In here you will find information on all current and past Fundraising projects, as well as links to get you to each one. Hopefully that way it will be less confusing to find a way for everyone to help us raise funds. If you have any questions about anything to do with fundraising and don't feel like PMing Anonypanda, feel free to ask them here as well.

What does the Fundraising Committee do?
We do a lot for the ball. We are the go getting team that travels gaia in search of funds and partners for each and every annual ball so that every room, service, and other committee's will be able to pay for whatever they need. Think of us as producers in the film industry, we gather and control the funds to help things run smoothly and make sure we don't go over budget.
Yes, but what do you DO?
Oh, yes, I knew that's what you were asking. Mainly we stay in touch with the various shops that are sponsoring the annual ball and are working hard to earn gold for us. We also run games and create new ideas that will hopefully be profitable for us.
Why 30 Million Gold?
Because when I dream, I dream big. Last years goal was 28 million, but it had slow and patchy spots. I don't plan on slowing down, EVER -sips coffee-. So I believe we can reach a goal of 30 million easily as long as we keep working at it. Coming up with idea's for in season, and out of season events.
But what about last years gold, don't we have left over gold?
Yes, we do have leftover gold, but what's in the past is in the past. It's there and I'm going to think of it as more of a back up plan. I'd rather not rely on it, or even think about it so that we can work hard and meet the new goal. We are at 0 right now and will need 30 million for THIS ball. If I fail at my job then we can worry about that gold, okay?
You mentioned In season and out of season events, what are they?
In season event's are the events that we will be hosting every holiday or event that gaia has. We will be at every event to make sure that we get our name out to the people of gaia, and hopefully raise some gold while we do it. Out of season events are the one's that will be running non stop, all year long to continuously earn us money, like shops and games.
Some have over heard you mentioning funding the 13th annual ball, what is that?
That's my personal goal really. Wouldn't it be nice to not only raise enough gold for this ball, but the next one as well? It would be easier on the Fundraising committee in the future, and create a sort of "buffer" that would hopefully eliminate any money problem we would have. The guys in the next committee can raise money for the 14th ball, and so on and so forth.
I've forgotten a question, haven't I?
Yes, yes you have. You don't have the foggiest Idea of what it was either, but man have you tried since you started writing this to remember. Oh well! End of the FAQ's for now!

Yea, I have a few questions that I don't know where to post this, but it has to do with Fundraising...
1. What is the goal for 2014 Ball? Because I will donate but it will not be anytime soon since I'm dead broke atm emotion_awesome Like it might be a couple of months before I can even think about donating. Answered found the right thread for this, I was looking for a quest bar instead of just regular text my bad!~
2. Can I sell prize items instead of just giving them away? Examples: Flynn's Booty for if the theme is pirate, or Return for Valefor if it's school theme.
3. Can you add my quest thread to the Annual Ball? Even though it's not roleplay related I understand if the answer is no. But what if I donate like ... let's say 5Mil or something then maybe can I get some recognition to my quest thread?

Quest bars are much more of a hassle in my opinion, but I can set one up later if people really need it.
2. Sell them for what? Gold? Are you thinking of starting something up for the fundraising or just gifting items to the mule? If you want to give items to the mule that's alright, I'm pretty good at selling on the marketplace.
3. Uhh, I guess that's what the chatterbox is for, you should be able to add your own thread if you want, but that may be something you want to ask pinkie. Or do you mean like an advertisement within the ball?
sorry if i'm not being more definitive, I've had a day full of paperwork and naps.
