The air above the city felt refreshing after a long day of playing make your father happy. Little things she had to do as a human were forgotten when she became a senshi and took to the roof tops of Destiny City. Up here, the world below didn't seem so important. Sailor Phact, the young Senshi of Doves, loved that she only had the birds for company instead of the people below. Not that she disliked those humans but sometimes a girl needed to escape. Strangely enough, her visitors up here were normally the doves and maybe a few of the skinnier pigeons that could get up this high.
Most days, when she planned on putting off the responsibility of scouting the city for members of chaos until it got dark, this was where Phact came. It had become her little hide away from the world so much so that she had started bringing a ‘treat’ for those feathered companions that appeared happy to see her now.
Today Phact had brought not only some bread for them but also some true bird seed. She had started to worry about them bloating on all the bread so after a quick trip to the store, she had picked up something basic for them. If people would give it to their pets, it should have been good for them as well. At least that was the logic she used for herself.
”I’m glad you all enjoy.” Phact smiled as she spread some more seed on the roof before picking her head up to a soft breeze. ”And are willing to share your space with me.”

It wasn't often that Sailor Celemorrow took to the roofs of Destiny City. He rarely did anything which resembled patrolling and his preferred method of travel was by mirror. Tonight, however, he was planning to investigate something he overheard some customers saying about a string of muggings in the area. That brought him to the rooftops, an excellent place to watch the streets below. No one would miss a mugger, surely. He could energy-drain a mugger and no one would complain. As he kept watch, however, he felt the now-familiar sensation of an agent of the White Moon buzzing about the periphery of his consciousness. Creeping across the rooftops, he discovered the origin of the aura: a white clad senshi feeding pigeons. Feeding pigeons?!Celemorrow announced his presence with all the grace he could muster. "You shouldn't do that."

The voice and the presence hit Sailor Phact at the same time. She turned around quickly towards its source and found something rather strange to her. There before her was a male giving out the aura of a member of chaos but by his attire, he looked almost senshi? Well that was very different from the last chaos agent she met that looked like a war hero.
But what he said made her lean her head towards the side. She had stopped dropping more seed out so below her, several of the doves were looking around. "And why should I not feed them?" She asked back towards him with as much elegance as she could gather in an outfit she already felt silly in.
Verithe Love the energy draining mugger idea

"It creates dependency. The birds will forget how to find their own food." That was enough to go on, right? Celemorrow was certain that, if he were feeding wild animals and being told this information for the first time, he would cease immediately. Nevermind the fact that he rarely recognized his stubbornness or took it into account. "And then they'll neglect to teach their young where food can be found in nature." Perhaps the argument was a bit unnecessary when it came to pigeons and doves which had already acclimated themselves to human communities hundreds of bird-generations ago.

Sailor Phact had to stop and smile at this message. He had a point. But with certain creatures, she feared his message was far too little too late.
"You know, in a way I both agree with you and disagree." Phact knelt down and reached out her hand. One of the doves pecked at it before hoping on her fingers. She really had spent way too much time up there.
"Creatures like these and most other ones that live in the cities have adapted to live because humans feed them and provide for them. How many generations of this one bird do you think has lived on human waste alone?" Her eyes looked back at him. "We have already trained these animals to find food that we provide. Would they not already starve if we stopped?"
Maybe she was pointing out the over stated but still, if someone was going to say they forget to find their own food, and was not talking about a tiger or lion hunting them down the the wild, Phact felt she needed to counter. "Would you be happier to see a large chunk of a specie die out?"
Might have been over kill but oh well.

"Given that the domestic pigeon is not indigenous to the Americas, it would probably be for the better." She wasn't stopping. Why wasn't she stopping?"Continuing to feed them because they are already dependent only allows them to overpopulate in a region they don't belong."

His response was not what she had expected and made her look towards him with a rather confused look. "By that logic, anyone with European blood should not be here as well."
From birds to people my how her mind worked. But it was true. If he was going to argue that something was no indigenous so it should die, she would be happy to point out a bigger picture. "Because we are not from here but ships brought them over as well. And here we are today."
Shrugging as she looked back at the birds, Phact shook her head. "So how do you propose we stop feeding something that lives off our trash as much as others feeding them?"

"True. Perhaps we should just kill them all..." Celemorrow glanced over the rooftops at the city below. The comment was about the invasive Europeans, not the pigeons, but could be taken as either. Turning back to Sailor Phact, he continued, "But we're not them. Not Europeans. Not really. We don't belong on Earth at all and we need to go back to the stars where we belong." Sailor Celemorrow was beginning to sound like a broken record, repeating the same speech to every White Moon senshi he met with.

Red eyes followed his own gaze over the edge of the roof top down towards the rest of Destiny City. People went about their lives without ever even noticing they were being watched. She had to wonder what they would think if they just happened to look up.
"I disagree with you there."
Phact turned her eyes back towards him and watched his face. If he was that picky about feeding the birds, she wondered how he would take her next line. "We were born human. We were all born on this planet. Why? I do not know. But if we were meant to be back on the stars, we would already be there, would we not?"

"Is a tiger meant to be in a zoo? Is a parrot meant to be in a cage? We were sent here for the sake of a war which will destroy this planet if we don't leave."

Blunt and too the point. It made her just lock eyes with him as she spoke with a rather even tone. "Say we were sent her for war. Say we did return to space. What stops us from not destroying all of space?"
Her voice lowered. "And why can we all not just live in peace! We once did!" And she meant both now as humans and before...if there was a past life.

Ugh! This one is broken. "We were at peace when we were in our proper places; the stars where we belong." Sailor Celemorrow was nearing the end of his patience. He began plotting the most advantageous attack.

Sailor Phact could sense his growing annoyance and she realized right then and there they had very different thoughts on the matter. And that was when she finally asked "Why would a you want to fight another senshi?"
Still he felted of chaos. Of dark, emptiness that she longed to avoid. But he looked and appeared like the senshi she had come to know. Still she asked as she took a step back from him and his annoyance. "Were we? How can we know for sure? Maybe we were already fighting one another. Maybe we were at peace. But who knows the truth?"

"I will fight anyone who insists on continuing to be a danger to this planet. If you choose to be so willfully ignorant of the way things are, you will leave me no choice." This was going nowhere and Sailor Celemorrow's patience had run out. His stance had become obviously aggressive. "You shall be purged."

There was no words for what Sailor Phact was thinking and feeling at the same time. There was a senshi standing in front of her willing and wanting to smack her around? Oh she just had the best luck these days.
Visually rolling her eyes, Phact shook her head and began back walking towards the edge of the building she was on. "You are insane." She stated bluntly for she now understood logic was not going to work on this one. He felt too strongly that she was an enemy. Well, she would give him something struggle with.
His aggression gave her cause to react. Bird seed in hand, Phact threw the entire rest of the bag towards the man, hungry birds following.
Using the distraction, she jumped back and took off across the roof tops.
