To get straight to the point, my 14 years old cat is farting from time to time. Now, I have no idea if this is normal for a cat and if not, what should I do about it. It smells really bad. Any advice?

What brand of food are you feeding? What sort (kibble, wet, raw) as well? Are litterbox habits good, poops normal?

Try adding FortiFlora to the wet food once a day. Worked wonders on my 18 yr old!

Roman used to, when he did the weird wool-sucking. I think it was the excess air he took in when he did it made him have gas.
When I switched his food (and tossed his stinky suck-blanky), all that went away. He eats Taste of the Wild, now, instead of Meow Mix.
