Modeled after Las Vegas, this place bursts alive at night, all night, every night. Full of nightclubs, casinos, hotels, and all sorts of things. Labelled as The Rack by the Vampires for the ease in hunting here, plenty of drunk or reckless people having too much fun to worry about a few pints of blood. As a result, Vampires have a strong presence here due to the easy hunting and the all night activity.

Tory was on her way home when the vegas district caught her attention. With a laugh, she headed on down the brightly lit streets. Dancing girls and dressed up men bustled about as they trying to hustle people into there establishment. She shook her head no to each person that asked her to join in the fun. For her walking through was enough excitement for the night. She pushed back her hair a few times as she spun about, trying to see everything happening at once. Quickly in all the fun Tory dropped her guard, getting swept up in the street performances.
The Doctor walked down the street with his hands in the pockets of his trench coat, taking one out every so often to fix his glasses. He seemed tired, like a man who just got off after working late at a tiring job. Seeing as how he was a doctor that was likely the case. But he wasn't really here to relax, not quite. He was here with only one thing in mind. Equilibrium.

Not really paying attention to everything around her, Tory walked right into the doctor. As they collided she stumbled backwards and landed on her butt. Big blue eyes looked up and blinked a few times. Quickly she grabbed her things and made her way to her feet. "I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" Tory asked as she dusted herself off.

The Edge :
Most hunters are nothing more and mere humans, but a few have an edge to their fight. This edge isn’t supernatural nor can it trump any supernatural ability but it help to give a slight hand up in the fight against the monsters that go bump in the dark.
Be Calm- This ability is just as it sounds. She radiates inner calm inhibiting drastic action and slowing down reaction times, while also stifling anger, relieving fear and lessening senses of urgency.( It can’t brain wash or make a person do something against their will. But it can calm down a group of screaming humans long enough to get business taken care of. )
Insinuate - By treating the supernatural as people, rather than monsters the she can upset and strain their foes, making it harder for the opponents to focus on subsequent attacks.( It’s kinda like having a really good reputation and it makes you less likely of a target. But at the same time the monsters will come to you when they are backed in a corner. )
Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.
After nice long day of paperwork Amanda was sent out to the Vegas district for patrol. She didn't like Vegas district much. Is overcrowded, noisy, and full of distractions. It is hard to tell releases were coming from there too many smells. This was one of those places where catching a vampire was nearly impossible. In her eyes it was a punishment for the other night.
Her badge and gun swung gently on her hip as she walked down the street with her hands deeper pockets. A cinnamon toothpick hung loosely from her lips since this is one of the places she couldn't smoke. She grumbled softly as she moved through the crowds of people. As showgirls and promoters try to approach her she would growl and give them a little snarl, quickly sending them away. "I should have been on the outskirts of the city tonight." Amanda huffed to herself. The one thing she did notice was the woman and the doctor colliding.

The Doctor looked up just too late as he collided with the girl and knocked her over. He stumbled back, but managed to maintain his balance. Fixing his glasses as he tended to, he wanted to check if she was okay. "It's quite alright, I'm fine. What about you? Your the one who fell after all..." She seemed nice, that was good. After all, he was looking for a nice girl. He needed Balance. "My name is Richard, and you might be?" The Doctor wasn't aware of the Police Officer nearby, he was too preoccupied with what was before him.

She brushed herself off a few times before looking back up at the doctor. "yeah I'm fine. More embarrassed than anything." She said before offering a smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm Tory." She offered a hand. "I was just out taking a stroll since my original plans got derailed for the evening."

Rolling her eye, Amanda went on walking. Nether of them seemed to mind and a fight wasn't going to brake out. She started moving once more. With a heavy sight she turned the cornet and walked out of sight. She had to meet up with her partner and report in. Worse was he looked liked a greased up guy about to go to a strip clue.

Nao walked calmly down the streets with an even smile on his lips. As he was, he went by the name "Anguis" and he was the go to person whenever someone wanted information. "The Snake-Eyed Informant". However, information was not freely given and it was an often occurrence for him to only give out broken pieces or simply nothing at all. The Vegas District was always such a lively place, he enjoyed that. With this many people, many emotions were thick in the air. It was refreshing. He stretched his arms then fixed his hat a bit before looking around at the people for something interesting. He was bored. He eased into an alley to get out of the way of people walking on the street but remained visible as he leaned against the wall. He crossed his arms. Maybe a couple drunks will start fighting with each other. He would want to be there if that happened.

"Is that so? I'm taking a stroll myself, helps relax after work." Richard takes her hand in turn. She seemed perfect. Exactly what he was looking for. It was always so easy when they came to him. "Well then, unless you've plans, perhaps we could...stroll together?" He smiled slightly, warmly really. An aura of calm and kindness seemed to radiate from him. It was a gift, just who he was really.

Amanda finished talking to her partner for the night and turned back to the main street. She had already lost sight of the doctor and the woman but it didn't seem to matter any. Passing a trashcan, she spit her cinnamon toothpick into it. It had long lost it's flavor and started to splinter. Already she was craving a cigarette once more. At least the night seemed like it was going to be quiet or at least she wasn't spotting anything that really caught her eye. But that through came just as she spotted the man ducked into the opening of the alleyway. He didn't seem like he was trying to hide anything. Still it was better to check it out then to leave things to chance. She walked over the edge of the building and leaned back, propping one foot against the wall. She was on the opposite side from him, making it easier to see him. "Having a good night?" Amanda called out as she looked over to him.

"Well Richerd, I do my best thinking when I have compony. So I would love it if you joined me. What diection would you care to go in?" She had been walking aimlessly. Simply looking around as she went. It wasn't often that she had company at tight. The thought put a smile on her face.

Anguis was still looking out to the busy streets. They were so full of life. He was enjoying the brisk air and the buzzing noise of the people. One of his fingers was tapping on his bicep like an anxious tick save for the fact that he was completely calm. Then a female voice called out to him. He turned his head to see a woman looking right at him, parallel to his position in the alley. His eyebrow lifted a bit in interest. "Why yes I am," he answered with a smile, "There's really nothing quite like this busy nightlife. It leaves me simply ecstatic," his tone held honesty in it. He put a hand to his hat lifting it a bit, "Are you perhaps enjoying yourself as well, or perhaps it is the opposite?" he asked in a curious tone. This woman's first impression had him to believe that she was...dull.

"I enjoy my job but I personally can't stand the place." Amanda said bluntly turning her eyes back to the crowded streets. She preferred places where it was easier to tell the people from the monsters. But in this place everyone was dressed up like Halloween it seemed. It is almost impossible to catch anyone here, especially the things she hunted. Occasionally on a good night she might catch a vampire in the act but that was the only time she was sure she had the right person. "A busy nightlife usually leads to unwanted trouble." She added shifting her badge on her belt to make sure he could see. "And may I ask for your standing here just watching everybody walk by?" Even if he wasn't doing anything wrong she is always quick to suspect people when she was here. Amanda reached into her pocket and she spoke pulling out a pack of cigarettes. She pulled one out return the pack to her pocket. And slowly started to flip the cigarette in her fingers she contemplated writing it up.

Anguis listened to the woman in mild interest. He smirked, "Ah, but it is that very trouble that keeps things interesting," he added in response to her dislike for discord, "Life would be such a dreary thing without it." His eyebrow lifted again when her intentionally made her badge and thus her authority known to him. "Just doing what I do best, people watching," he stated and after a brief pause he continued, "But of course you don't appear to be one for vague answers, right policegirl?" He dusted off his coat a bit, "I'm simply out watching, enjoying the night air, making mental notes, and collecting information that could be of use later," the smile on his lips spread a bit wider, "I'm an informant. Is there something you need to know? Don't worry, I don't discriminate," he finally said holding a mischievous air to him.
