Although tonight Avior didn't really want to power up, he decided that since he was out anyway, he might as well. His hunt for more members of the Dark Mirror Court was turning out far better than he had expected, and their ways were just so very tempting to him. They were nothing like the other Chaos related members he had met; he had yet to even encounter someone from their faction that had any real hostility to him because of what he was, who he was forced to awaken as.
Today, however, he just took a break atop a rooftop not too far from where he had come out of the woods on his way home from fishing. It wasn't the highest place he had ever been before, but it was dark, and he could not be seen from so any angle. It was pretty busy around here too, with people coming and going around him. The boy felt a deep appreciation for the store below him. After all, his most precious friend.. He had met the boy in this very video rental place. Certainly this was a place that he wanted to protect. And at the same time, he could feel the signatures around him, and if anything was Chaotic, he could simply hop down, off to explore who it was.
But not right now. No, right now was time to enjoy his sweets. Just before powering up, he had gone inside the store below, purchasing a rather large amount of candy before hopping up to the roof and settling in. No reason for him to be out her on an empty stomach after all.

Avior wasn't the only one who found himself reluctant to done his sailor suit and take the streets. It was already a month in to the school year and Sailor Vespa felt like he already wanted to throw a bag over his head and be done with it. This was his senior year of high school and he had a feeling in his gut that it was going to be a doozy. Already was going to be pretty hectic, given that graduation would be just around the corner soon, but now he had these confounded Senshi duties to put up with.
Once his homework was done, Vespa took to the streets in search of energy to collect, and while he wasn't the most eager or willing, or capable, he was out there nonetheless. Tonight, he was a worker 'bee', seeking only to collect energy for his queen and nothing more. He was hoping not to become the soldier bee, but given the Order aura that blipped onto his radar, he had his doubts.
At first, he was considering just letting bygones be bygones. After all, it wasn't a worker's duty to seek trouble. However, when he realized where it was coming from, he had no choice but to investigate. It was close to the video store he and his brothers often went to, and more importantly, where he met his friend Isha. He couldn't risk his friend being harmed by the enemy!
It was because of this devotion that Vespa found himself on the same rooftop as the White Moon Senshi, and he gave a spat as he immediately recognized the Senshi that threatened the video store. "Y-you!? What are you doing here?"

It wasn't entirely surprising that there was someone who was going to shop up. Heck, it wasn't even that surprising that someone showed up while he was sitting down, enjoying his Sour Punch Straws, as luck seemed to enjoy disturbing him during the most inopportune times. Avior WAS surprised, however, that it was THAT particular senshi! The only corrupted one he had ever met. And though the boy spat as soon as they saw one another, he simply smiled at him, popping another candy into his mouth.
"Honestly? Waiting here. Waiting for someone to come along. Reminiscing about friends and happy times. Oh, and of course, stopping for a snack. What are YOU doing here, friend? Not targeting children this time, I hope." There was no sarcasm in his voice at all, in fact, he felt rather light, especially seeing that the boy before him had not changed from the last time they had met. But Avior, he was far stronger than before, and now this one posed no threat to him at all. Or at least he was just going to assume that.
"Okay, that was a little mean, I'm sorry. Look, I'm not up for fighting tonight. I thought we left on good terms, so no need to get all violent, right? I've been looking for chaos people to talk to because something's just not right, you know? But I doubt you really want to talk about it, huh? You can go about your way, and just forget you saw me, go drain some bad guys or something, and I won't interfere, promise."

Though Avior may have appeared friendly and harmless, Vespa refused to be fooled by his happy-go-lucky appearance. He was a Senshi of the White Moon Court! He was an enemy! He was simply biding his time and Vespa simply knew better. Despite how he harmlessly ate at his candy, Vespa kept a keen eye on him, despite the buggy appearance of his visor and mustache, he was the embodiment of serious business.
"Yeah, you're just sitting there alright, but how do I know you're not planning something sinister?" Vespa stomped his foot into the ground, feeling that the other Senshi was taking him nor this war as seriously as he should have been, and Vespa didn't appreciate that at all. And then to add insult to injury, he dared call him friend? "Don't call me that! We're enemies, and enemies can't be friends! And... and no, I'm not! I felt bad about doing it before, why you have to rub it in?"
Yes, Vespa was mad, but before he could strike against the Senshi, he was attacked by an unexpected apology, and it worked wonders in forcing the corrupted Senshi to take a step back, both physically and mentally. What was he going on about? What was there to talk about? It wasn't enough for him to let to of his anger, but it was enough for him to lower his fist, at least. "Well... I can't just go about my way and pretend I never saw you. That'd look bad if a superior found out. But... what you want to talk about?"
Talking was Intelligence and Infiltration's job, but Vespa recalled there being something mentioned at the meetings that there were other duties expected of them. Maybe it was time for him to try a different tactic, or approach? He gave an impatient huff. "Okay. Talk!"

"Hey, keep it down.. You don't want someone from downstairs to come up here, do you?" The stomping worried Avior just a bit. This was an old building, who knew how strong or thick the ceilings were. "Do you have to be so angry? Don't you ever get tired of it? Seriously though, I'm not doing anything wrong, just sitting here and enjoying my candy. If you want some, take some. Just relax, okay?"
"I was thinking recently. More and more about this so-called war. I'm still just a kid, in my mind. I haven't even graduated high-school yet.. I wonder if you have either.." Another handful of brightly colored candy straws reached his mouth, silencing him for a moment as he pondered what to say next. How could he put this in a way that didn't sound like he was giving up.
"I'm so sick and tired of getting attacked by the Negaverse. Since I last saw you, I've seen people ACTUALLY die. No joke, hanging from nooses off the edge of a building. That wasn't stealing energy, or starseeds, no, it was straight up murder. No one should have to watch that, and yet it happened over, and over, and over. And in the end, even a White Mooner like myself ended up having a hand in killing someone. I don't want to end up dead. But now, I feel like not matter where I side, it won't even matter, someone will ALWAYS attack me." His words became softer, and he nodded to himself slowly, as if reassuring what he was going to say next was a good idea.
"So I was thinking.. I don't want to stay aligned with the White Moon court anymore, but there was no way in the world I am going to join the Negaverse.. Then, like an angel swooping down with wings as black as coal, I met someone who introduced me to something else entirely. The Dark Mirror court. Have you heard of them?"

He wanted to snap when Avior asked him to keep it down, but he wasn't too proud to admit that the senshi brought up a good point. Isha could have been down there, but just only him but definitely others were downstairs, and he wasn't quite in the mood to get others dragged into the crossfires. Especially when it was obvious that he didn't want to fight. Still, it wasn't like he could just take a seat and chat with the enemy, could he? Wasn't that against the rules? So, he planted both feet firmly on the ground, and he gave an annoyed and angered huff as he explained. "I'm not angry all the time. Just when I'm around my enemies."
He didn't sit down and he'd refuse to do so, but he did offer him an ear. Not that he would believe his lies, but still, perhaps he would have dropped valuable intel? Besides, if they weren't going to fight, and he wasn't really doing any harm, what else could Vespa do? He answered his question immediately, but there wasn't anger in his voice, merely cautionary defeniveness. "None of your business if I graduated high school or not."
Then Avior went on to talk about his run-ins, and Vespa didn't like what he was hearing. No, not because someone was talking ill about his Negaverse, but because he could not deny these accusations. He may not have witnessed what Avior personally witnessed, but he had seen the Carnival. He was part of the Carnival, and though he did not kill anyone, that... did not make him any less guilty. He wasn't sure what to tell him, or what he was allowed to tell him, so Vespa said nothing. But his discomfort was clear to see, and he looked away during his rant, feeling bad that he had nothing to add. Except a bitter sigh, "It's war. It's... going to happen one way or another. We're just soldiers."
Like he needed a bitter reminder of this? It wasn't Avior's fault, but he simply didn't want to drag either of them through that mess. So, he wanted to drop it, and he allowed Avior to continue his rambling, catching his attention when he mentioned the Dark Mirror Court. He gave a scoff, "Well, duh I heard of them. We were allies at some point. What about them?"
Vespa knew of them, but he knew nothing about them. Perhaps Avior could enlighten him?

"What exactly makes me your enemy? What made you turn to the Negaverse? I HONESTLY don't even know what the heck 'm supposed be doing as part of this organization! All that I know it that I was attacked by some little thing called a Youma, this random cat comes up to me and says "oh, hey, you're a magical boy! Fight them!" and vanishes before I could even say "What?". And since that time, I've been alone. Who is it that I'm supposed to be serving? What EXACTLY am I supposed to be DOING. We have some 'queen' apparently, but I have never seen her. I don't know if she even really exists! How am I to have faith to her! And even worse, What does my start, my little, itty bitty rock in the sky over six hundred light years away care about some stupid rock caught in the orbit of planet Earth? So where exactly should I be in all of this?"
He couldn't stop just all this uncertainty, all this irritation from leaving him. And he had been telling anyone who would listen about it. It was true, what was even the name of this 'queen' he was supposed to serve? Couldn't he just be somewhere without all of this conflict..? Avior looked up at the boy before him, giving him a small, contemplative smile, before reaching into his bag of candy, grabbing something else out of it.
"That's when I learned of the Dark Mirror Court.. They hate this war too. They know that all of the negaverse hates people like me because we don't belong here, and they recognize this too. All they want to do is convert us White moon Senshi to their court. And.. And then they want to create a new world, maybe on another planet that has been abandoned due to some reason or another, where all of us senshi could just live at peace.. Wouldn't that be wonderful? That's why.. That's why I honestly think I want to become one of them.."

The answer to Avior's question was very simple to Vespa's mind, and the look he wore was one of 'you're joking right'? "Because you're of the White Moon Court and I'm of the Negaverse. And I never turned to the Negaverse… they turned to me."
He didn't necessarily want to talk about his awakening. It was very personal, and very embarrassing, and Vespa didn't want to give the Senshi any inkling that he might not have been as willing to join the side he was on, especially after finding out about the hangings and brutal acts of murder. That wasn't what Queen Metallia told him to do… unless the officers received different orders than the Senshi? After all, there was a lot that he, as a Senshi, could not do and information he was not privy to. As these troubling thoughts ran through his head, he listened to Avior's tale, and he couldn't deny just how much he didn't envy him. At all.
"From what I was told, your Queen is hiding and we're just here to make sure she either stays hiding, or destroy her when she shows up again." Vespa wasn't too happy to admit this next part. "I'm not told a lot, just given orders. In the Negaverse, you're not suppose to question your superiors, merely obey. But then again, that's because we have a Queen, and one that I've seen with my own eyes."
Not that he'd tell Avior about Metallia. That was treason! He was never told to tell others about her, but that was just common sense to him. To try and draw attention away from that, he brought the subject back to Avior, and this fascination he had with the Dark Mirror Court. He had known little to knowing about the Dark Mirror Court, but with the way he was going on about them… it certainly had a nice ring to it. Perhaps he had made a mistake in joining the Negaverse? No! Queen Metallia and the General-Queen Apatite told him that they were a liability, and who was he to deny it? "They're probably filling your head full of lies, just like that guardian cat did when he or she awakened you. Our Queen said that we couldn't rely on them anymore. What makes you think you can trust them?"

"See, that's something I never understood. An organization attacks another just because they are different. It doesn't matter if there are even children there, because your beliefs are just SO very right, and there is no sway in the matter. There's no room for compromise because the other faction is just wrong. " He shook his head a bit, sighing. "I can't blame you for any of that. You simply follow orders, like a good soldier should."
"Don't call her my queen! My planet did not care for some little.. Little speck in the sky! Why would we even care, if we just ended up being hated for being on this planet in the first place?" For just an instant, Avior's expression changed, and he near snapped at the other. "How can you have such faith in YOUR leader then? How do you know your head isn't filled with lies and sweet words while they use you to steal and murder people who know nothing about some war that is started because of a single individual?" Maybe at this moment he even considered giving the boy a nice punch across the face, it would serve him right to just assume that all White moon senshi need to be destroyed!
"The Dark Mirror Court is the only place I have found any sort of comfort in. They don't want us to die, they want all of us senshi to be able to live and thrive somewhere where there isn't someone trying to terrorize us into submission. Conversion, not death. I'd offer up my very own planet to see their dreams come true." Not that he had gone to visit his planet yet.. For all he knew, it could be entirely unusable..

Vespa gave a spat, but he figured that would have been the closest he'd ever get to a compliment from the enemy. "The fact that your Court enlists children to fight for them is just wrong. Maybe not you, personally, but really, they're children. They shouldn't be in this war at all!"
Not that Vespa really wanted to attack them and he wasn't sure what he'd do if he ran into a Chibi Senshi, but with any luck, he could continue avoiding them at all costs. He already felt guilt-ridden for even THINKING of hurting children… actually hurting them? He didn't want to think he was capable of doing such a horrible thing, even if they had magic and were working for the White Moon Court.
And then Avior snapped, and Vespa had to cross his arms to stop himself from wanting to attack him. But he put a lid on his temper and tried to hear him out, feeling extremely uncomfortable with the other Senshi's doubt. If someone from Infiltration was here, maybe they could have lured him in, but this wasn't a fate that Vespa wanted to force upon anyone. Not even his most hated enemy. Which… Avior was certainly not.
"Don't you dare talk about my Queen that way, just because yours isn't there for you! My Queen sides with the Earth and seeks to protect its people, and though I may never truly be worthy as a Senshi to serve her, I've repented for my sins! Don't take that out on me just because your Queen abandoned you…" And now he was angry again, but before it could go any further, he stopped himself and gave an angered sigh. "But, right, she's not your Queen. Still, you have no proof against Queen Metallia, while I have seen what the Moon Queen did to the people of the past. So, hardy har har to you!"
It was a small victory and a fragile one at that, but Vespa had so few that he'd take it. When Avior brought up the Dark Mirror Court once more, he took it as a welcoming distraction, even if he found himself pitying the poor fellow. "Look, if you think they're telling the truth, then go to them already. Just… hand over your planet and be done with it, if you're truly faithful to them and not a Moon Queen that could care less about her subjects. What are you waiting for anyway?"

"Repented for WHAT sins? You hate yourself because you exist, and you must flock over to some woman who CLAIMS to care about you? It is not OUR fault we are senshi. It's not OUR fault that we came to our planet, it was a force we could not control, and those who hate us just because we exist can go suck a duck!" He rose to his feet now, coming closer to Vespa. If he were any taller, he'd be looking down on him, not trying to be intimidating, but just to show that he was serious in his own feelings.
"How immature, going 'hardy har har'. In the end, you have nothing left to say, huh? I bet you are just as confused as I am. Maybe instead of staying dedicated to a queen who wants to KILL all the senshi, you should join the Dark Mirror Court as well. Will they EVER really accept you. Even if you are their ally, you're still a senshi, no matter what. In the end, I bet they will turn on you, and you'll become another death chalked up to this insanity! The only reason I'm even waiting is because I still have things to do before I convert over! I'm not going into anything blindly! I'm hardly that foolish!"

Vespa snapped, watching as Avior got close and feeling slightly intimidated by the sudden act of aggression from the normally upbeat Senshi, but not once backing down. It was foolish to think that the two of them could talk, but that was alright for Vespa. Even if he had intentions on switching over to the Dark Mirror Court, he was still an enemy, and Vespa would not be seemed a traitor for the Negaverse for talking to the enemy! "If I am hated by them, it's because I did something bad to deserve it, and the fact that they're willing to take me back… I should be considered lucky that they were willing to take me in. At least I'm not left to my own devices, like you!"
And he wasn't going to overlook that crack about Queen Metallia, and he spoke through grit teeth as he seethed, "And even if she doesn't care about it, it's better to have someone there who doesn't care, then no one there at all!
"And out of the question! If Queen Metallia and the General-Kings and Queens of the Negaverse deem them a liability, then joining their ranks would be just as bad as me going to the enemy!" Vespa added with a shout, his anger at a boiling point and his lid about to completely flip off. The problem was that he suspected Avior had a point, but what could Vespa do? He had seen from Alkaid and heard from other Senshi in the Negaverse feel the same way, but could the solution be so simple? Could he just switch over? He didn't think it possible, and he didn't want to be deemed a traitor for the notion ever once popping up in his head. "I've had enough with you and your lofty ideals! This is a war, and until you join the Dark Mirror Court, you're my enemy. Simple as that!"
That was the only warning that Avior would receive, before Vespa curled his fist and went for a strike, fueled with blinded rage and lacking any real precision but holding all of the conviction of a soldier that didn't want to talk anymore but to fight. For the Negaverse, that's all he was good for. Fighting. And he would not let anyone take that away from him.

"You are blind. As blind as if your own eyes were stabbed out by the very queen you serve! To be a sin to simply exist, is that what you really think?! Then until the day you die, you will be a sinner, and there is no way to wipe yourself clean of such a thing! You might as well let yourself soak in acid!" Avior really did want to be this boy's friend, and had hoped he'd listen a bit more, but he could not let himself be talked in such away! He would not attack the boy, it was not in his nature to do so, but oh how he wanted to just finally wrap his hands around Vespa neck, until he would finally stop and listen.
Luckily, he did not have to wait for his chance to do so. The punch came at him fast, but it was sloppy, easily blocked from his most recent training at close combat. He slipped past the punch grabbing the boy's arm, and letting the boy's own momentum roll him over his shoulder, causing Vespa to land on his back.
"I thought you were different! You were willing to listen, and yet you attack me because I am who I had no choice but to be, and I FINALLY allow myself to speak freely. Get up, I dare you. I won't hold back this time!"

Vespa wanted nothing more than to fight this Senshi, if only because that's truly what felt natural to him. It was what the Negaverse wanted him to do. Attacking the other Senshi was easy. Fighting, though he knew he lacked the skills and prowess that others had, was easy for Vespa. So, in truth, when Avior threw his insulting words at him and threw him into the ground, though painful, he was relieved.
Finally, something more comfortable and familiar to him. Despite the pain in his back from the blow, this was oddly welcoming for the Senshi of Wasps. "You thought wrong!"
With that, he forced himself up to his feet, despite the stabbing pain in his back and how it'd get worse in the morning, and he lunged at Avior. He knew this would have been painful for himself, but that was acceptable to him. He deserved it, as punishment for what he was. It was oddly fitting for him, to suffer this way, but so long as his enemy suffered along with him. "Vesperian Scout Flight!"
Sailor Scout Attack: Vesperian Scout Flight Sailor Vespa apparently has forgotten the difference between bees and wasps, but this attack will still sting quite a bit. He holds his gloved arms out, palms upright and from his palms comes a small cloud consisting of twenty wasp shaped yellow and black energy. It will swarm everyone within a four foot radius and when it makes contact with the flesh, the opponent will feel what can only be described as, well, wasp stings. Once the attack as hit either flesh, clothing or anything of resistance, however, it will ‘pop’ and disappear and if left not hitting anything, its duration lasts five seconds before dissipating. Can use twice during a battle. + Will pop and leave a stinging sensation on the opponent; does not penetrate clothing (will dissipate upon contact) + If they don’t hit flesh, clothes or other forms of resistance, the stinging will last 10 seconds + Affects everyone (even teammates and himself) in a 4 foot radius around him; meaning that Vespa may point them in the direction they need to go, but attacks indiscriminately.

There was no way for Avior to avoid the little wasp like energies, and they came at him, seeming to aim in the small space of skin on on his elbows and towards his face. Instinct told him to swat at them, but the pain that came with each little contact did not hurt nearly as badly as when the Negaverseer grabbed his starseed, shoving his hand right into his chest merely days ago. It could not distract him, not now!
He lunged forward, his hand reaching to grab the murky green tie that rested against Vespa's chest, trying to use it to pull him forward. His other hand was poised upwards, going in to punch the other as hard as he could in his face.
