Eyphah had taken a short break from his hunts so that he could enjoy a bit of down time that mostly involved him enjoying the scenery, enjoying his Aiskala meat, and admiring the Aiskala orb that he had gotten from the last battle. It really was a pretty thing, wasn't it? Such a bright and beautiful blue, it was going to look amazing in his collection he thought to himself as he starred at his own reflection in its surface. He really felt it, as the fact that he was getting so damn close to his goal. He was a lot stronger now then when he'd started off some time ago, no longer was he struggling to hold his own against the weak Ysali dragons but instead he was now battling it out against all manner of big, powerful dragons the world over. He'd had a battle with every sort of dragon now save for two, the most power two, not counting the Celestial which he doubted really existed. He meant to toughen himself up so that he would be able to face off against those light blessed Aeduan as well as those dragons that shared a tribe with him, that being the Diabi. It was still some ways off though, him being able to fight with those particular bad asses.
To actually find himself in a position where he would be able to deal with those dragons he would need to continue to perfect his skills against the prickly but tasty Aiskala he reminded himself before he pushed to his feet, licking his maw clean from the last bit of blood that clung there. It was time for him to get moving again he reminded himself. If he slowed down for too long he feared that he might freeze to the ground. Best that he kept himself moving, kept hunting, and while he was hunting he had to keep his eyes peeled for a place he could set up a temporary home base. Surely they must have some sort of caves in Aisko even if they were just some sort of ice cave, so long as the lair was warmer inside then it was outside he would take anything he thought to himself as he started along, keeping his eyes peeled for any sign of the ice dragons that roamed this area.
It took him a bit of searching but he finally found a trail of foot prints to follow, ones that led him to a pair of those delicious looking dragons. He weighed up the situation, everything from where they were sitting to how they were sitting, what way they were looking, where the wind was coming from... and then he rushed forward toward their blind spots, taking a quick slash at the nearest one with his sharp, scythe like claws, drawing a surprised roar from the dragon before it whirled around to face him. The Diabi grinned up at the dragon and the tussle began. The two of them were quick to exchange a few blows but soon enough the second dragon was calling out to the first one, seemingly giving advice, and the battle got a bit tougher for the Diabi who refused to back down... and then the two dragons were flying away. It seemed that his tenacity had caused them chose the route of retreat instead of risking either of them getting killed. They didn't seem to think further battle was necessary, something that irked Eyphah like nothing else. Bah! No matter, he would go forth and he would find those two again and finish them off he thought to himself, growling as he moved to fly after them at a rapid pace. They might want to end the battle but the stubborn Diabi did not, he wanted their orbs, wanted the meat, and wanted their defeat to be at his hands!
