Rolled a four: Water field: Five large platforms float on the surface of the deep pool. Four form a diamond formation around the single platform in the center. While land pokemon can move around on this field, it is mainly built for water-types. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to WATER type attacks.

Lenore walked into the stadium and gave a large yawn. She sent out Elesh Norn before curling up on the ground and promptly falling asleep.
The darkrai cast a worried glance at the girl as she floated down to one of the platforms. Ever since Mephistopheles had evolved, Lenore seemed exhausted. Elesh Norn shook her head. There wasn't anything she could do to help that fact right now, she had to focus on the upcoming battle.

Alexa walked into the stadium carrying her newest addition. He loved to be held and cuddled with. "Okay Pyrrhus time to get serious. We are here to battle... make war not..... love." She sighed. For Pyrrhus had already hopped out of her arms and was doing his best to run towards the sleeping Lenore (who was across the stadium with tons of water separating them).

"Come on Pyrrhus! Maybe you can cuddle with her after the battle! For now focus on the Darkrai!" Alexa called out before hitting her forehead with her palm. Why did he have to be so lovable?
Pyrrhus had finally reached his first obstacle in reaching Lenore: the edge of the platform and thus the water. He looked at it for a moment before deciding it was best to avoid it. But how to get to the other platform (incidentally the one he was aiming for was the one with Elesh Norn on it)? He backed up some and thought about it. Then he got an idea. He curled up into a ball and began rolling around. Once he gained enough speed he shot into the air towards the other platform and the Darkrai.

Lenore shifted slightly in her sleep as Elesh Norn floated out of the way of the darumaka's attack. The darkrai's eyes glowed as a chunk of one of the platforms rose up out of the water and flew towards Pyrrhus.

Pyrrhus missed the other pokemon and landed on the platform. He was so much closer to the sleeping female! He took a step towards Lenore but was smack down with a piece of a platform. He fell to the ground and slowly got up with tears in his eyes. He turned to look at Elesh Norn and wailed. "Whhhhhyyyyy diiiiid yoooouuuu hiiiitttttt mmmmmeeeeeeeeee?!!!!!!!!" He walked toward her with his little arms flailing and tried to beat on her in his little sob fest/temper tantrum.
Alexa could only watch and repeatedly hit herself in the forehead. He was a giant baby.

Elesh norn tilted her head at the other pokemon's inquiry. Was it not aware this was a battle? However, when the darumaka began flailing at her, the darkrai decided it was a simple ruse and floated away, sending another chunk of platform at her opponent.
Lenore continued to sleep peacefully.

By now Elesh Norn was out of Pyrrhus' range. All he could was get hit with the chunk and proceed to flail about the platform. All he did was work himself up into a crying frenzy.
Alexa could only watch in shame and horror. Horror at how long it'll take to train her new Darumaka... shame in how he is acting.

Pyrrhus was hit really hard with that new chuck and stopped rolling about. He let out a loud cry and curled up into a ball. He began to roll around that way and then rolled off the platform and into the air. With him not looking he didn't realize that he was heading straight for Elesh Norn instead of away from her.

Elesh Norn was struck by the darumaka, and she was knocked back. She sent one of the chunks back at Pyrrus as she flew.

Pyrrhus landed on the platform and uncurled just in time to get hit again. His eyes welled up with tears and again he began to ball. Curling up again he began to roll around before launching into the air.

Pyrrhus was hit mid-air and sent in a different direction. He finally ended up on the platform with the sleeping Lenore. In fact he was pretty close to her. He struggled to move closer so he could cuddle with her and perhaps take a nap too. However exhaustion took him before he could move anything but a paw which was held out in Lenore's direction yearningly.
Alexa shook her head at Pyrrhus after the battle, if it could even be called that, ended. She grabbed Pyrrhus' pokeball and recalled him after he fainted. She looked at the Darkrai and nodded. It was a very educating battle...... educating was one way to put it. She then left to go heal her new pokemon and attempted to come up with a way to train him.
