Vanadinte bounced as the ship pulled into port. Finally she could get off and onto solid land! She had no idea how her sister could stand nor enjoy the constant rocking, while at first it had been soothing before hitting rougher waters and the fact that it took practically forever to get there. Boats were so slow!
The Magma trainee made sure to gather her things and double check she had everything before getting of the ship. She was wearing the Trainee uniform for Team magma Minus the hoodie which was folded up on her arm in a way that made the cute horns and logo invisible. She hoped that she wouldn't get lost trying to find the base. There was a base right? They wouldn't just send her to the middle of nowhere with no place to go. although the message she received on her communicator hadn't really old her what to do other than to go to Zatoa, so she was on her own trying to find the base. She was sure she'd be able to find her way around after all how lost could one get in this city anyways?
She giggled as she skipped off the boat clutching her torchic to her chest like a plushie. This was going to be a lot of fun, she'd find her sister and get to met and hang out with other Magmas! She hoped they liked cute pokemon she loved cute fire types! But not so cute fire types were good too!

Rao looked around the port, his magma uniform making him stand out incredibly amidst the sea of people. The higher ups said that a new magma member would be reporting to Zatao, and that he was supposed to show them around, but he didn't see a magma member. Could they have been captured by the feminists?

Vana looked around trying to figure out were to go. Re-reading the messages on her communicator were not helping and she didn't have any new ones so it seemed she'd have to fend for her self for the moment.
Although she was scanning the crowed as she walked away from the ship it was her torchic that spotted the magma grunt. "Tooooor" Keahi chirped, wiggling a bit in an attempt to get his trainer to notice the other magma.
"Hmm?" She tilted her head at the little bird in her arms before looking up and were he was attempting to point with his wing, due the way she was holding him he was having a hard time moving. Spotting the other magma her face lit up and she rushed over to him
"Heeeeeeeeeey." She called as she ran over to Rao. She was practically bouncing in place once she got over to him. "So you're a magma person to? That's great! Should I put the hoodie thing on now that I'm off the boat?" She asked curiously. "Oh! My name is Vanadinite! But people usually call me Vana" She chirped cheerfully. Ooooh this was going to be so much fun!

Rao was alarmed as he spotted the girl running over to him. The port was compromised! He started to run, but stopped as the girl identified herself. Oh. Come to think of it, feminists aren't usually so bouncy. She was clear, then. He shrugged at the girl's inquiry. "I dunno. You can if you want. I wear it, obviously, but it doesn't really matter to me if you do. It doesn't have protection from the feminist mind control. That sucks." He extended his hand in greeting. "My name's Rao. Nice to see another defender of mankind from the feminists here."

Vana nodded "Mmmkay~ I'll put it on latter then!" She gasped hearing about the mind controls rays "Those actually exist!" She was shocked, she had always been told that they were only in science fiction! She tilted her head hearing about feminists. "Feminists? Who are they?" she asked curiously, wonder who this group was that they had to protect the world from. Apparently this magma stuff went deeper than just making more land and cooing about fire types in cute outfits. She smiled as she shook his hand. "Nice you meet you too."
Keahi stared up at his trainer, he couldn't believe she was actually taking this guy seriously.

Rao shook his head. "No, I don't know if they do. I only know that the uniform doesn't protect us, so we must be ever vigilant. But we shouldn't discuss it here - the feminists have spies everywhere." He motioned behind him. "Come on."
Rao hadn't taken more than two steps before he continued discussing it as he walked. "The feminists are our most dangerous enemy. They want to kill us, all of us, kill us and replace us with woman versions of us."

Vanadinite nodded and skipped along side Rao as they walked. Mind control rays and spies! This was starting to sound dangerous, dangerous but fun!
"All of us? That's so mean! Wait if I'm all ready a girl how would they replace me with a woman version of myself?" She asked confused before thinking up an idea. "Would it be like a clone or something!?" She gasped that would be terrible!
"So how do we find them Rao, and how do we beat them?" This was a serious threat to humanity! She'd have to work really hard to beat them!

Rao stopped mid-step. Clones? Yes, that would explain their numbers. How fiendish of the feminists! Those damned evil, brainwashing, cloning feminists! He fixed Vanadinite with an approving look. "You understand them well! You'll be a great asset in our battle." He nodded to himself. No wonder the feminists recruited men for their evil schemes.
To the girl's other question he shook his head. "The feminists have a secret base deep in the ocean. It's too far down to see, and diving down is just asking to get sniped. Years ago, Team Magma awakened Groudon, and it started to destroy the ocean to stop the feminists. But the feminists were able to stop it, and hid it from us. We have to find Groudon and awaken it once more so it can finish it's task and we can defeat the feminists once and for all!"

Vanadinite grinned at the complement. she was glad to be of help, being of no help during a crisis was like being on the wrong side wasn't it? You should try to help even if it was just a little bit. "Hmm I wonder if there is a way to tell the clones apart form their originals." Clones were a scary idea, you could be infiltrated without even knowing it! They could be your best friend one day and the next replaced by a false version.
"Oooh wow, it must be hard to get to then, do they have like a submarine then." It would be really hard to sneak into an underwater base. Groudon was a must, she was familiar with the legend since it was a pokemon that came from her how country of Hoenn."Does that mean that they have Kyogre on their side? Or are they trying to find it." She asked, the two were mortal enemies and if you have an underwater base a pokemon that could flood the world seemed like a good ally to have.
This was going to be interesting, Keahi thought. The group seemed a bit odd to him with the costumes but his trainer had liked it so he didn't give it much thought after that but this guy seemed odd. The torchic had a feeling they would not be going to Hoenn for a long time. He just hoped that his trainer wouldn't get sidetracked from her mission of finding her sister, that was what they had come here for after all.

Rao shook his head at the mention of Kyogre. "I do not know. I know there is another group - Team Aqua, a bunch of pirate lunatics - looking for it, but there could be two groups trying to find it. Maybe more. Nevertheless, Kyogre would only damage our efforts to root out the feminists, so it's safe to consider Team Aqua our enemy as well." He paused. "As far as the clones go, I don't have enough intel on them to make an informed decision. For now, we should just be careful."

"Team aqua is a bunch of pirate?" She sighed softly, they certainly sounded like a group her sister would hang out. Aquamarine was no lunatic, but she was certainly fearless and headstrong. Vanadinite was certain that her sister would never hurt anyone or steal, nope her sister was just hanging out with them for fun and because she liked water pokemon. There was no way she would actually be involved in the illegal stuff. It was up to Vana to find her sister and bring her to their side before something bad happened.
So far they had two enemies, the feminists and the Aqua's who would most likely unknowingly aid the feminist. It seemed like it would be a hard task but was saving the world ever easy? "So is there anyone else looking for Groudon here?" she asked wondering if they had a large enough group to deal with both threats at once.

Rao shook his head. "Before you came, I was the only member of Team Magma assigned to Zatao. I figure it was so the feminists wouldn't suspect we were on to their schemes."

"Hmm that makes things difficult. But I guess it is good that the enemy doesn't know we're on to them." So there were two of them and two enemies, it looked like each of them would deal with a threat while working towards finding groudon. "Hopefully they will send more member soon, but we'll do the best we can by our selves~!"

Rao nodded. "Yeah. He paused. "Anyways, I should show you to the hideout I've secured. It's not a base, but it's what we have."
He led the girl to an incredibly conspicuous motel. Passing the bellhop, he gave the man a wave. "Keep up the good work, Guardsman."
The man called after him. "For the last time, kid, I'm not a damn 'guardsman'. I'm just the bellhop!"

"Oooh a secret hide out! This was great! It was like they where superheros! Ooh they where trying to save the world maybe they where heroes! Vana giggled again and skipped along after Rao. "Hello Guardsman!" She chirped cheerfully at the guardsman who was doing a good job at keeping his cover by declaring himself a bellhop.
