As soon as he entered Andile, Yaholo knew he would be in for quite a ride. His mother would be all over him, bringing attention to how amazing he was, and while everyone else would just roll their eyes and nod along with her. Yes, he was amazing, yes, he beat the odds, thank you, Luljeta, we see!

He chuckled and rolled a pebble under his foot as his mother made her fuss, as predicted, and all he could do was nod along. Towards the end of her praises and cheers, he noticed Tahigwa running to and from another house, and decided to check up on his baby sister.

"What's with all the running about, Tahi?" He asked. "Is someone injured in there or something?"

Tahigwa paused and gave Yaholo an awkward smile, before slowly nodding her head. She glanced about cautiously and gently pushed Yaholo through the door she had just run out of. Afterwards, she tugged him aside for a rather tight hug.

"First off, you're a Massif! EEEE!" She squealed. "I'm so proud of you, Yaholo! I can't believe how awesome you are! I'm so jealous!"

Then, he face returned to an awkward state, and she pointed to a girl laying in a bed set up to their side. "And I hope Pahana's proud of you too!" She quipped.

Pahana shot straight up in bed as soon as she heard her name and squealed wildly when she spotted Yaholo. She made it! Her brother was right there and... Whoa... He was so different! Had that much time really passed by since he left Yera? Ooof, the girls in Yera would be all over him!

She swiveled herself out of bed and wrapped her arms around Yaholo's shoulders for a tight squeeze. He was so strong! He was so tall! And that new hammer was certainly amazing! Daddy would be so proud of him!

"Yaholo, I've missed you so so so so so so soooo sooooo much!" She cried, snuggling into his chest. "Tahigwa told me that you went all the way out to see Aisha when I got here and I was so shocked! To think, I wanted to drag you all the way home, but now I see how well you're doing! I'M SO PROUD!"

Yaholo, though utterly shocked by Pahana's sudden appearance, dragged both of his baby sisters in for a hug. He didn't really care how Pahana had gotten all the way to Andile on her own, which he hoped wasn't the case, but all that mattered was that she had arrived to the welcome of her sister, Tahigwa. He snuggled them both close to his side before letting them go and moving to sit upon the bed.

"What a surprise, both my baby sisters here to greet me!" He chirped. "How in the world did you manage to get here all by yourself, Pahana? I mean, did dad come with you or do I have to bring you back to Yera to explain your big escape?"

Tahigwa snuggled up to both Yaholo and Pahana before moving to flop down next to Yaholo. Well, he was happy to see them, that was good! She had been so worried that he would have started yelling about Pahana being here, she was glad to see he was happy to see her instead!

"I'm not even sure how she got here, honestly!" She said, arching an eyebrow at Pahana. "Or how you got past the guards! Were they even at their posts, Pahana?"

Pahana happily flopped beside Yaholo and clung to his arm. Her big brother was back in her sight and in her grasp! She had missed him SO much, she thought she would never see him again! But yet, here he was, and he was happy to see her! She sat upright as she was questioned and shrugged her shoulders.

"I got lost in Shifter territory at first, but a dancing troupe was kind enough to help me find my way back to the path." She explained. "Then I wandered around until I recognized the markers for Andile and Emeka that you made, Yaholo. I just followed those until I got to the gates!" She paused at Tahigwa's question and nodded, before laughing. "There was one girl who didn't seem to care about her job! I told her that I wanted to see Yaholo and Tahigwa and she let me through without a fight! What kind of guard does that?"

"A troupe of dancing Shifters, eh?" Yaholo said. Oh, well, he'd have to thank them for taking care of his precious ditz of a sister. He smiled when she commented on his markers, he knew those would come in handy! At least Pahana was learning to look for directions instead of wandering blindly. Maybe he wouldn't have to worry so much about her anymore...

Then, he scoffed. "Nesrine, her name is Nesrine, and she is the worst Guard that I know." He replied, chuckling. "She doesn't care about anything, from what I've observed, but she happens to care about Tahigwa and my mother, so I suppose she let you in based on that." He leaned backwards and laid his head down upon the blankets. "Anyway, I've had quite a journey, and I need a break from mom's cheering and praises. Do either of you want to take a walk to the beach?"

Tahigwa laughed as Yaholo described Nesrine. In truth, Nesrine was their mother's cousin, their great-aunt Susuya's daughter. While Nessie, as she was called, wasn't one to pay attention or, rather, care much for what went on around her, she was still a great friend and companion. Who cares if her guarding skills weren't so great? They had Yaholo for that now! He could handle anything!

"The beach? Sure! It's perfect weather for a swim!" She exclaimed. "I heard that someone found a bunch of treasure out there recently, maybe we could find it if we looked hard enough!"

Pahana smiled, just content hearing her brother talk. She couldn't remember the last time she heard his voice, it had been at least half a year since he left Yera. She nodded along with him as he explained who the guard had been and chuckled along with Tahigwa, she sounded like a character! Maybe she would want to hang out with them sometime?

"I've never been to the beach, Yaholo!" Pahana exclaimed, her eyes growing wide. "Dad always promised me that we would go when we got older, but we never did because mom was so afraid we would never come back! I've always longed to feel the sand on my feet and the wind in my hair..."

Oh, Tahigwa... Yaholo didn't know about treasure hunting, at least not today. Tahigwa was always coming up with new ways to make him more tired than he would ever need to be. He scoffed and shook his head towards Tahigwa, before smiling brightly at Pahana.

"That's right! Dad never did keep his promise, did he?" He laughed. "Well, it's up to me then, isn't it? Let's grab some towels and get going before the sun sets!"

He hopped back onto his feet and motioned for them to follow him back out into the village, before hustling towards his mother's house.

"Hurry! I don't want to get caught up by the praise committee again!" He cried.

Tahigwa suppressed a pout. Aw, no treasure hunting? Maybe he was too tired to adventure right now, seeing as he had just got back from visiting with Aisha. Then that was okay, he needed to relax a little and she could deal with that. Plus, when he was over stressed, he was a force to reckon with. She didn't want to put strain on him.

"Alright!" She replied, pulling Pahana along. "Don't worry, as long as you're with Yaholo and I, no one will fuss over you."

Pahana started to bounce about as Yaholo laughed. They were going to the beach! She was so excited! She would get to swim and dance on a different type of sand, one that would hopefully not be so hot like the sand in Tale!

She allowed Tahigwa to tug her along and blinked at Tahigwa's words. What did she mean by that? Was she not supposed to be here or something? Yaholo didn't seem worried about her being here... Maybe she missed something?

"How far is the beach from here, Yaho?" She asked, once they entered the house.

Yaholo turned to face his sisters as they entered the home, his arms filled with towels. He wasn't certain how many they would need, but figured that because of how long his hair was now that he would need a few more just in case. He swung a few over his shoulder, handed two to each girl, and beamed.

"Not far! We can take a fun route, too!" He chirped. "When I was crossing the forests and the islands, I hopped from tree to tree while wearing a cloak so I wouldn't be recognized. Would you two like to have a little race against your big brother?"

Tahigwa took her ration of towels and tucked them under her arm as Yaholo spoke. He wore a cloak so he wouldn't get caught? What a great idea! She would have to make herself a cloak and copy him in the future.

"A race? You bet!" She squealed, smirking. "Hopping through the trees is MY thing, brother! You'll be left behind in the breeze!"

Pahana shrunk back at the idea of a race, never mind jumping through trees. While it did sound fun, it also sounded a little dangerous, and after getting scuffed up during her travel through Jauhar, she really didn't want to make another set of mistakes in step. She gazed up to Yaholo sheepishly and shook her head.

"I don't think I should race, I could slip..." She said. "Maybe I can follow you two on the ground where it's safe?"
