The moment that he spotted 'his dragon' again he was quick to lunge forward toward it, giving it a few more wounds to add to its growing collection. He was starting to feel as though he were getting better at this, as though he were once more getting used to being under water, even though he hadn't done any hunting while he was still living with his family. He'd been too young to hunt at that time and when he was finally old enough he'd gone forth from the ocean to hunt on the land instead. Now that he was getting used to being back in his natural element once more the felt as though he was slowly getting the hang of this whole water hunting thing. The better he got at it the better he would be able to serve his people though which was a bonus. He and the Peisio were once more more exchanging bites and scratches, both of them trying to also glare one another down... but again it ended in the same manner that it had the two previous times, with the Peisio fleeing in a manner that left the Merkein a little huffy.
"Damn it... why do you keep running off..." He grumbled to himself, teeth barred, tail lashing slowly from side to side before he started to swim along after the dragon once more. Alright, one more try he thought to himself, determined to get his claws in the dragon again, hoping that next time around that he might actually catch up with it that he would be able to catch up with it. He wanted to get hold of some of the Peisio orbs which meant that he was going to have to take some of these dragons down. He needed to fight, needed to win, needed to gather Peisio orbs, and then he would bring them to Eyphah to show them off to his Drakein friend.
