequited feelings came to a day of beautiful reckoning. She closed her eyes to think of her wonderful and galant Yuki. The beautiful godlike creature who she delighted in thinking of anyways. The mix of knowing his feelings for her and this sudden family they had. She was awash of humility but also enthusiasm and excitement. Her heart was overflowing. She smiled and blushed. She squeed quietly as to not wake up the ones who were napping. In a moment of squee, she happened to in fact look up.

She wasn't quite sure, but she thought she almost made out a shadow of someone high up in the tree. Probably it was just Yuki or Kazu checking on them. Probably. Her eyes widened, her ears prickled to keep a better ear out, and she got up and moved every so often to keep an eye on the babies from a more protective strategy.

Yuri: The kit was wandering off a bit, in search of a little more excitement than his mother's protective embrace. Not that he particularly minded being looked after. Having so many siblings he couldn't imagine a life without the constant presence of others around him, nor would he seek such a life. He was a content little child, perfectly happy and inclined to see and believe in the goodness of the world. He was also perfectly happy to explore a little and see what he might find.

He was enjoying the sunshine, warm on his black fur. He was tempted to settle down and nap, but persevered through his infantile drowsiness towards something that had caught his eye. It was a fluttering thing, colorful and quiet as it floated on the still air. Curious, the kit cocked his head to the side, mesmerized by the things' aerial display. He extended a paw out, swiping at the thing that so entranced him, oblivious to things around him.

User Image The purple kit was just about to poke her head out of the den. While the others went exploring, Isra was trying to seek out entertainment. This meant being the sweet and cute innocent little kit that she was an maybe someone would notice her. Her smile now was genuine and beautiful and could light up the town if it were one. "Momma!~" She saw her in the distance not too far and ran up in to her legs and circled around like a kitten. "Momma~ Have you seen Yuri or or- " Her head shot up out of between her mother's legs. "Momma! Whos that!?"

User Image Tsukouru had finally sought out his family one by one. Happy to know that his daughter had given birth to 6 wonderful children. It had been rare indeed to hear after the big change of earths that two large litters had been born. He hadn't seen his children in months, so it was no surprise that the kits were turning in to their adolescent stages of life but they acted as though they had known him as their grandfather for centuries. Ulaya from all over started to pop around and he heard of another great news from the land. Another huge litter like Ren's had appeared when he only heard of very little births altogether happening. He rangled Rennoa and her daughter up- for an outing and too meet these other families. It would do Ren well to come out and befriend others. From the adoring princess she once was, now she was reserved and reclusive. Tsukouru found an opportunity to open up her eyes and heart again and maybe he could see the daughter he adored. "Come on Nana~Don't fall behind now~We're gunna meet some new friends for you to play with~"

User Image Rennoa's eyes shifted, it had been days where she would merely sleep in her den and had the happiness sucked right out of her. Every day, her kids would try and cheer her up- or she would do her duties as a mother but with six children. It was hard. Belial had set off to take care of the other five- hoping that he would make it to come see the new litter. Her litter would have been celebrated too- but they were born when the world had shaken and were uneasy. How she managed to keep all six of them alive was by miracle and becoming overly protective. Also, she 'couldn't let her kids get bullied or humiliated. She knew what the outside world had done to her brother- had done to her mate. They would call her children demons. With their spade tails and fangs. The evil look in their eyes... but her children were raised in a loving home, merely misjudged on looks.

Her father convinced her that a day out would be nice. When Belial took the kids out- Nana opted to stay and 'protect mommy from evil-doers' and so Nana ended up coming along on their little adventure. She remembered a long time ago, when her parents used to boast about them, how beautiful their children were. How kind her father was to take in all kids of children- adopted in to their family. It was no wonder that he wanted her to make an appearance. Her children were about adolescence now, and could fend for themselves.. It was time to show them the world out there. In maw, she had weaved a basket with flowers and freshly picked berries. Along with it, a necklace with a stone of good health... Muffled. "I expect you be on your best behavior. We can talk about sidekicks later. Remember- they are newly borns so no rough housing." Sighing then trying to lift a smile at her father.

User Image "Really grampam!? Maybe- maybe- A SIDEKICK!? Wouldn't that be epic!" Nana was especially curious about the world around her. She wanted to fight the bad guys! And help the world! But she needed to see it first! Ever since grandpa started to come around, he would take them on trips. Her siblings had been the first out of many of breedings to produce such a large number of new lives in to the world. They- were not celebrated. They were encaged and overly protected... Never not once seeing the world on the outside of their protective cave home. They were a quiet breeding but her grandfather insisted that they come see and celebrate a new born litter that was sparked to bring many other ulaya around. To branch out- maybe Nana could find a side kick! Wouldn't that be fun! Her large fluffy tail wagged happily behind her. "Mum? Can I bring home a sidekick. I need a sidekick. You know, when Haku doesn't want to play with me anymore." Her ears swerved as she saw two forms in the distance. "AHOY! I see them mum!" Quickly running up in front of her grandda and dodging through his legs looking all bad-a** super hero like. "HELLO!"

Karis spied Yuri sneaking off. Her eyes widened in a tad of panic. "Yuri! Don't go far! You stay right where you can be seen please? You'll make me worry." She then licked one of the babies who were still laying there resting. She started to get up. She needed to move to a spot where she could keep an eye on her son without leaving the others. She still peeked upwards sometimes. She was pretty sure there was someone up there or out there or something. Then, she heard her daughter's voice. "Isra, don't you go to far either." She then debated if she should get up and bring her children back by the napes of their necks. Obviously, these babies were adventurous already. She wondered what that might mean for them later on.

She then went outside their little leaved and shaded nook. She then saw quite a few ulaya. She went over to pick up her son. She put him on one of her shoulders. She walked back to in front of their approaching visitors. "Hello! Are you all lost? Can we help you?" She put her son down there. She tried to slide Isra next to him with her paws while talking to them.

Yuri heard the sound of his mother's voice, his ears swiveling backwards at her insistent tone, but he chose to ignore her, following the path of the fluttering insect he had found. He smiled as it flapped and twitted about and he began trying to paw at it, watching it dive and dance out of the way with rapt attention.

And so he was thoroughly surprised to feel himself being lifted off the ground. His first instinct was to flail and try to escape, but the familiar scent and feel of his mother soothed him into stillness. He was delighted to ride on his mother's shoulder and cooed and giggled delightedly as they moved. She set him down in front of some newcomers, who he eyed with a mixture of suspicion and curiosity. He noticed his sister being shoved his way and pounced on her with a grin. "Isra!" He gnawed on her ear playfully as he looked over the other kit that had arrived.
