Perhaps the park at twilight was a poor idea as a place to spend time with a friend, but originally it had been much earlier in the afternoon and as he often found happening, Ali had completely lost track of time spent with Lance.
That was how the past year had been, really, since they'd met the previous September. Pulling Lance out of his shell had been slow, careful work (with far too much making him blush) but it had been absolutely worth it.
"Hm. I keep hearing rumors of awful things in the park at night. We should...perhaps pack up?"

Lance blinked up at the sky, pushing back slightly on the swing he had been sitting on. Had it really become this late?? "You're the one that wanted to come here." The blonde said, swinging gently. He had to chuckle just a bit, his height made this awkward. "We can go if you're worried about it Ali." He said as he dragged his feet along the ground to stop and stand, the swing chains rattling lightly. He offered a hand to the brunette on the swing beside him.

It had been a few weeks since Leto's... Change. And she still had yet to tell a single person besides Veer about it. Instead of going to her past, she decided that maybe, just maybe she could move forward and create new Senshi to their cause. So she spilled her secret to the Guardian Cat that was residing in her apartment, and asked her to go for a stroll with her. After powering up to her Eternal form in her apartment, she scooped the cat up into her arms and slipped through her mirror, stepping out into the brisk cool fall air in the park. Carefully putting Abby down, she ran her fingers over the familiar fabric of her fuku's skirt, taking a deep breath. "Alright Abby... Time to find me an unawakened Senshi. Time to give me some purpose again." She laughed, "How ironic would it be if I had been awakened in the park and now it's coming full circle?" It hadn't been in the park, however. After being chased down by a youma through the streets of downtown DC, ********* had awakened her into a White Moon Senshi. Now here she was, out on an attempt to steal every last Senshi to the side of Chaos.

“I knew there was a reason I liked you.” Absinthe mewled and coiled for a moment about Leto’s ankles. “I like this park, I’ve met good people here.” She added with a thoughtful look. “I bet that there is a formula that would elaborate on some fantastic formula, SCIENCE!” She nodded and then lifted her chin, twitching her whiskers and started off in one direction, hesitated and started in another before looking uncertain. “mmm…this way.” She announced and led her princess forward. ‘Her’ being a relative term perhaps, but she LIKED Leto rather a lot.

"I like this park too. It's where I usually patrol..." She followed after the cat, who seemed to know exactly where she was going. "I was almost killed here once," Leto added with a laugh. What would Albireo and Pomona have done if it had been Princess Leto they had encountered instead of Eternal? They would've been the ones left in a crippled state instead. She shook her head to rid herself of those thoughts and continued through the park following closely behind Absinthe. "You know, I have no idea what I'm doing. Do you think it'll just come naturally?"

“Hmm” the cat looked thoughtful at the idea of near death. “Oh, well it’s a very good thing that you weren’t!” She nodded. “That would have been inconvenient after all.”
She twitched her little bob of a tail, it looked more like a bunny than anything really cat like, amusing perhaps.
“I think it will, I think it must really, its like being a cat, you just kind of know what you’re doing.” She smiled as only a cat could, Cheshire like. “My Lady, I know you will do the PERFECT thing.”

Leto laughed, "Inconvenient indeed! And I hope so." She stopped in her tracks when Abby lead her to two boys on the swings. She watched them for a brief moment, then crouched down to whisper to the cat at her side. "One of them?" She pointed at the blonde and brunette that stood up off of the swings, hand in hand. She would have to somehow lure them apart if that was the case... That would prove to be interesting. She didn't even notice that she was chewing the inside of her cheek, her fingers crumpling her skirt ruffles nervously. Could she really do this?

The cat hesitated, her tail twitching from one side to the other for a moment and she blinked her rich green eyes at the question like it were the strangest thing you might have asked, ever. Like even if you had asked if it was raining in decimals and slices of pumpkin pie it would not have been so strange.
“Well… both.” She said after a moment. “My lady, please stop chewing your cheek, it does very little good to poff you with paws unless I put claws out, and if I do –that- I won’t get any pizza later, and then we will BOTH be cranky, plus the inside and the outside of your cheek will hurt and its not very princesslike at ALL.”

Both. That made Leto's eyes light up as if Absinthe just told her the most amazing news in the history of ever. Her lips split into a huge grin and she scooped Absinthe up into her arms to squeeze her in a hug. "You are gonna get so much pizza later you won't even know what to do with it all!" And with that, Leto's nerves disappeared and she was ready to lay on the charm... And well, if all else fails she would just throw the two of them into a mirror and do things her way instead of on their terms. She stood to her feet, rolled her shoulders back and made her way over to the swings. "Evening boys," she offered the two of them a smile while scratching Abby behind the ears. "Enjoying your night?" [Time to get you two back in XDDD~]

Alistair's first reaction to an unfamiliar voice, female or not, was to step between it and Lance (even though that probably wasn't entirely intelligent, given that Lance was a) about six inches taller than him and b) trained in self-defense whereas he was definitely not.)
He felt like his wariness was justified - though she was small, her clothing was incredibly unusual, and she had wings. Jet-black, feathered wings, though they were small.
"Evening, miss," he said, his tone polite. "Well enough, so far. And you?"

Lance blinked, glancing from Ali to the unfamiliar girl. "Uh... Hello." Lance grabbed Alistair's arm. If anything went down, Lance had to make sure Ali was out of the way. This girl was definitely strange. She had strange little wings... and looked like she had been living in a jungle. ...Or atleast would be at home in one, with all that camouflage she was wearing. He had to bite back a quiet snort. Of course Ali would have idle conversation with someone he didn't know. Typical Ali.

"You hear that, Abby? Only well enough..." She shifted the cat so she could wrap around her shoulders like a shawl. Okay, and she probably looked ******** crazy talking to a cat, but that was neither here nor there, at least not in Leto's mind. Her gaze immediately moved to watch the blonde grab the brunette's arm protectively and that made her smile turn into a bit of a devious grin. Head tilting to the side slightly, her gaze moved back upwards to the much taller boy. "Do you really think a tiny girl like me, all alone in the park at night is going to hurt you?" She began to twirl a strand of her hair between her fingertips, laughing quietly. Okay, she realized she was probably being really creepy- so instead she let out a breath and cut to the chase. "What would the two of you say if I said that I could make your night go from well enough to absolutely amazing? Out of this world, in fact?"

"I don't exactly trust that you can't, miss," Alistair said. He wasn't exactly staring, but he had noticed that small size aside, she did not in any way look weak or helpless.
His eyes narrowed a little. "What exactly are you implying?" The emphasis on "out of this world" was particularly interesting. He remembered the strange people at the convention, some of whom had looked...well, rather like Leto, just in white instead of black.

"Force of habit." Lance replied, eyeing the white cat. He wondered, vaguely, if that one talked too. Like the one he had seen with Persephone. "....You're like the people I've seen... Order and the Negaverse.." Or whatever the hell it was Natron had called himself. Just where as Persephone was white... this girl seemed to really like the color black. His eyes once again fell on the cat. "...It talks. Doesn't it?"

Leto raised an eyebrow at the blonde's knowledge of the Senshi, Negaverse and talking cats. She reached up to touch Absinthe protectively, her eyes narrowing slightly. Was he really just a civilian? Abby wouldn't have given her false information... He had clearly been talking to some people who had given him too much information for their own good- but maybe Leto could use that to her advantage.
"She does," she replied simply. "And she has told me that it's your lucky night, because it's not that often that you get to receive an offer like this. An offer to be more, to do more." Her right hand moved up and down to motion at herself. "To be like me. Sans miniskirt, of course."
She winked.
