xxxxxPast Background Information: Sinclair was a middle child of the pureblood family in Tinworth known as the Leagues, a family of moderate financial wealth built up and a decent enough reputation, with a long history of Slytherin family members beyond his mother who was a Ravenclaw. Yet, Sinclair had became the black sheep for one outstandingly true reason by the time he was seven: it was obvious the child was a Squib. His family, feeling it was wise not to throw out their own son for appearances sake chose to send Sinclair to a muggle boarding school of a good reputation and financially support him living in and hopefully doing decent enough in the Muggle world. If they were lucky the child would eventually quit needing their support at all, or so they reasoned. Thankfully, Sinclair quite reasonably agreed he wanted as little to do with his own family and anything to do with the muggle world early on, and only appeared at his hometown of Tinworth during the summers until he turned eighteen. After that he went on to study at Cambridge, taking various odd jobs, to need even less financial support than before and began to study medicine. In the muggle world he fully integrated and went on to become a highly successful plastic surgeon in London. However, his permanent refusal to deal with the wizarding world was interrupted by one major decision. By chance he ran into a witch who was eight years his junior that he had watched for a couple summers in his late teens. Not expecting to meet a witch in London England he never thought to question that she was a muggle-it made the most sense.
The witch, Cara, continued to lie including roping in a few friends to validate her lie and in the end Sinclair and Cara married, Sinclair still under the impression Cara was a muggle. It wasn't until the honeymoon that Cara even bothered to mention the fact she was a witch and from a far more hateful family than his own towards those without magic. In the end Sinclair chose to stay with her though he isn't happy at his wife's insistence of keeping connections with her family-and his, though, at least Sinclair's own parents adore his wife for giving a squib a chance to be 'half-way reputable' as any success in the muggle world is irrelevant in their opinion unless you can perform magic. There is also the fact Sinclair and Cara has had two magical children-which led Sinclair in hopes to having one 'normal' child-to decide with his wife to have another child, Leah Ruby League, who will show signs of magic even earlier than their other two children. Though, Sinclair has more or less accepted the fact even if he had never married a witch but married a muggle instead there was always a strong possibility at least one of his children being magical.
In the summer of 2029, one of Sinclair's worse nightmares was realized: he lost his wife. Cara League was murdered. While he did find out the details of the death he decided to keep the information from both of his daughters to protect them. Since the death of his wife an already strained relationship between his in-laws and himself has formed. This is no thanks to the fact he indulges Cathaline's whims (which don't necessarily go with "proper pureblood" behavior) and their fear that Leah won't have a proper raising considering he is hiring squib nannies at best and he is a "poor example of a father" according to the Averys.

xxxxxPast Background Information: Cara was the youngest child of the head of the Avery family-an old pureblood family surrounded by unconfirmed rumors of fairly questionable purist activities. However, Cara never noted anything worth confirming the rumors. She was generally a surprise to the family and was ten years the junior of her closest sibling. However, Cara easily became the favorite of her parents, though, she was often pawned off to be watched by others during her childhood, including over a few summers having her watched by a squib child from another old pureblood-but a bit more reputable-family the Leagues, who was eight years her senior. Cara easily became enamored by him, Sinclair League, but they went their own ways-Sinclair pursuing Muggle education and cutting ties one by one with his own family and Cara going on to attend Hogwarts.
At Hogwarts Cara was quickly sorted into Slytherin like the rest of her family had been for generations along with a distant cousin from the branch family of the Avery family tree, Acacia Persephone Chaisty who was the same age. The two became best friends. While Cara took Muggle Studies like all her siblings as if to show the family had no lingering thoughts of muggle superiority. While, Cara cold probably have done better academically if she had put in more time in studying, but instead felt that it was far easier to merely date various guys through her academic career who excelled in certain subjects academically who she could convince to give her short cuts to doing well in the classes she felt the need to boost her grade in.
In the end Cara graduated Hogwarts with fairly good NEWT scores and moved to London where she lived with Acacia for some time as Cara took on a job as an obliviator in the obliviator office of the ministry. It was in London, approximately a year after her graduation from Hogwarts Cara first recognized Sinclair League by chance. Sinclair didn't recognize the much older Cara, but she did and decided despite the fact he had a girlfriend at the time and didn't want anything to do with the wizarding world she would convince Sinclair to become hers. She used an elaborate plot of setting up 'chance meetings' with the help of Acacia Chaisty and her boyfriend Edwin Ryans, and lying about her occupation and the fact she was a witch, claiming to be a muggle till Sinclair and she actually married. In the end Sinclair didn't divorce her despite the ongoing lie and accepted it reluctantly enforcing a steadfast 'no magic in his presence' rule. As time went on Cara eventually became the Head Obliviator, had a son and daughter with Sinclair, and recently had a second daughter with her husband.

xxxxxPast Background Information: David's parents are both from pureblood families. The difference between the two is that his father was a squib and the League Family had a bit of a less questionable history than the Avery family. The Leagues did not disown their Squib son and gave him the resources to succeed utilizing his own intellect in the Muggle world and as a Muggle. There eventually, David's father because a Muggle plastic surgery. Eventually he met a witch, eight years his junior he had known when he was younger, who had been sorted into Slytherin. Sinclair not recognizing Cara Avery when she was an adult just out of Hogwarts. He believed Cara was a muggle and the two started dating-Cara's childhood crush. She had pulled a very elaborate bolstering of her story of being a muggle. Eventually Cara and Sinclair married which was when Cara told her husband she was actually a witch and knew who he was all along.
David was their first child and began to show signs of magic at an early age. His father reluctantly accepted that someday his son would go on to Hogwarts-the school he could never attend. In the meanwhile, his parents enrolled him in one of the most prestigious pre-preparatory and preparatory schools in all of England.
Once sorted into Ravenclaw-partially due to his adamant feelings in not wanting to be placed into Slytherin-David has successfully annoyed most of his classmates and peers and claims he is the 'most hated Ravencalw' and argues that he has more Slytherin traits than Ravenclaw. Regardless, he has slightly mellowed out in personality, is currently dating a Gryffindor in his year, and was named the Conditional Second Heir of the Avery Family and must follow to a set list of restrictions and rules in regards to that position.
During the summer before his 6th year he chose to take the last name of Avery accepting the naming of him as future (conditional) heir of the Avery family.
His summer before his last year at Hogwarts was eventful to say the least. While he got permission from Leonette Mitchell's father, his girlfriend since before his fourth year at hogwarts, to marry Leonette, and Leonette (thankfully) said yes, there was a bleak note to his summer as well. His mother was murdered protecting an albino muggleborn from some insane blood purist (and David has a good idea who that may be, but had the grace not to mention such and not to give any hint to his sister Cathy). David had returned to his father's home for the last couple weeks of that summer from his own home in Greenwich, a gift he received for a combination of his 17th birthday and Christmas the previous year, to help his father with Leah and arrangements.
(Summer of 2030): At Hogsmeade Station before he could board the train, Neo-Deatheaters attacked at random. He stayed to help heal various people and luckily managed to escape without any major injuries to note, beyond his fiancee's younger sister Grace being injured and having to spend the first couple weeks of the summer in the hospital, he could say he had a good summer. His application to St. Mungo's to work as a healer specializing in magical diseases was approved and he has started his training as a healer, and more importantly (in his opinion) he was wed to Leonette during the summer at the Avery Manor.
A little less than a year into his marriage with Leonette, he received the exciting news of Leonette being with child. Though it wasn't exactly planned or necessarily expected this early, David is thrilled. Very much the doting father already he is constantly talking about the child his wife is expecting, despite the occasional judgmental look he receives from Tanya who feels he may be rushing into things. David, though, having planned his life since before he was six, and to include children, merely feels that his adult life is going as expected.
(Autumn 2031) David's father was murdered leaving him to become the guardian of both of his sisters. Cathy plans to move out to League Family Home in London when she graduates. Soon after the death of David's father he did welcome his first born son Christopher.

xxxxxPast Background Information: Cathy was born to Dr. Sinclair and Cara League. Her father is a plastic surgeon who owns his own clinic in London and is one of the best paid in his field. Her mother always claims to work in banking but never discussed her work. Her parents and her older brother would once or twice a year visit her parents hometown for a couple days, but Cathy was always left with a nanny during those times. Cathy learned never to question it. She knew she probably should, but accepted that her family must have had their reasons. Besides that her life was fairly ordinary and comfortable. She lived in a very posh townhouse in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in London and was given access to the best education, including tutors/nannies her parents hired to teach her foreign languages at Cathy's request. Her older brother, David, attended Wetherby School for Pre-Prepatory School and Prepatory School one of the best schools in England-an all boy’s school that even some of the royal family members have attended-and Cathy attended Queen's College Prep School.
Things changed some when David the summer after he turned eleven had it announced to her that he had decided to enroll in the same boarding school their father had attended-Ashby's-to finish his education before going on to attend university. This was of course a lie-David was going to Hogwarts since he was a wizard. However, since it was believed Cathy was a squib since she had never shown any obvious signs of magic, her family chose to keep the wizarding world from her. During that year, Cara League lost a leg-the story being she lost it from being hit by a car, but the story was never talked about much. However, Cara and Sinclair seemed far less tense around each other after this event. David meanwhile, when he returned from the summer became if anything more withdrawn than usual.
All the while, Cathy never noticed odd things around her like the fact her cups of tea stayed warm for hours on end or that one time when she dropped one of her mother's sculptures onto the wood floor and it should have shattered the object landed safely and nothing was broken at all. Cathy merely assumed this was all a fluke and that it wasn't all that odd.
In the end she was wrong-as was her family. Cathy was in fact a witch. It was realized when Cathy got an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. After the letter, her brother volunteered to take her shopping for her school supplies in a place called Diagon Alley. All the while failing to mention that their extended family was fairly hateful to anyone who wasn't what they consider 'pureblood' and could in fact do magic. The extended family she and the rest of her family is most connected to is her mother's side which is the Avery Family.
School Years: Cathy has had a relatively successful time at Hogwarts so far. Though she is hardly the best in her class when it comes to magic she has done well in classes such as history of magic and ancient runes. After joining the quidditch team in her second year she has become what she considers herself a star quidditch player. She was eventually named vice captain and became captain of the Hufflepuff team during her sixth year at Hogwarts. Cathy also was named prefect. While she has made some long lasting friends such as Danica and Iris (who she began to date in her fifth year after an impulsive kiss from Iris), she has also lost friends due to her inability to be grounded at times. After her mother was murdered saving her friend Elijah the two grew apart as Eli felt, rightly so, that Cathy could not be trusted to find out such information. During the summer before her seventh year her long term crush Jean confessed his feelings to him. Iris, her girlfriend at the time, encouraged Cathy to go after him and Jean and Cathy began to date and Iris stayed best friends. It was during Cathy's seventh year that tragedy once again struck her family. Her father was murdered by Maxmillian Chaisty on the orders of her grandparents on the Avery side as Dr. League was seen to be a bad influence on Leah League and to prevent Leah to go astray of being a proper pureblood girl like Cathy had. After Dr. League's death the Averys were turned in by Wendy Chaisty for their deeds and their stock of illegal dark magical items. Cathy League (by muggle law) will be under her brother's care till she turns 18. She plans once she turns 18 to move to London and return to the League family townhouse where she will reside with her father's remaining living cat and her own cat.

Sinclair was hoping for a non-magical child to raise as an ordinary muggle child (though the child would technically be a squib) and hoped for it all the more when he found out that his daughter Cathaline actually could do magic unknown to anyone until she actually got her Hogwarts letter. CHILDHOODI live with my father and my two sisters Mira and Grace. I always had a thing for sports be it muggle sports or wizarding spots. My father has always been fascinated with muggles so it’s no surprise that he wanted us to get involved in the muggle world. I’m a pureblood not that blood matters to me or my family but I’m a lot like my father. I like adventure and being out and about. He was placed in Gryffindor much like I hope to be.
Taking the time I do both gymnastics and soccer and love it. Aside from all the muggle things I love I also love flying and plan on playing quidditch when I get to Hogwarts. I used to spend a lot of time cooking with my mother and when my sister Mira was old enough she joined in. However it didn’t last long because just two years after that my youngest sister Grace came and when that happened, my mother passed away. Without her we are left to do what she taught us on our own and hopeful I can teach Grace everything she taught us.
Coming to Hogwarts this year I'm worried that my sister's will have trouble dealing with each other without me. I've never been away from my sisters and it's kind of knew for me. I don't know how my father will handle things now that I'm not around but I hope he takes more time off to spend time with them he needs to be there now that I'm not. Despite my family I'm excited to be attending Hogwarts and can't wait to go to my home away from home.

That's what the sorting hat said to me the day I was sorted into Gryffindor. I asked to be placed in Gryffindor, what I didn't know was that it would be the best place to be. I spent my time throughout Hogwarts playing Quidditch which I became captain of, and involving myself with various clubs like the dueling and music club. As it turned out I made a lot of friends in my house and in various others. From Tanya, Echo, and Elsie to Theo, Dani, and Ronna I was close with all of them.
Though none of them can compete with a Ravenclaw named David. I met him before I even got on the train my first year. We had an awkward start but once second year rolled around something happened between us. We fell for each other, it started with the Valentine's dance, rumors being spread around that we were dating. At the time we weren't but it soon happened, come the following year. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing but it was either I became his girlfriend or nothing. I wasn't about to lose the closest friend I had.
I soon found out after that, that a Slytherin girl in our year Sapphire Snow liked David too. I think that was the first time I'd ever been jealous. Then I got the pleasure of meeting David's grandparents which was... stressful to say the least. I remained polite despite the things I'd heard and things managed to go smoothly. I admit I prefer David's parents. During all of that my two sister's Mira and Grace were both sorted into Slytherin and Ravenclaw respectively. Lucky for me Mira became friends with David's second cousin Wendy who so far has had nothing bad to say about her. Oh and my cousin Dakota was also sorted into Ravenclaw.
Come my final year at Hogwarts David asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes, I love him after all. So we became engaged which Mira didn't like and decided to blow up at me for it. However she eventually calmed down and was able to tell me exactly what was bothering her. Once that was off her chest at least she was happy for me. Though I guess with good news comes bad when I found out David's mother was murdered trying to save someone. I didn't take it well I hope I can be there for Cathy and Leah when they need it.
POST GRADUATIONJust when you think my final trip on the Hogwarts Express will go like always, Neo Death Eaters show up and ruin the whole thing. My sister Grace gets injured badly and if it wasn't for Ashley Yaxley I don't know what I'd do. After the chaos and Grace was out of the hospital, David and I got married. I'm officially Mrs. Leonette Avery and I couldn't be happier. Getting a job relocating house elves less then a year later I found out I was pregnant with our first child. Things couldn't get any better.
2031 : Sinclair League was killed at home while Leah was with David and I. Despite the tragedy we were blessed with a baby boy and have a wonderful house elf. Leah will be staying with us and I only hope I can be a good mother to both her and little Christopher.
2033 : After attending Tanya and Echo's wedding on October 31, 2032 David and I discussed having baby number two. Sure enough we were pregnant not long after. To my surprise our precious baby girl Jessica was born a few couple weeks early. Better then late I suppose. It will certainly be busy around our home for a while, now that Christopher has begun running around the house and attempting to climb everything in sight. Though I'm sure we'll manage with Nori's help.
A year later my little grasshopper is just as active as ever. It's sometimes hard to keep up. Perhaps if I can get them into the kitchen it'll help keep him busy and out of trouble. Until then I'll just be grateful that Jess isn't a handful.

■ CURIOUSI'm always looking around and contently trying to figure things out. Once I figured out how hands and feet work I was off to the races. I can’t stay out of anything, there’s just so much to see and explore. If only I could just figure out how to get away from the grown-ups. I thought crawling would help then I thought walking might, neither did. I started with crying and now I just like making loud noises. I like using my outdoor voice even if I’m indoors. CHILDHOODI was born in November. My mummy and daddy are pretty great. I can’t complain. I've figured out the walking part, graduated to running sort of. It's more like falling in between moments of running because I keep tripping over my own two feet. It took me a while but I figured out the whole talking thing. I can tell you that I really like trying to climb things, even things that are bigger then me (which is like everything). Once I prefect that then I’ll work on flying.
A few years after my birth I found out I was going to be a brother. I thought I already was one? I don't get it. Must be I get to be an older brother. My new baby sister came home in the summer of 2033. She was kind of boring at first. I started by poking her when she was small. She squirmed which was kind of cool. At least she did something... Now I find I can get a reaction from her by pulling her hair. It's a little more exciting than just squirming. I'm more adventurous then my sister or my cousins. I wish I could find someone like me.

I don’t fully understand it yet but it makes pretty sounds which I enjoy. I also like watching my mother's bird, it too makes nice sounds. I wonder how it does it. ■ QUIETI don’t make much noise. Compared to my brother you wouldn’t even know I’m there. Sure he's older but you can’t get much thinking done with him around. I don’t like loud noises so I like to keep things quiet. Screaming only leads to more screaming… at least I think it does. Besides quiet is better for reading books, I might not understand all the words but I'm working on it. ■ STUDIOUSI like books. I can’t read but I like the pictures and when my family reads to me. I’m careful about the world around me. I may be young but I don’t touch things I’m unsure of. The gears in my head are always turning. I imagine when I’m older I’ll have great attention to detail.

CHILDHOODI was born which I'm pretty sure was planned. Although I'm pretty sure I came a little early. I have an older brother who doesn't act like the older brother. I think he just likes bothering me because he thinks it's funny, although that's not proven. My parents are wonderful, I'd like to say I'm daddy's little girl but I can't speak for him. One of these days I'm going to find out where he goes every day. I know he leaves to go to some place called work but I don't know where work is... Come to think of it I don't even know where mummy works... Oh I almost forgot through family reunions, I met my cousin Ben he's pretty quiet which I think is one of the best things about him.
