Eyphah was grinning in a very pleased manner as he charged forward toward the ones that were there in front of him, the two Aiskala that he had already had a quick tussle with, and he couldn't help but to feel excited. He'd attacked them, tasted them, and he knew that he wanted more. He wanted their orbs, of course, but he wanted to have their meat as well, wanted to get to indulge in the delicious taste of the Aiskala. The best part about eating dragons was the fact that they were normally the top predators, not really hunted for meat by others, and it was something that made sense to him. To get the meat of a dragon was a difficult thing, you had to catch up with a dragon, fight it, weaken it, and then try to chop a piece off before the dragon faded away. It was difficult but it was so worth it to get some of that rare, delicious meat to fill his belly.
As he chased after them he was learning something amazing about this frozen land, something that he loved more then anywhere else he'd hunted, the white snow was glorious! The drops of bright red dragon blood left an easy trail behind that the Diabi could follow, it even melted the snow some, and it made it almost too easy to follow. There was a part of him, the hunter, that said that it being too easy made these hunts too easy, and that he wouldn't learn enough from them. At the same time he told himself that even if he found them to be easy to take down that he would be gathering much needed orbs. The more orbs he got the better, they were vital when it came to becoming a Drakeinian after all. So he wouldn't let the fact that the hunt itself was easy get him down. Instead he would look on the bright side... and the brightest part was that blood that he was following. When he got closer to the two Aiskala that he'd already tussled with he meant to use the snow to his advantage in yet another manner, that being sliding. He meant so slide low, to get a good shot at the vulnerable underside of the Aiskala, and see if he couldn't make them into lunch!
Giving a snarl the Diabi moved to do just that when he saw a good opening, throwing himself forward, sliding along, his scythe claws slashing out at the nearest dragon, spilling that much more hot blood into the snow. He couldn't help but to give a gleeful sound when he felt his hands get bathed in it. When the Aiskala slowed down due to the wounds, whirling around to meet him, he lunged to lock his teeth down on its throat, throwing his head from side to side, meaning to finish it off. As it started to collapse he was quick to lash out with his tail barb, slicing a piece off of the dragon before it was able to collapse. He didn't want to miss out after all on his first meal of Aiskala. When it was done crumbling away, leaving behind just an orb and some meat he couldn't help but to stare, "Damn..." He murmured, reaching out to scoop up the orb, starring at it, in awe of the bright and beautiful color of this particular orb, "You look a bit like Tallulah." He said to it.
Shaking his head, not wanting to think about it or about the missing Merkein again. He had to focus on his hunts, not on Tallulah! Lifting his glowing eyes up he looked from side to side, then couldn't help but to be confused. What the... what? Where did that other one go?! Damn it what was it with dragons and running off when he was finishing one of them off? They always ticked him off by doing such things, taking away one of his orbs like that! He growl and hissed under his breath... until he turned back to the orb and meat he had. He had to look on the bright side he reminded himself before he started forward to where the meat had landed, lancing it with his tail barb, and headed off with that and his orb. He'd eat his meal, rest up a bit, and then he would be on his way to hunting down more the tasty Aiskala.
