Jerarda had found her little Rishima and was still chuckling to herself about his new found stalker friend. She wanted to meet this hybrid 'friend' of his but for now she had more important things to worry about, like training to make sure she was ready for any surprise attack that may happen.
Plus she was curious how her food driven friend Vollerei was doing. It had been awhile since she had seen her 'sister' and she thought this was a good enough excuse to go visit her as well see if she could get a sparing session in.
Moving through the tree tops she had her lance strapped to her back, she was making her way towards the make shift hut she recalled Vollerei setting up shop in. She had no idea if the woman was still there but she could only hope.

Vollerei, after gathering all her supplies and gear for her travels out of Jauhaur, had suddenly realized she'd forgotten the most important things: her spices! She'd left them in her tree house home in Jahaur! So she gathered up Snack and Zweil and headed back to it to get the bags f spices she'd left behind to keep safe.
When she was almost there, she noticed some signs of recent passage headed the same direction as her. Deciding to get some hunting practice out of it, Vollerei began to stalk this trail, knowing that it was likely a person from what little she could see. Who is it? She wondered.
After awhile of sneaking about and following hte trail, she suddenly spotted a figure in front of her. Quickly hiding, she peeked around again and smirked. It was Jerarda! Well now, since it was a friend, perhaps she should see how close she could get and try to scare her! Vollerei put down her bags and spear and motioned for Zweil and Snack to stay there and silent. They'd been on enough hunts to know when she was too busy and would not appreciate them making noise.
Creeping about, Vollerei began to stalk Jerada, getting ever closer.

It was the vibrations that her antenna felt that alerted her first to the presence of Vollerei, but at the same time she hardly seemed worried as she continued to look about the rather abandoned looking home with a slight frown. Here she had hoped she would find the rather big hipped girl and be able to warn her about the series of dangers that were coming about in the forest. New dangers beyond the attack of the fire nation. Looking over her shoulder she had yet to spot Vollerei but she knew something was behind her, her hand tightened on the shaft of her spear as she whipped around putting her back to the home as to not be snuck up from behind. "Who is there? Show yourself." She demanded as she didn't want another run in with those insect beasts like she had in the past.

Vollerei grinned as Jerarda called out. Buggers, spotted! She swung down and hung upside down from her branch as she waved at her older friend. " 'Ello Jerarda! Nice to see you again." She waggled her own spear, "I managed to make it to Blade! Was just wondering when I'd run into you again when I spotted you today." Zweil gurgled, he did not want to be hung upside down! Squirming he and Snack tried to get out of her bag, neither liking the confines and being in their together. "Oi, you two, stop that! You'll fall!" Vollerei said as she felt the bag begin to shake. She sighed and flipped down to another branch and opened it to let them out. "Sheesh, impatient little tykes! This is Zweil and Snack," She said to Jerarda, pointing to them as the tumbled out of the bag.

Looking up it took Jerarda a long moment to finally relax, she seemed rather tense lately though for good reason. Giving Vollerei a grin once she managed to shake off her paranoia for the time and allow herself to relax. Leaning on her spear she observed her sister who was proudly displaying her new rank by wielding her spear. As well...was that a bug? Giving a raised eyebrow and then a chuckle as the creature tried to escape her grasp and when they were introduced to her she couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Snack? Are you planning on eating that one eventually? Or only if you get really hungry?" She joked taking in the pets as she never anticipated that Vollerei would be the kind of person who would keep them. Giving a moment to allow her muscles to relax she leaned against her spear. "Besides that I am proud you have claimed a rank my sister, I am also glad to see that you are fairing well. With talk of war...I have been checking up on those I know."

Vollerei chuckled. "I was originally just saving him to eat when I was hungry, then got attached, I'll still eat 'em if I'm stared but till then Snack's a pet." She managed to get Zweilicht and Snack settled and then smiled sadly across at Jerarda. "I was at the tournament and heard the announcement. Not a happy way to end things at all. Was going to head out and see a bit of the world beyond the jungle so that way if I die during this war, I'll have tasted strange and new foods before I go." She shrugged, what was one to do in this sort of situation? Sit and mope? She'd rather go out, see new people and eat lots of food! "Glad you stopped by before I left. Did you tell my parents I was okay? I'd rather not go back to the Isle's right now. I may be dragged into war thingies and never get to taste new foods...." Of course... she could have gone back herself before the tournament.. but it was so much fun to live out here! No nagging people complaining about her and her habits.... But now it was too late and Vollerei was headed out.

Jerarda laughed at Voll's comment about the pet being only a temporary thing, at least until things turn south. Though her laughter and smile on her face faded as Vollerei explained her reasons for leaving her home. To see and taste what she could before she met her end? Not if Jerarda had anything to say about it. Cuffing the younger woman on the shoulder in a friendly yet..painful way. "Yes I let your family know you were alive and well when I went to the islands..though you need to change your way of thinking..right now I am more concerned about a threat closer to home than these people from Oba." Jera began her hand tightening on the shaft of her weapon before she allowed her gaze to move past Voll to sacn the immediate surrounding area. "There is something in the depths of the forest that has me on edge...and I wish that these fire people could of chosen a better time to plan to attack..its foolish when we should be gathering force and unite...instead of fighting."

Vollerei looked at her friend and cocked an eyebrow at her. "Uh.. we are uniting and fighting I thought? If not the fire nation, what else should we be fighting?" Was there something else out there that she should be worried about? One war was more than enough! She didn't want to have to fight something else! Apparently the world didn't want her to go out and eat all the different foods people made, why else would it be throwing these road blocks in her way?

Looking to Vollerei she wondered if she should get into too much detail about the strange creatures that were too close to home for comfort. After a moment of deliberation she sighed and moved her gaze away from her sister, her muscles were tense as if she had just heard something. "...yes there are the people from the fire nation...but there is something much closer to us...under this very forest that we should be paying more attention to. Have you...never noticed some of the strange going's on? Strangely cloaked figures, setting fires and attacking people in Jahaur? " Jerarda inquired as she looked over the forest floor as if she was expecting something to suddenly leap out and attack them any moment. After a moments pause she continued, "I went to a section of the forest that is dying...I tried to find out what was causing the problem and was attacked by these..strange bug like men. They wielded fire and tried to kill me. These...creatures are a great evil that have been around for hundreds of years...if they are coming back..the war with Oba will be but a grain in the sand compared to the devastation these men will cause."

jayoku totally not tagging during class... nope.. not me.... And we can continue this if you want :3 Strange bug men and fire stuff? "Hmm, I've never seen anything like that. Heard something probably, but nothing serious." But then she normally didn't pay attention to gossip and stuff unless it was going on while she ate.. .and then sometimes she didn't pay attention then either. "Well, we've gotta deal with the Oban's first since they're a bit more active. Bug men can wait a bit I guess." She sighed. "So much wars and stuff happening. How am I ever going to taste all the food in the world if I keep getting interrupted?!" Vollerei had her priorities, and food was always first.

Jerarda sighed heavily, everyone was too worried about the people of the Fire Nation, and not the immediate and much greater threat of the creatures in their own homeland and under their feet. Though as Vollerei complained about how the war was interrupting her eating she couldn't help but give her a blank look before she laughed. "You and your stomach, the world could be ending but you would be more concerned what your last meal would be..." Jerarda chuckled shaking her head lightly, "Perhaps though I could bribe you to train with me. Once I find something good enough to bride you with that is." Jerarda smirked as she cuffed Vollerei on the shoulder. robot Kitten We wanted to have the battle in a different rp right?

jayoku Yup, battle in different rp since she's gone up in stats. Vollerei gave her sister a big cocky grin. "So long as I get food to eat, the world is a lovely place as far as I'm concerned!" It wasn't completely true.. but was certainly close! She would be upset if the war killed her few friends or family, true. But the hunger was very immediate! The loss of family or friends was in the future while stomach pans was now. "Oh! If you do find any food, I'd love to eat them! I can always be bribed with food. What sort of bribe were you thinking?" Maybe it would be something new and exotic! Or just plain good food she'd already tried by liked anyways!

Jerarda tapped the bottom of her lip as if trying to figure out what would be the best thing to try and bribe Vollerei with to train. "I am sure I will know it when I see it. It could be some rare fruit or perhaps food from a distant land. I am sure you'd be happy with anything as long as it is interesting right?" The older sister teased the younger as she leaned against her spear. She always found her mood lifted when she spoke to Vollerei and that was a nice thing considering how much weighed down on her lately. The impending invasion from Oba, the bug mages who could at any moment come out to try and destroy the world. Then there was her worrying about Animah and how she was doing as well Rishima. She needed to locate both those people. "Anyway I want you to remain vigilant, these creatures will be more than happy to set you and your food on fire than to look at you."

Vollerei chuckled and shook her head. "Food makes me happy. If I'm happy I can deal with all the bad stuff going on. The more strange and tasty the food the better! I shall look forward to seeing what you bring!" She was glad to see some of the gloom lift from her friends face, what ever was happening had put a damper on her sister. "Don't worry," she said with a large grin and lazy wave of her hand. "I'll be the one trying to eat the creatures before they try to eat me. In an eat or be eaten world." She patted her large hips. "I win."

There was something a bit disturbing about that mind set. Given that the creatures she was worrying about were insect would Vollerei actually try and eat them? A disturbing mental image she shook her head to clear it of the idea. She wanted to tell her sister about the bug mages, but she wasn't entirely sure what to tell her beyond they were a threat. She didn't have enough information to really get into detail. "Well I will make sure to bring you something delicious." She managed as she stretched a arm that was beginning to get stiff on her. "Just promise me that you will be careful and stay away from the dying section of the forest. Its very dangerous there."
