Kumogakure Games!
• The Kumogakure games began when, at that present time, the newest Raikage decided that the shinobi of the village needed to have more fun and increase a sense of friendly competition between villages; instead of fighting for power and control. It consists of four rounds spanned over five days to test: Endurance, Teamwork, Detection, and Quickness of Mind. The only prizes come in the forms: Village recognition, a trophy to be held in the hands of the Kage or Satoosa of the winning village, and a feast held in the winning villages honor. Every year it is held in various regions of the Land of Lightning monitored by the Jounin of Kumogakure.
○ Day #1: Kunai Toss
- Two x Two Competition
- Each Shinobi takes up to four chances to strike the Dummy target with kunai
- The range of hits will be determined by random number
- Scores will be tallied up at the end of each round
- Highest Score at the end of all rounds wins
○ Day #2: Scavenger Hunt
- Team x Team
- Each team will solve riddles to go and find the item that they are assigned
- Ranks are won through this competition (ex. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)
- Beware! Other teams can interfere with your search and return
- If items receive too much damage then your team obtains 0 points
○ Day #3: Festival Day!
- This day gives the competitors time to relax and get to know people from other villages
- There will be a nice fireworks display later on that day
○ Day #4: Chakra Mountain Climb
-Team
- This competition takes place in the steep mountains ranges of Kumogakure
- Students will be required to climb up the side of a high mountain facing various natural and some not so natural challenges.
- At higher up intervals, the Jounin (Crew) will be stating what your team might be coming up against
-- Remember it’ll be different for everyone
- If you fall, a Jounin will be ready to save you
- Interference with other teams is strictly forbidden and will result in an automatic disqualification (meaning anything related to attacks/ defense of any kind towards another shinobi)
○ Day #5: Cave Run
- Team
- Teams will be sent into different cave entrances that all lead out to a finish line resting in the Kumogakure Valley (This will be the place they post once they have met the posting requirements).
- The caves can be filled with things from dense fog and water to animals and pitch black regions.
-- Each setting will be different for each team
- You will need to work together with your team to get everyone out safely. In other words: If you enter as a team you leave as a team.
- Once again Jounin will appear to instruct you on the dangers ahead for each individual team
- This competition will be scored based on teamwork and its effectiveness in getting everyone out of the caves and into the light.
• Yes you will be allowed to bring in your other characters at the same time if you wish, but the rule of no interaction between them still holds strong.
• This will be put into place as soon as the last few knicks are worked out for the different competitions.
