I found my cat is pretty good walking on a leash. I was just wondering if my cat was a weirdo or not? Is this normal or did I get a cat who thinks it's a dog?
Also is it healthy if I take my cat out on a leash or should he stay indoors?

Wether its healthy definitely depends on if he has had all his shots, and obviously that you watch him and what he gets into while on the leash. But my oldest cat, when she was younger, LOVED going on the leash smile she'd roll around, eat grass, browse. She really did love it. As long as the above precautions are taken care of, I'd say its just fine c: Cats all have their own definitions of normal lol

I've been thinking of buying this cat tie out for Roman, I keep seeing it at the pet store and I really want to try it...
But no, I've never leash trained. I've put a cat on a leash with a harness before, but he just rolled over in the grass. He was a strictly inside cat, and seemed to enjoy it, regardless of whether we did any walking or not xd

I take both of mine out on leashes whenever the weather is nice. I don't really walk them and all they want to do is lay in the grass or in my lap while I read on the porch

Both of mine are leash trained. smile Its way out of Freyjas comfort zone so we dont normally do it with her but Mister Loki likes car rides. Its easier vs the carrier and he comes with me on Saturdays to visit the Bookmobile.
If you think your weird, I think Im definently stranger. XD

Both my cats are leashed trained and will sometimes go on "walks" by this i mean they will walk around our court then climb into the car for car rides.
