No conflict has appeared in ages. The Keyblades are forgotten. The worlds are connected, but not all know each other. The denizens of the Realm of Light had thought themselves in a time of peace and safety. However, a storm has approached as if from nowhere, devastating worlds in short spans of time, and their actions have gone in silence for the most part. There have been very few survivors of these attacks, but all of their stories seem to be the same: a large army arrives in the world and destroys everything as it had been known, ridding them of Light and filling the world with Darkness. The army is said to depart soon after, leaving the world and its people to be trapped in Darkness. Some of the survivors say that their world, left in this state, was then attacked by the Heartless, and destroyed. Why are only some of these "darkened worlds" spared? Who is this enigmatic army? How are they able to devastate the worlds in this manner? One survivor of the destruction has begun to seek these answers, though he may never succeed on his own...

((This is an alternate-universe RP, as I don't want the story to fit into the canon. There are no Keyblade Masters, and the worlds sustain themselves - or at least they did until the Fellowship started wreaking havoc. How the worlds became connected, however, is a question only time will answer...))

Fellowship of Golden Light - These are the people responsible for drowning the worlds in Darkness. Who exactly they are, and their motives, are still a mystery. Members of this team are open for application.

The High Ring - Certain spots on this list will be available for audition as time goes by.

Canon Characters - Some canon characters will be allowed in the RP, to help whichever side they would choose to help. Canon characters are only available in whichever world they would appear in, and only if that world is "cleaned". Available canons are listed in their respective worlds in the Worlds section.

Other Side Characters

Professor Mira - A survivor from a destroyed world, trying to study the Heartless. Currently lives in Traverse Town.

Valrie Perch - A powerful mage also bearing skills in thievery. She has taken up residence in Merlin's old house in the Third District of Traverse Town since the destruction of her world.

Abilities

You are free to give your character abilities as you would usually expect. However, there is a new type of ability in this roleplay - those learned from Heartless data. This method is unavailable at the very start, but will be explained very soon. Many of these abilities will be available to everyone, but there may be some which will only fit whichever "job class" your character most closely relates to.

Limits are allowed, but only one per character at the beginning. If you wish to make a team Limit with another character(s), they will be allowed after a certain point. Either way, you'll have to create your Limit yourself.

Summons are allowed, but only one per character as it stands now, and they'll have to be obtained through special means.

Drive Forms... I'm still debating. I'm sure we could make it work, but everyone will have to play fair. Not to mention that special clothes or some other special item would be required. What do y'all think?


Weapons

Everyone is expected to create their own weapon. If you want your weapon to have access to Hammerspace, you'll have to go through a Dive Into The Heart-style sequence, or have it granted to you by a powerful character, canon or otherwise, such as Merlin, Yen Sid, the Three Good Faeries, etc.

All Fellowship of Golden Light members have special weapons called Vessels, which allow them to transform pieces of landscape, certain objects, and even people, into a Darkness equivalent. All Vessels have access to Hammerspace, as they are granted to Fellowship members by a powerful sorcerer in their team. The design of the weapon is still up to you, though.



I am willing to allow a few Keyblades if some people want one, but I don't want very many in this RP, and you will have to design and apply for one yourself.

Notes

- We're going to need more Fellowship members than Cleaners. We don't want fifty Cleaners going up against just a few bad guys, when the bad guys are supposed to be a frickin' army. Also, if you want a high-ranking Fellowship character, just say so. Grab 'em while they're hot! ...or something.
- Free roaming is so totally allowed. Your Hero character doesn't have to stick with the main party. Just keep in mind that if you go to a Darkened world alone, you're pretty much asking to be omnomnom'ed by the Heartless. You have been warned.
- I am so in over my head right now. I'll do my best to guide the story (somewhat), but if you have any ideas, shout 'em out!
