Where all the shipping is done, docks and crates can be found here, along with warehouses of varying sizes, some full of who knows what and some eerily empty. The ships are all large cargo ships, some always coming and going, but some that hardly seem to leave.

Delicious. It always saved the femurs for last, they had the most marrow. And that was the best part. Not as filling as flesh, but far sweeter. The beast finished off the last few bits, crunching the bones to bits in it's jaws. Not a single trace was left of Eddy the Dock Worker. Not even the blood. The creatures hands could mop it up nice and clean, absorbing it like a gory sponge. It was almost humanoid, though hunched over and with great clawed hands and feet. It was hairless but had a thick hide that could block low caliber bullets like a Kevlar vest. It's head was monstrous with an elongated face and horrid fangs. Slitted eyes that could see perfectly in the dark, and long, pointed ears that could hear a whisper from across the room. It was the perfect predator. It knew so. No human could harm it beyond some bruises and the somewhat rare knife cuts. And humans were the dominant species of the planet, yet they were it's prey. That makes it the dominant predator in the entire world. It licked out it's tongue, its skin absorbing the blood on its face, as it began to hunger for more.

The Edge :
Most hunters are nothing more and mere humans, but a few have an edge to their fight. This edge isn’t supernatural nor can it trump any supernatural ability but it help to give a slight hand up in the fight against the monsters that go bump in the dark.
Be Calm- This ability is just as it sounds. She radiates inner calm inhibiting drastic action and slowing down reaction times, while also stifling anger, relieving fear and lessening senses of urgency.( It can’t brain wash or make a person do something against their will. But it can calm down a group of screaming humans long enough to get business taken care of. )
Insinuate - By treating the supernatural as people, rather than monsters the she can upset and strain their foes, making it harder for the opponents to focus on subsequent attacks.( It’s kinda like having a really good reputation and it makes you less likely of a target. But at the same time the monsters will come to you when they are backed in a corner. )
Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.
A few days had passed since Eddy went missing. The cops were calling in for the missing persons report. Two cars drove up as close as they could. 3 men got out of a nicer black car. Amanda got out of an old red junker and looked around. She went to one of the dock workers and flashed a badge as she started asking about missing people. She went from person to person asking questions. No one seemed to know anything and no clues where left behind. She growled in frustration before taking out a cigarette and lighting it up. Quickly a few people came running to have her put it out. "For the love of..." Lifting a foot, she put it out on the bottom on her shoe. 'Anything.' She thought to Katrina, wanting to find some kind of clue.

The monster had taken its second meal shortly after Eddy in the form of some bum in a cardboard box. It was over before the man could even scream. Like with Eddy, the man was devoured without any leftovers. However, there was one thing. The cardboard box. At least, what was left of it. A few bloody scraps of cardboard were left behind between the two warehouses. But now that it was full, the creature returned to its lair. Pulling back a manhole cover it dropped back into the sewers, the cover closing behind it audibly but with no one to hear it.
Name: Katrina Katrina jumped off her shoulder sniffing around as she searched around she found on the docks a faint scent of the sewers sneezing a little kitten sneeze 'it's faint i need fresher things but it stinks and not the good fish stink.' she said softly in Amanda's mind as she searched around pausing as she neared one of the warehouses she caught the scent of old blood and the sewer again though this one was a bit fresher she looked back at Amanda and down at the scraps of cardboard shaking her head at how strong the person scent was this was a home...((normally a place some one sleeps their scent gets left on it the strongest it's why some cats will mark on peoples beds because that's where you leave your scent the strongest)) 'Eddy he well he wasn't homeless was he?' she asked in Amanda's mind as she fallowed the sewage scent to the manhole cover

Amanda frowned deeply as Katrina told her about the blood. She didn't smell anything. the other 3 men that showed up with her where on their way back to check in. No one went very far. She went over to talk with them for a moment. Katrina, I don't know yet. I know he was a dock worker. All four of them went to the cars. None of them had a good feeling. I'm going to the precinct to do some paper work and fill out some reports. they are staying behind to finish up. What do you want to do? Amanda though to the Katrina.

She raised a brow at the cats warning. she couldn't help but to wonder if there was something behind her comment. Amanda got into the car and drove off. This time she was heading tot he police department to catch up on paper work before hitting the streets. Tonight she would have to patrol the outskirts of the city. Be safe. she thought to Katrina before she got very far.

The three hunters that were left behind when to go check out the blood that Amanda pointed out. They looked at each other and grumbled for a bit. None of them were sure what kind of monster would only leave behind bits of blood. Vampires only took the blood and werewolves move left a bigger mess. Each of the men pulled out their cell phones and started contacting sources, trying to collect information on what little bit of facts they had to go on. In the meantime it was nearly impossible to stop the press from reporting on the disappearances of the homeless the docks area.

She sighed softly noticing all the people showing up she walked around the corner before looking around still invisible she slowly shifted forms growing her clothing seeming to appear from no where on her body as she stretched. the change in perspective was always a little awkward being so low to the ground normally she ended her spell of invisibility before stepping from her concealment walking back around the corner to see the gathered men she paused as if surprised watching as all three of them where talking on cell phones a little odd in such a place. ((if there is police tap up she isn't going to be crossing it cause that would be illegal.))

One of the police officers spotted the young girl. He dropped his phone and motioned to the other two. All three looked at her for a moment before the first officer headed her direction. "You girl, what are you doing here? What is your name?" He asked. It was odd to find her at the docks and shipping yard. He pulled out a tablet and pen to write down any information she offered up.

Ivan walked down the street making his way to a warehouse he owned for a while maybe a good 4 or 5 years, But of course Ivan was contemplating about buying a new warehouse to expand more of his business. Ivan noticed the noise not to far from his warehouse but did nothing as he came near his warehouse.....The last thing he needed was cops all over his warehouse especially not when he had a few shipments of some merchandise. Now the merchandise itself was dangerous.....It was surprising how many people wanted exotic pets especially the big cats, But none the less he just needed to get into the warehouse.
Ivan getting to the warehouse and opening the large metal door slipped in and closed the door with a scratching noise loud enough to be heard through out the docks, Ivan cursing himself as he stopped and waited to see and or hear a reaction.
Two of the cops looked at each other then in the direction of the noise. The tallest cop stayed with the girl as the other two walked off, putting hands on there holsters. One was a short man with think red hair. The other was slightly taller with brown hair. They both where lean from daily workouts. "Who's there?" The shortest cop called out.

She looked up at the officer cocking her head slightly "M..my name? I well it is Katrina Sir." she said softly "I well I noticed well a commotion I well I come down here to feed the homeless when I can." she said softly "What's going on?" she asked gently
The tall cop sighed as he rubbed his temple. "Girly, you picked a bad time to come and feed so homeless. Now come with me please, I'm taking you home." He wasn't asking really, more telling. He didn't need some girl hanging around his crime scene while he tried to piece together what was going on. And if he let some girl get killed then his butt would be in the fryer for sure.
