PLOT IDEAS
Epcot Illuminations: The Monster bash sounds awesome. Like we could have the host of the Halloween event be Dracula or a female version of Dracula, have the purple people eater and others like that as well. They are all invited to Dracula's mansion persay and then there (I feel like we could do some sort of plot kind of like clue) where we have some NPC guests disappear and it is up to the guests to try to figure out who is making them disappear. We can hold a game as well, where guests roll the dice (2 dice), if any get snake eyes, they become the 'target' to disappear next, so the other guests will then try to protect the 'target' from disappearing.
Spottedteddybears: As for plot, I like both Epcot and Eran's idea, but I thought I'd pitch this one out as well.
This is kind of like a combination of the two ideas. Maybe there's this "monster king" guy around. Since these monsters are young and rebellious, they somehow upset the big guy [maybe the dark and light sides get into a big argument and almost blow their cover] and he punishes them by making humans (NPC characters) disappear. And then we take Epcot's RNG idea, yada yada.
Eren Jaegerbomb The monsters all celebrate Halloween just like normal humans but rather than it being a ritual to worship Samiain so he wont attack them and because the veil between life and death is thinest, like the humans do. Its the Day that EVERYONE can see them, including the humans, but since its Halloween they believe that they are just people with Epic Costumes and all their powers are just optical illusions or a tick of the light.
These monsters that we're rp'ing are all what would be considered 'young' to their species and want to rebel by going out and meeting humans and other monster that they're not normally allowed to acciate with, because they have different idels to their own e.g. Light and Dark dont get along and such.
Madame Mae: Oh man, I am still too new so I am sure I am going to mess up something ;x however I would like to play in the Halloween event as well, so I will try to help with the pretty great plot you guys already have going.
I was thinking something like when NPCs disappear, they could be killed and turn into ghosts, similar to the kind that hang around on Harry Potter, or even the gaia event a few years back, but I came to a dead end here, so I'll just leave this bit in case it is useful for other ideas.
Maybe this is a special Halloween because of some planetary alignment, curse or prophecy? Possibly the monsters from both sides have to work together to stop something crazy from happening, and all the disappearances are related to some ancient evil coming back?

Monster from all over the world and galaxies gather for this year Monster Emmys an award show that is taking place for not only celebration of Halloween but monsters of all kind.
It is broadcast all over the monster realm where monsters show off their latest outfits, dates, and abilities. There are other smaller categories that monsters can be nominated for awards such as scariest, most grosses, sexiest, cutest, friendliest, most creative in killing etc.
Even though some are not fond of one another they are all looking forward for the King of Monsters award and all have the same goal in mind. To make sure last year’s Monster King doesn’t try to cheat his/her way in being crown again for the fifth time.
But can they put their differences aside and try to work together with one another so the current king won‘t be crown a sixth time?

It's beginning to get close to Halloween and strange things have been happening, like Floor Number 13 appearing in all building's with an elevator, the building may not even go up to 13 but it is there, it's even been on the news as who ever goes up to Floor Number 13 will not be coming back down until after All Hallow's Eve.
Floor 13, what lies behind the mysterious doors of floor 13, Fog waft's in as the door opens to reveal a Luxurious Mansion, the gates rusted and vines growing over the top of them and the wall, holding them open. The soft Yellow of the Lights spread through out the fog, brightening the area where they stay but the shadows, they seem darker than ever.
Walking though the gates, tufts of grass have sprouted up through the cobbled path, leading to the door which creaks open with each new attendant, a soft melody plays from somewhere in the back of the mansion.
A small puff of smoke appears in front of you and once the smoke moves away it shows a decorative envoluope, in which the letter inside reads.
"Welcome to the Mansion of the Between,
you have been cordidnally invited by the King of the Creatures, ________, to participate in the Monster Bash. He wishes to inform you that any killing or maiming will result in a stay in the mansion's dungeon until the party is over. And that this party is being held in celebration of his term as king and hopefully to convince guests that he should run another term as their king.

It doesn't matter if they're a light, dark, or neutral monster. However, the Zeroth Law is also in effect here, which is that the safety of all of mankind takes priority over the life of one man. So, if someone tries to take over the world or something like that, they're going down. Special Powers (O): Super strength, superhuman cognitive abilities, and really durable. AURB Experience: Guest in 9 and 10, host in 11th.
