However I came here to try to change that and become less um... boring and hopeless as a character?

Yuki listened carefully. This certainly had caught a bit of his interest. Another real princess? How, er... Well, whatever the right word for this was. "Might I ask where you are from? It's quite alright if you don't wish to tell me." He gave a small chuckle.
"I honestly feel a bit... Nosy, right now. My apologies."

Io looked up and wondered if the male in front of her would believe that she was actually not exactly from earth. Before when she had tried to make friends and eventually got to everyone had laughed at her and shrugged her off. She briefly wondered if Yuki would do the same. However no one had talked to her this much either and he did seem quite curious. It wouldn't be too bad if she told him right?
"No its quite alright. Its actually nice to have some one that actually is talking with and bothering to really ask questions. Well, I'm from one of Jupiter's moons actually. There are tons of different civilizations on each planet. I come from one of the ones on Io the moon I was named after."
"and dont worry you arent nosy at all I promise" Io tried to reassure waving her hands.

The man blinked as he listened to what she had said next. Purple eyes grew a bit wide at what she had said -- Jupiter? This woman was from Jupiter?! Was... That even possible? Jupiter was in space, and one could not breathe properly in space.
Though if she really was from Jupiter, perhaps her respiratory system had been built differently to help her breathe in such a place.
Are you really from Jupiter?" He asked in a gentle manner, trying not to offend her. He believed her yet... Didn't?
Then again, such a thing was a bit bizarre. As was his own secret he was keeping.

Io looked over and waited for the ax to fall. Well he hadn’t burst out laughing which was nice although the eyes going wide did worry her. Then again if you thought your solar system didn’t have any life other than your own planet. She supposed it could come as a shock.
Io slowly nodded and looked over to the side briefly. “Yes I must admit I am, well from one of the moons. I’ve heard it’s a bit hard to believe for people who live here.” She stated resisting the urge to use her foot to scoff at the ground.
“Unfortunately I don’t have some other form to show you. All I have is the standard magic which I hear a lot of noodles on this planet have as well” She really did wish she had proof, other than straight out kidnapping him to a portal and showing him around the place .
Some how that just didn’t seem like a good way to make friends.

Io smiled. “Thank you. Most people I try to tell just laughed at me or even threw things at me. One started dragging me off to some horrible place” which is when she frankly stopped really telling people about it.
“Well I try to fit in as much as possible now. Baring dragging people back home to show them they’re not on earth it’s just easier to try to fit in” Her bracelets jingled a bit. “so are you normally from around this area?” it would be boring if they just talked only about her right?

He gave a small nod. So, you've taken others to Jupiter? How, might I ask, did they breathe?"
Oh, a question for him? with a small shake of his head, he looked off to the side. No, I am not. Though I am normally from Earth, not some other planet like you.

“Yeah they thought I was crazy It seems” Io stated, which the general consensus was for the most part. However she did take the conversation shift. She didn’t think of it too often, after all from their view point they were just trying to make their streets safer.
“Well just one, the guy who tried dragging me off to that place, it was the only proof I had. He seemed to breath just fine. Our society I guess or at least from what I learned on the place lives in what you like calling a terrarium because we lost the atmosphere a long time ago. I breathe the same air you do most of the time. If your curious and ever want to go I can take you. It’s mostly like here only we still have kingdoms and things run on magic instead of electricity.”
Come to think of it, she didn’t think to see if he liked talking about himself, she knew there were a few types out there and while she had yet to really find something wrong with someone. It was respectable to want your privacy as well. “Well that’s no too bad; there are lots of interesting things on earth. Everywhere is just so different. It’s nice to see.

It was sadly understandable as to why one would think her crazy for saying she was from one of Jupiter's moons. This made him feel slightly more nervous for reasons that were ever so obvious to him. Though he knew he shouldn't worry too much about this curse of his. It's not like anyone will look at him and now about it. And as long as he was careful enough around the opposite gender, all would be fine... Right?
Though there had been ONE other noodle who seemed to know or... Well... No, now's not the time to think about that. There's a different topic on hand paw.
"Surely he believed you after that, right?" Yuki stated, giving a small chuckled. It would be crazy of the other to NOT believe Io after being dragged off to Jupiter.
Yuki put a paw to his chin, giving it a thoughtful tap or two. "I wouldn't mind going to Jupiter sometime, I... Suppose." His curiosity had certainly been hit with this. And seeing as the air was the same as Earth's air -- It wouldn't be too bad would it? So long he was careful, of course.
Now if he were to go back home to Shigure, Kyo and Tohru and tell them about him going to Jupiter, they would surely not believe him. Save for Tohru. She'd believe almost anything, really.

“Well I would hope so” Io stated. In fact when she had dragged the man around to see all the different things because she wanted to really be believed this time, he had kept asking for more. Ending up in a mini adventure around her kingdom, all the while dodging her family who wanted her to come back home.
“Since I’m pretty sure he still lives on Io” she finished. The man had helped her escape back to earth after all, so before going she had used a little bit of her status to set him up, after making sure he really didn’t have any family back home.
“Well let me know any time you want to go, basically all it takes is a magic spell and I can teleport back any time I want.” She just didn’t because there was just soo much to learn about earth.
Well then there was the whole thing about her mom looking for her. She knew her mom carried and was overly worried because traveling around is what ended up killing her father, but she wanted to learn so much about the world around her. It was just so different than the books she read in her room. Meeting new people and seeing everything had taught her so much and she wasn’t even close to finishing learning about different things.

"So he had decided to stay and live there himself?" It certainly sounded like an interesting thing, living on another planet. Though he, himself, wouldn't stay there.
He gave an understanding nod. "Alright, perhaps on a day where I'm feeling adventurous, I'll ask to go." Honestly, he didn't really feel like doing too much at the moment.
Magic was one thing he knew little about. He had heard of it, and seen some magic from others. But nothing too extravagant.

“Yes I think he just felt tired of everyday life here on earth or something like that. He just wanted to stay and he helped me escape from my family when they wanted to take me back so I didn’t question him too much” Io admitted.
She was pretty sure that Fate would have them meet up again when he wanted to go, it had a way of doing so. Of course now the conversation had been batted back into her court… she wasn’t too sure what she should say next.
However before he could really come up with anything more her stomach growled a bit causing a light blush to cross her cheeks. “hmm you wouldn’t happen to know any good places to eat around here would you?”

Family... If it wasn't for his own strange and hurtful background with his family, he'd probably question her about hers. But he didn't want to bring about a topic he wasn't willing to talk about.
He was glad for the other topis tossed out there. Yuki gave a small nod as he looked to the door of the shop. "There is one place I know of, though I have seen and heard of many places to go eat. But this one place just so happens to be my favorite. They have really nice food. Though then ame escapes me for the moment." He stated, scratching the back of his head.
"Would you like me to take you there?" Cue Princely smile!
