my father in law has been living with us for almost 6 months now and he has a big black boy cat names bear. he didn't want to do cat introductions so he has been keeping his cat locked in his room this entire time, he wont even open a window for him and doesn't clean the litterbox often so that entire side of my house smells like cat piss

well he is out on vacation with his church for almost 2 weeks and hubby and I are finally doing cat intros. btw, the room my father in law is staying in smells horrible, I cant be in there for very long. and he has let his cat just destroy the carpet around the door because he is always trying to get out

cat intros are going decently well. bear has never lived with other cats and my fluffers is used to being the big boss. fluffers thinks he is tough s**t but my baby is declawed and bear isn't. they both yell at each other and try to block each other in the hallways, but bear is really great about not using his claws. he has hit fluffers twice and honestly that's probably for the best, my kitty has a huge ego and needs to learn some humility. no fights so far, and reign just ignored bear

we have been trying since he moved in back in may, its why we are about to kick him out. no matter what he doesn't listen!!!!!! he just says "ok" or "I didn't notice" those are his answers to every single thing we have told him

and just a couple hour ago we were in his room and I noticed my favorite bow that used to belong to my dad right behind his cat's litterbox and had old cat piss on it which caused one of the decorations to corrode a bit. im so ******** pissed! my husband was able to fix it so the bow looks fine now but still! that is my favorite ******** bow!!!!!!!!!!!

even besides the cat stuff my father in law is horrible to live with. whenever he drops or spills anything he just leaves it. I always have to go after him and wipe down everything he touches otherwise its sticky. I cant even keep my kitchen or floor clean for an hour. I know for a fact that small children are less work than this adult man

sorry, after the bow thing im in a horrible mood tonight. he could have asked us to move it to a different room or set it away from his ******** litterbox.

and yes, we will have to replace the carpet in that room because his cat has torn it to shreds.

oh we will! when he moved in we told him this would be a 6 month thing, we are planning on giving him a bit more time but once he gets back we are going to remind him that moving day is soon for him. though knowing him he will pretend to not remember us saying that

I just cant take it much longer. Its gotten to where I hate being inside the house I paid for
