User Image--*disclaimer: not actually a prince even kind of

--The Hunter
--Name: Prince Edgar Percival Augustus Burke II of Elizabethshire
--Nicknames: Edgar, Percy, Prince Albert in the Can
--Gender: Male
--Age: 17
--Category: Death

--Personality:

--[ + ]

--Lawfully Good: Edgar follows a strong sense of order and ethic, and is eager to follow rules and make sure that rules are followed. He is strongly committed to fighting evil in every sense of the word.

--Honest: Good people don't lie, and Edgar is on a straight and narrow path of goodness. No need to try to dissuade him from that. He'll truth you to death.

--Loyal: His loyalties are very carefully chosen, but his dedication to those loyalties can occasionally cross the line into extremity.

--[ - ]

--Awfully Good: The thing about Edgar's devotion to his alignment and code is that he can really overdo it. There are no rules that are meant to be broken, and even if it's a little white lie or an act of misconduct, it's 100% not okay in his eyes. He fails to see any flaws within the set of rules that have been constructed by superior parties, and any claims otherwise would be met with angry opposition.

--If you have committed a crime or breach of ethics and he is aware of this problem, he will not rest until he is satisfied that it has been punished properly.

--Domineering: He's Prince Edgar. Don't ******** forget it.

--Faintly Delusional: Look at him.

At the core of things, he doesn't really believe that he's a prince. He does, however, believe that he deserves to be, which is enough to give him all of the confidence and drive to try to act like one. Or how he thinks one would act, anyway. Anything he believes is so far set in stone that anything to the contrary is just ridiculous. Of course, he believes some very ridiculous things, so the contrary is probably the more sensible of the two.

--Physical Description: Here!

--The Weapon
--Name: Caoimhe (kee-va)
--Nicknames: Key
--Type of Weapon: Misericorde
--Former species of weapon: Sorceress
--Gender: Female

--Personality: Caoimhe has a strong drive to help that tends to take control of many aspects of her existence, which is now very convenient, because one look at Edgar proves that he definitely needs a lot of help.

--Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? As someone with a strong need to fight for light and goodness in the world, when Edgar was given the opportunity to fight the darkness that he could see, there was no question that he would accept.

--Weapon Ability: Gambler's Chance Mechanic. At full charge, Edgar can fling a charged attack towards his opponent, as if he were casting a spell with a dagger. But he's a prince, not a wizard, so this is occasionally problematic for his own health.

The Lock:

'There once was a Great King. He was the Greatest King, and in his hand he held seven legacies. Creation, Protection, Pride, Grief, Destruction, Reflection, and Revenge. Each was given a purpose, a task, to be fulfilled.'

The lock can never be unsealed. Caoimhe's memories are eternally bound within it.

The LARP:

In 8th grade, Edgar picked up LARPing, and never put it down again.

It was the first 'hobby' that his parents saw him take a serious liking to, so they threw praise (and money) at him in hopes of supporting it. By the time it got too far out of hand, they were so confused over how to handle it that they couldn't really stop him.

He participated so diligently in local events that he was eventually granted the title of royalty. The bribes probably didn't hurt that either.

The 13th Hour:

The 13th Hour was a website that Edgar joined, upon discovering others out there had 'supernatural' experiences that were very similar to his own. He eventually got a little too into it, and began treating it like a second roleplay.

Which is why he was eager to accept the invitation to 'The Nightwatch'.

The Nightwatch:

The Nightwatch was a secret subforum on the 13th Hour website, accessible only by members that were handpicked by the site's admin. The members of this subgroup were more aware of visual supernatural occurrences - Edgar noticed that most, if not all of them, spoke of moving shadows, for instance. The admin often suggested to them that there was a reason for this connection and congruence between them, and occasionally implied that the disappearance of Nightwatch members from the site was for suspicious reasons.

Edgar thought they probably just got sick of this roleplay.
