I just saw the guild announcement and I must say as the new head, I am RARING to go! Let's start this fundraising season off right!

First of all, Congratulations to Cadenza of the Heart. You may be new to this, but as my secondary you'll be part of the group that does great things!

Alright, now I don't even know what the goal to reach is, but I know we can beat it! So to put it simply, I don't know and I DON'T CARE (for now) we are gonna raise, raise, raise! Lets make the 12th ball really great.

I've never done something like this before, but I'm excited
We can raffle stuff! Like art, or services (tekteking, graphics, achievements, bumping) or any extra items we have in our invos

Well that's always a great attitude to have.
Raffling is a staple of fundraising! It will be done. I'm thinking maybe set something up for halloween with different price ranges of raffles for better items.

1st level- past and present Jack items (1-5k worth) pick a number between 1-50. 50g to buy a ticket

2nd level- halloween themed items (10-20k worth) pick a number between 1-200. 200g to buy a ticket

3rd level- special items (25-50k worth) pick a number between 1-700. 500g to buy a ticket.

Or something like that. I haven't done a raffle in a looong time.

I have never done a raffle, or a shop, or anything like this (ahhahaha... sweatdrop )
but I've wanted to, and I think I have a decent understanding of how these things work?
The levels does sound good though. We'd have to figure out exactly what Halloween themed items to raffle, and what the special items will be.
Like what kind of price range are we thinking of for the raffle?
what do we have to work with right now?

Lol well it's not too hard or anything, we just have to keep on it, and bust some chops in order to keep getting gold.
Yeah we're still in the pre-planning stage, we have some time to work it all out though. I think we should make a new thread for it though since this is more of an idea thread.
I don't know what we have to work with. I'll try and get in touch with pinkie tomorrow so we can get some hard numbers to work with.

Congrats to you both. Get us some gold Anon, I have faith in you, nope, not at all. I have faith in Cadenza, I am sorry Anon our rivalry still stands.

So, you both know, there is a walk-in role-play event the girls/guys are doing. The masquerade ball, that helps bring in gold for us and spread information about the ball. I can't find it now; but I swear we brought it up somewhere. sweatdrop They make a forum during one of Gaia's events, so far Valentine is the one that is most successful.

pff rivalry is over. I have a bigger game to play now, the one that gets us paid. Thank you for the congrats. Congratulations to you too for making it on the Plot Committee. That should be fun for you if you don't mess it up. -nudge nudge- now if only my plot idea makes it to being the ball plot this year. I'd rule it all! lol just kidding. >.> not really, but yeah, sure.

I read about it. I was getting ready to go around to the other committee's and see what we could do to work together. Of course valentine's most successful, that's an easy holiday to make money off of.

lol sounds like a good start. I've been thinking up new ideas for a while now as well. Can't wait to get started on all of it.
Well then, I think you should work with the arts and graphics threads since you would have a better time with that. Lets get those workshops up and running.
Hmm, I've looked around the forums and have run into the tektek making part of gaia. That'd be agreat idea to make a little gold, but and even BETTER idea for advertising in that part of the forums. Make ball themed avi's and stuff.

I'll turn him into a flea, a harmless, little flea, and then I'll put that flea in a box, and then I'll put that box inside of another box, and then I'll mail that box to myself, and when it arrives..

You could do a panty raffle?

Those can be very lucrative if done right. Raffle off panties of some famous Ballsies.

Maybe you could get together with the art department, make it a joint raffle in as much as whoever wins a pair of panties, they get a piece of art of them with the panties and a chibi of the previous owner somewhere in the pic?
