The silver lioness laid by the water, her head on her paws and her tail wrapped around her. Her body could be seen moving up and down slowly as she breathed softly. Occasionally she would make a strange movement, dreaming.
She let her dreams fly as it was something she was happy doing at the moment, no one was around and after all she only ever half slept. She never trusted anywhere, not even the place she called her home.

Denge moved carefully through the area, heading for the water. She was more calm than she had been in a long time, and she knew it was thanks to this blessed place. Though she was still nervouce about her stomach, even though Ramses had said she would not pop she still felt it so. She wondered just how much longer she would have to stay this way. Perhaps she could talk to Ramses' mate, hadn't he mentioned that she was about to give birth? Denge idly wondered what happened when you gave birth, but didn't speculate too long.
Up ahead she could spy the silvery lioness, just a little older than herself. She blinked and stopped one pad fall too long, for a twig snapped under her weight. She didn't think it too loud, with the water moving and all as well as the birds and other nature noises... but it was out of place.

Her ears flicked as the twig snapped and though she didn't open her eyes or move for a while she guessed in not too long who it was. "Denge?" She spoke a little strangely as she was still tired.
Moving slowly she managed to stand up and stretch before turning to look at the lioness, she was slightly surprised she had guessed right but at the same time showed no signs of her surprise. After all she always got things right. Her eyes did however flick towards the females body shape, heavily pregnant. Ithi was curious, maybe that white male was the father.

Denge had been on the verge of turning and hurrying away, seeing as Ithi made her rather uneasy. But then the lioness had spoken to her and rose to her paws. She couldn't very well leave now, could she? Her ears perked curiously, wondering how Ithi had known it was her. But that was probably due to her scent and such.
"Er... sorry to disturb you." She murmered softly, gaze flicking over Ithi and then toward the sky. So unlike Denge, the quietness and the uneasiness. What happened to the Denge Ithi had first met? Though I suppose that was when they got off on the wrong paw.

Ithi just smiled, she was tired and she was unusually nice when tired, opposite effects to most. "No its fine, come and drink as I guess thats why you are here!" She pounced up onto a rock near by where she layed down watching the femme. She wanted to ask about the cubs but she wouldn't, not yet anyway. If denge was staying she would have to make the effort of befriending her first!

Denge looked confused for only a moment, before letting out a small breath. She wasn't exactly sure why the other was being nice, but she was thirsty. She headed forward in a slow lumber, tail swaying slightly with each step, her body trying to stay balanced. She leaned down and lapped at the water, it was cooler than the wateringholes you found around the southlands, and rightly so.
After her fill she moved back a little, making the effort to sit herself down. "These days have been going by at such a nice pace.. slow, so that we may enjoy them.." She murmered, half just to fill the silence and half because she wanted to take advantage of Ithi's pleasantness right now.

Ithi licked at her paw while Denge drank, she had found that since getting here it was easy to keep clean so she washed herself daily. She paused as Denge spoke though and tilted her head, thinking before she said anything. "Yes I suppose thats true." She thought about what it was like not having to do much during the day and it being so cool, and the water and, yes it was lovely here. "May I ask what you did since I first met you. I am sorry about that. Things have changed since then I assure you."
She stood up and stretched a bit before laying back down, her eyes on the black and white femme. She had asked the question she wanted to, hopefully she would find out the father of the femmes cubs through it.

Denge got herself comfortable, not watching Ithi but watching the water. Her eyes half shut, but when she heard the other's question she tensed up, something in her mind automatically getting defensive. "I didn't to much." She murmered, a tone of sadness fluttering through her voice. "Though I did learn to hunt." She murmered, trying to make it sound cheerful, but it was very forced. She was actually a very good huntress now.
But Ithi was right, many things had changed. She knew she, herself had changed as well as this lioness, but maybe it was best not to dwell on these things.

Ithi was annoyed at her question not being answered but that could wait for now. Wait, no it couldn't. "Do you know when you donna give birth? If you don't mind me asking. A friend of mine, Laana is pregnant and I am curious, I watched an old friend of mine, Rahima, she gave birth the other day to two males. Was something I have never seen before but quite amazing. The cubs were so small and helpless, kinda cute." She chuckled a little watching the femme still.
Ithi didn't like to let things drop especially when she wanted to know something but she made a decision to let it drop if she refused to dwell on this subject, maybe another day would get her the information she wanted because it didn't seem right now would be a good time.

Denge's dark gaze flicked Ithi's way. "Er, I don't know. I don't know anything about.. birth." She sounded frightened, and rightly so. She didn't know what would happen, except that she could scratch 'popping' off of her list. "So.. does that mean you know about birth?" Her ears perked slightly and her attention was back on Ithi. Actually she was surprised the other female didn't have cubs yet. And a little ashamed at that thought.

Ithi sat up a little, surprised that the femme knew nothing of giving birth then realised she hadn't till she had been with Rahima. "A little, I know that its painful to give birth but nothing to be scared of." She tilted her head slightly and watched the female. She was frightened? Ithi didn't blame her she would have been to. "Rahima knew she was about to give birth, sharp pains or something, warning that the cubs were on the way, then she found somewhere to rest and give birth!" Ithi smiled as she gave Denge all the knowledge she had, feeling proud of herself that she had done something good for once.

That sounded scary though! How could you not be afraid to go through something that sounds frightning? "So I will know when.. when I have to give birth." She was just confirming this, and sounded relieved. It wasn't so spontanious then. But this resting part Denge did not understand.. you rested when giving birth? She guessed she'd just have to ask a former mother.
"Thank you for that information, it eases my mind." She murmered and bowed her head, which was a bit awkward. That was okay though, it wasn't one of the oddest habbits she'd picked up from being around Nyek.

She smiled, "There is a lioness around here, same colouring as me. Mated to Enki, brother to Ramses. She has recently had a litter so she would probably know more about it and Rahima is around as well." She looked up at the sky and back down again to see Denge bow her head. "No need to bow to me girl! I am no better then you are, just a little less fat!" She stuck her tounge out as she was merely playing. She was so strange lately, Rahima's birth, talking with others. She was changing, that was for sure.
She jumped off the rock and drank some water before looking up at Denge, "If you want anyone to help ya out with stuff, I dont mind. I am guessing that bringing up cubs on your own, especially at your age could be hard and tiring, so if ya ever need any help. I am always around here. I love the waterfall!" She smiled and then went back to drinking. Had she really just offered to help someone? Strange.

"Yes, that is a thoughtful idea." She murmered. But it had been a long time since Nyek, perhaps she did not have a long time until she gave birth? She would need to talk with these others, soon.
Denge's eyes widened at Ithi's small tease, and despite herself she chuckled. "Oh, I apologize! And it isn't as if I want to be fat." She chided back, smiling slightly.
She listened to Ithi's offer, and was quite surprised. She'd never seen Ithi this nice, even if she'd only known her a little. "I.. Well thank you!" She murmered, nodding. "I haven't seen the waterfull yet.." She trailed off.

Ithi raised her head again and smiled, "Of course you wanna be fat! Its like the thing to be around here, I swear.. I am like the only femme who stayed skinny!" She chuckled and then laughed more. "Follow me, You can't not see the waterfall its amazing!" She stretched her front legs again, they seemed so stiff today! Her turquoise eyes then looked at Denge and sparkled slightly with the light around them. She was finding Denge quite nice, not like she originally thought of her.
