What Do You Look Like: Despite her advanced age, Cordelia takes on the appearance of a young girl no older than twelve, with long dark brown hair and relatively tanned skin. The only indication of her status as a non-human are her purple eyes, which glow in the dark when she wills them to. In terms of her overall appearance, Cora is rather short and scrawny-looking, leading many to think of her as a malnourished orphan child (which isn't too far from the truth, really). Her hair is always in a messy tangle, and she tends to wear simple knee-length tubular dresses made of cottons and silks. Around her neck is a collar with a pendant which cannot be removed from her body unless someone manages to get close enough and has enough strength to rip it off her neck or if her head is removed.

What Do You Like: No one. Cora is essentially asexual.
What Of Your Past: Cora entered into the land long ago, emerging from the depths of darkness to roam the lands without a physical form. She existed merely as a sort of cloud of darkness if you will, a sentient thing that could not be seen with the naked eye. Yet as a result of this, Cora was physically incapable of interacting with the physical world whatsoever. Cora scouted the lands, taking note of the surroundings whilst debating whether or not she'd be willing to make that world her new home. For her first seven years, she had no form, and only when she was satisfied with the state of the land did she finally choose a human vessel. The first was a farmer's daughter who she'd been watching over for some time. She was a fair woman in her early twenties, with long blonde hair and dazzling blue eyes. Immediately when Cora took possession of the woman's body, however, the girl's hair turned dark brown and her eyes a shade of purple. The vessel lasted only two months before Cora was driven out due to incompatibilities, but for those two months she finally enjoyed the pleasure of interacting with the real world.
Cora's next human vessel lasted much longer than the first - the woman was more willing to accept Cora into her body, and thus she lived as Lilith the Enchantress for over two centuries, a figure now only talked about in legends and stories. Lilith the Enchantress was said to be a beautiful but deadly sorceress from Orion, with floor-length brown hair and unique purple eyes that could 'look into souls and perceive an individual's true intentions', as they claim in her legend. Lilith eventually traveled from her homeland to aid heroes in their conquests and adventures, though she herself was never considered a hero by any means. Yet despite her status as a 'mere enchantress', Lilith's magic was said to be strong enough to allow her to fight alongside even the greatest of heroes. Her magic was said to revolve primarily around curses, hexes and supportive spells that enhanced characteristics of others or protected them with arcane barriers, though some variations of stories paint tales of her controlling the elements while others say she fought with magical blades. Lilith's greatest legacy is in the tale of her final battle - the battle with the dragons.
Story of Lilith and the Dragons
It was said that Lilith's magical prowess had been challenged by the Dragon Elders. Not one to stand down from a challenge, Lilith traveled to Dresgard to confront the dragons. A violent but extraordinary battle of magic both ancient and new ensued, and was said to have lasted almost seven days and seven nights, with such a brilliant display of power on both sides that even the Gods were thrilled by the fight. However the battle was indecisive as Lilith the Enchantress perished along with the dragons she had battled with, never to be seen again.
There were many variations of the story, though a general consensus of the story states that Lilith succumbed to Summoner's Sickness after exerting herself too much. The truth, however, would never be known to the others. While it was true that exertion did play an integral part in her 'death', the truth behind the tale was that the vessel was slowly beginning to crumble as a result of the Arcane Energy that was constantly ravaging it. Her demonic powers weren't enough to sustain the physical body for much longer, so as a last resort Cora wished to give Lilith a hero's death and charged her into battle before leaving the body once and for all. In reality, the story has been exaggerated and stretched by all of its tellers to the point of ridiculousness to befit the legend that was Lilith - the battle lasted mere hours, though in truth the display of magic on both sides was marvelous and stunning.
Realizing the limit that she had in this world, Cora's next vessel was that of a little girl from Lunaris. From that point on, she was known as Cordelia the Orphan, shortened to Cora. Over the next century, the girl refrained from using all forms of magic, and with further study she learned of a new form of demon magic that was less damaging to her own body. She refers to her brand of magic as 'Soul Keeping' because of what it entailed. Cora traveled through Lunaris and through the various other kingdoms, befriending people who she saw fit - most of them were homeless, dirty, dirt poor and desperate for survival, but Cora's chief quality was something she could only see when looking in their eyes: a deep-seated desire for power, but enough sense to know that power corrupted.
Her first soul belonged to a girl named Elise, an orphan from the Black-Blood Village whose parents had been murdered for no particular reason. Cora could see the pain within, and offered to help her solve the murder. Reluctant at first, Elise would eventually come around, and together the two young girls learned of her parents' involvement in the study of a form of black magic that dealt with shadows. When they had finally solved the mystery however, the group was confronted by the killers, and Elise was badly wounded after Cora was incapacitated. Cora came-to early enough to offer Elise her power, and from that point on they worked together.
The second soul belonged to a boy named Lionel of Daemor, a half-demon child who had become entangled with the world of crime almost at birth. It was while Cora and Elise were hunting for the killers that they stumbled upon a small crew (including Lionel) in the Bloodshot Tavern. Cora recognized the regret in the boy's eyes, and spared him his life after they brought one of the killers to justice. It took several days to convince Lionel, but when he finally came around Cora had another 'weapon' in her arsenal.
The third soul belonged to a man named Viktor, a knight and hired guard of the White Flame Kingdom. This was during Cora's thieving stage, and after Viktor threatened to kill Cora for stealing bread from the Royal Kitchens, a battle ensued in which Viktor was subdued and Cora gave him an ultimatum: "give me your soul, or I will have your head". Despite Lionel and Elise's hesitance, Cora decided it was for best - she saw Viktor's sense of justice as a strength, and his prowess as a knight would be useful to her in the long run. With no other choice, Viktor agreed and has since come around to being 'forced' into working for a little girl, though he still has a little resentment (it's a love-hate relationship).
Cora's fourth and final soul belonged to Riyo, the daughter of a wealthy spice merchant from across the seas. All the money in the world couldn't buy Riyo happiness, but when she met Cora they became close friends, and she'd decided that instead of returning home with her father, Riyo would stay with Cora.
In the span of nearly two more centuries, Cora had amassed her team of four, and now travels the land again, helping where it's needed.
What Are You Able To Do:
Spiritus Daemon: (trans. Demon Spirit) Cora exists merely as a 'cloud' of darkness. As such, she must be in the body of another vessel, be it human, elven, or even a suit of armor or some object in order to be able to interact with the real world. She retains her demonic powers once within a vessel, but extensive use of her powers will wear the body down and over time Cora must switch bodies or die within the vessel. This existence can be seen as almost parasitic in nature as the human she takes over will be trapped in darkness for as long as she takes over, but due to her demonic powers the body can live for centuries at a time and will never exhibit signs of aging, as evidenced through Lilith the Enchantress who retained her youth and beauty up until her 'death', and her most recent vessel of the little girl that has never aged or grown in almost two hundred years.
Keeper of Souls: Cora's main branch of magic is what she refers to as 'Soul Keeper'. In essence, it allows her to use the souls of willing individuals to fight her battles for her, in exchange for great power. This form of magic is less damaging than standard sorcery as the body is not constantly bombarded by arcane energy, giving Cora the time to repair any damage to her physical form and sustain it with her own demon magic. Over a span of two centuries Cora has collected the souls of four individuals who aid her in battle. Another facet of Cora's magic is something known as her 'Nightmare Mode' - an ultra-powered activation in which Cora pours her energy into her summon to activate the individual's true potential. It should be noted that Cora is only capable of using one summon at any given time - any more, and her body will suffer from the strain and she may acquire Summoner's Sickness.
- Nightmare Mode: Cora's nightmare mode is a state in which she floods the summon with her own arcane energy, thereby unlocking/unsealing the individual and giving them a vast, dramatic boost in power. In Nightmare Mode, her summons often change physical forms entirely depending on their skill set. Due to the nature of this mode, the summons will not be empowered for long with a limit of 2-4 posts maximum before Cora must unsummon the individual. Another consequence of this mode is in Cora's inability to cast anymore spells for a duration of five posts at the point of unsummoning, otherwise she'll overspend her energy and acquire Summoner's Sickness. Once she unlocks Nightmare mode, Cora won't be able to enter it again for the duration of the day or until a 15 post count has been reached.
Elise, the Shadowbinder: Elise is the first human that Cora convinced to join her. Elise's main appearance is that of a little girl, slightly taller than Cora with long black hair and dark brown eyes. Instead of having a shadow like any normal human, however, Elise's shadow swirls around her in a wispy ring. Elise, like Cora, tends to wear dresses, though her hair is always neatly combed. Personality-wise, Elise is a very sweet and caring girl, going so far as to apologize when she injures someone with her magic, even if they're enemies. Her primary form of combat is offensive magic, and like her parents Elise is capable of working shadows and darkness into a powerful form of magic that she refers to as 'Shadowbinding'. Not only can she give darkness and shadows a form, she can travel through shadows and pull Cora along with her if necessary, though the distance she can travel is rather limited (generally only a few hundred yards at maximum, granted there's a shadow in the 'entrance' and the 'exit' areas).
Nightmare Mode: In nightmare mode, Elise transforms into a flying two-headed creature of darkness and shadows (as depicted above). Elise grows horns and a long serpentine body. Her powers are greatly enhanced, allowing her to shift into an intangible shadow-like form and even 'consume' light to create darkness with one of her heads. The other head 'produces' darkness from the light consumed and serves as the primary attacker, creating a versatile array of weapons and attacks that include a shower of shadow shards, darkness waves, shadow cannonballs, etc. The nightmare form of Elise is also capable of traveling through shadows at much greater distances, and even weaving through a series of shadows to have her body/head protrude from different shadows all over the field.

Lionel, the Demonic Enchanter: Lionel is the second soul that Cora acquired. Hailing from the Demonic Lands, Lionel was born the child of a demon and a shapeshifter, but he was abandoned at birth and taken in by a group of thieves and murderers. The first few years of his training, Lionel was constantly beaten to the point of unconsciousness because he'd cry uncontrollably whenever he had to harm or kill someone. He eventually learned to hold his emotions in, but for as long as he could remember, Lionel was always reluctant to do his job. When Cora came to him, she offered him a way out and he eventually accepted. In his normal form Lionel appears to be a young boy with light brown hair and purple eyes similar Cora's. His powers revolve solely around support-based magic. He can enchant weapons, armor and objects to give them special (but temporary) characteristics to aid in battle much like the powers that Lilith had, and he can also cast healing spells and protective wards to keep his allies safe. Lionel has also been seen to curse and hex enemies with a variety of effects from petrification to slowing movement/perception to creating illusions in order to fool or trick the enemies.
Nightmare Mode: In Nightmare mode, Lionel grows older (and taller, as depicted), and his hair darkens. His eyes turn a shade of red, and a glowing red seal appears on the back of his hands. Flames sprout around him in a ring much like Elise's ring of shadows in her normal form, though they emit no heat until Lionel commands it. The flames give him a significant boost with his powers - his healing is upgraded to the point where he essentially 'burns away' the damage of his allies, while his protective wards made of flame are strong enough to block all forms of magic and most physical attacks (as the flames will emit intense heat at that point and burn anyone/anything that passes through it, though if something is heat treated or resistant it can pass through the barrier). Lionel's flames can also cover his allies' bodies to empower them, giving them a boost in their raw strength, their speed, their perception, their durability and endurance, and the like. When used offensively, however, Lionel's flames are significantly weakened to the point where they essentially become normal fire (due to Lionel's reluctance for combat). As a result, they can easily be extinguished, and once any trace of the flame is gone, Lionel is rendered useless (so he rarely uses the flames to fight).

Viktor, the Disgraced Knight: Viktor was the third soul Cora acquired. In his normal form he takes on the appearance of a tall, muscular man with black hair and dark brown eyes. He has a very fierce appearance and seems to be the no-nonsense type, which pretty much explains exactly who Viktor is. Personality-wise, Viktor is rough around the edges and not one to sugarcoat or hold back in his manner of speaking. He will readily insult you without so much as a single care in the world, and he has no intention of understanding how anyone 'feels' or their emotional state. In combat, Viktor is even worse, becoming a brute of a man. He tends to rush into battle without planning ahead, but his raw physical strength and immense durability and endurance are the three qualities that allowed him to survive for so long until Cora showed up. Viktor's primary training is in knighthood, though he tends to prefer using his bare fists than any weapon. Once he joined Cora's 'army' Viktor gained an incredible boost in his natural strength, allowing him to smash through wood and stone with ease and bend metal as if it were plastic. He's essentially the heavy hitter of her group, and best suited for situations where something must be cleared away or someone needs to be disciplined.
Nightmare Mode: In Nightmare mode, Viktor undergoes a full body transformation (as depicted) where he grows a pair of wings, a tail, metal-like claws and an overall appearance of a demon. His strength is augmented to incredible levels, as is his endurance and durability, making him the ultimate hand-to-hand fighter, capable of taking enemies from the ground and from the air. In the Nightmare Mode Viktor is also capable of producing powerful blasts of pure demonic energy from his body, which have the ability to explode, cause blunt force damage or even slice through enemies and objects like butter.

Riyo, the Sword Dancer: Riyo is the fourth and final soul that Cora acquired. She takes on the appearance of a young girl in her teens, with dark purple hair and crimson red eyes. She wears a tattered red scarf around her neck and a simple outfit that consists of a blue shirt, black shorts and bandages around her feet. Her primary ability is in swordplay - Riyo is capable of conjuring a special sword made of a material that allows her to cut through virtually any material with ease due to it's incredible sharpness. She is granted the power of super speed, capable of traveling fast enough that she can appear at up to three places in any given time (though only attack in one, since the other two are afterimages that melt away almost instantly). Riyo is by far the quickest summon, and her skills are best-suited for tasks like assassinations. In exchange for her speed, Riyo is relatively weak in terms of how much damage she can take, though she has incredible reflexes and balance.
Nightmare Mode: In Nightmare Mode, Riyo grows into a massive size (as depicted) and dons a thick layer of armor. She gains another pair of arms. Due to her layer of armor, Nightmare Riyo becomes incredibly slow, but she is capable of sustaining massive amounts of damage without so much as wincing and dealing a devastating amount of damage with four arms and four conjured weapons. This makes her most Nightmare Mode best suited for clearing away the battlefield quickly and effectively.

What Is Your Song: BABYMETAL - Doki Doki Morning
