With a grunt a tail sliced the air and lodged into the side of a tree trunk. With another it came out, leaving a reasonable gash. Bandit examined the edge of his tail and luckily it wasn't left too blunt. He had spent the entire morning sparing with branches and trunks. It was now noon and the sun was starting to feel hot on his fur. He retreated under the shade of the tree he was hacking at and flopped down into the earth. He wiped the sweat from his face so it would not burn his eyes. He let out a sigh. It was a day where nothing was happening, and as much as he liked being alone, he wished something would come along.

Yuki just so happened to be nearby at that moment. Why so? He had been on his way to check on his secret garden he had made here. It didn't quite feel right being here without having a small garden like the one back at home. The 'Prince' paused in his steps as he heard the harsh thunk of something. Was someone chopping down a tree fr wood? A bought of curiosity hit him -- And he followed the sound.
Soft-Purple eyes glanced around as he looked for the source of the sound. That's where the rather unique-looking noodle came into view. Blinking a few times, he approached the other. Though honestly, the others tail did instill some fear into him.
"Good evening." He greeted politely, giving his signature prince-like smile.

Rainbow eyes scanned the Noodle in front of him. Instinctively his tail shifted, the point aimed at the chest of the other. He greeted him, yet Bandit remained silent. His eyes narrowed and he rose from his spot, tail still poised to strike. Bandit was awkward when it came to greetings. "Can I help you?" He didn't mean it to sound as harsh as it did. It scared off more people than he cared to admit.
He continued to examine the noodle. His smile almost seemed false to him, on everyday mask. The other was well dressed and took note of the white mouse on his collar. He didn't seem to be of harm, but Bandit was defensive with everyone, save kits.

Then there was the tail that had concerned him so, pointed right at his chest. A light gasp escaped him as he stepped back -- His kind expression falling to a shocked one. Perhaps he had simply startled the other or some such.
Ah I... There is nothing to 'help' me with, really. I am on my way somewhere and just so happened to see you. No harm in saying hello, is there?" Yuki's Princely demeanor returned as he tilted his head to the side.

The tail remained where it was, then dropped to his side. He had a feeling the one before him was rather nervous. "I suppose not." Bandit continued to watch the other. He was still a little tired from his previous workout. "Where could you be heading to all the way out here?" As far as he could remember there wasn't much out here.

Yuki gulped a bit, though he was quite relieved the other had dropped his tail to his side. I was simply heading off to -- My home." He lied. Though his home was out this way, or well he believes it is. The cliff where Cookie's house for her noodles DID lie this way, right? Oh well...
I am terribly sorry if I interrupted or startled you in anyway."

"I see." He shook his head. "You weren't interrupting anything. I was just finish my training for the morning." He nodded toward the tree with several gashes on it. "As for startling me... No. I am defensive with everyone I meet. Force of habit. I apologize." He was now relaxed. He for sure knew this Noodle meant him no harm.

"No need to apologize." Yuki stated with a small nod. He was just glad the sword part of the tail hadn't hit him and harmed him in some way.
He turned his head to look at the tree with the gashes in them. That poor tree hadn't stood a chance against the other. Then again he really shouldn't feel bad for a tree, but he kind of did. "Training for what, If I may ask?"

"My 'profession'. One must be quick, strong, fearless and ready at all times." He gave a firm nod. "I spar against trees so others do not get hurt." He put a paw over one of the gashes in the tree. "I don't care for it... These trees provide me with shelter. They can't fight back." He sighed deeply, deep down he wanted someone to really train with, yet he knew it would be difficult.

It made little sense to him... Having a target that didn't fight back. That wasn't how one got better at combat. "I see, though wouldn't it be better to have someone who DOES fight back?" Besides, that was how he had learned to fight, with the help of another.
His eyes looked to the others tail. Surely it was hard for him to find one who would spar with him though, what with a tail like that. Unless he were to find another who was a skilled swordsman or had a tail similar to his.
"I can only assume you sharpen your tail daily as well, as a tree would dull it out after a while."
