No owls or pigeons sung in the observatory as Medea stepped down the ramp, giving her an view of the birds below. Her arm wrapped in her cast, she looked through the bars to study a sleeping falcon. Its chest rose and fell and its feathers looked soft and warm-brown and lovely--the kind she would pluck for a pen or barrette, but then she realized the cruelty of her thoughts and sighed. No, she couldn't do that. It wouldn't be right.
An order signature appeared nearby. Medea worried another would follow it for she patrolled the observatory because it felt safe. No one would hunt her her--would break her other arm, would tear out her hair.
Xenotime frightened her deeply.ChibiGingi HEY. SORRY THIS TOOK FOREVER. <333 ILU

For all of her time spent in Destiny City, she was sad to admit that she had never officially gone to the observatory before, either as a civilian or powered form. Eternal Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers and general butt-kicker of the bad guys, was an avid animal lover, and while she may have been hesitant around carrion birds and seagulls ( especially seagulls), she still had a spot in her heart for the feathered creatures. She often thought they were lucky to be able to fly, something that she'd love to do someday, but it seemed these fake butt wings would simply have to do. She had heard that the observatory had a few birds, and ever eager to be in the presence of an animal, big or small, Tsui found her way into the complex with little problem at all. She was expecting to see a few birds resting here and there, as well as possible danger lurking nearby, as that seemed to be a constant trial for her. With power came responsibility, as well as the risks of attracting attention, but that was perfectly fine with Tsui. She liked attention, good or ill. So it was to her surprise that she felt an Order aura in the area, and without hesitation and completely betraying the animal that she drew her power from, she called out to the other Senshi or Page that was hiding in the area, keeping her tone bright and friendly. "Hey, you can come out now. Ignore the tiger pelt and claws- I only hurt the other guys."

"Oh." Medea leapt from the stairs onto the ground before her fellow Senshi. She took care to set her weight on her left, in case she stumbled and risked damaging her arm even more. "Hello there." Medea brushed her hair from her face. "My name's Medea." She laughed. "I would shake your hand, but..."
She nodded in the direction of her cast.
"You hurt the other guys huh?" The smile remained. "I might need your name for later." Another laugh. The an owl cooed. "Unfortunately, my abilities don't lend themselves to combat very well."
Maybe this girl could help her. As much as she admired the purple-haired agent's...tenacity. She seemed far too threatening. Someone would need to control her, or at least strike fear into her heart.

Tsui turned around just as the other Senshi got the drop on her, and she was rather thankful that that she was one of her own, otherwise she would have been surprised by their sudden arrival. Feeling and detecting another powered officer's aura was one thing, being able to pinpoint their exact whereabouts and spot them before they lashed out was a completely different matter. But there was little to no fear in Tsui's form as she flashed the senshi a kind smile. "Nice to meet you, Medea!" Tsui said, instinctively going for a solid handshake but noticing the cast right as Medea made mention of it. She couldn't help but wince, and never one to hold back what she was thinking, she gave a pitiful spat. "Ugh, not your right. I'm right handed, so I'd be screwed if that was me!" Not that injuries ever got in the way of her duties before. The scars on her hip were a clear sign of this, but Tsui would only indulge her in that story if she wanted to hear it. Tsui was more action than talk anyway, most of the time. "Name's Eternal Sailor Tsui, and taking the fight to the enemy and protecting my court and allies is what I do best. Sorry about your arm, though... but at least it'll mend soon, right?" She could tell that something was bothering Medea, and in this day and age, and that cast, she had a good idea of what it might have been. "Well, not everyone's meant for combat, but don't worry. That doesn't mean you're useless, just means you got to think of a different approach. What are your abilities, anyway?"

"Oh Tsui." She laughed. "I am right-handed." She shrugged. "We'll see about recovery. I've been trying to find the woman who did this to me." An owl woke. "I was hoping to garner support before I faced her again, since--" Another laugh. The owl preened. "--well my magic, just--" She wrapped her hand around a bar of its cage. "Alluring Enchantment." The cage and her hands glowed pink. "Yeah."
She sighed.
"Then if I point, well." She pointed at the owl. Her hands ceased glowing. The owl stared at its cage. "Whoever gets the finger stares at the shiny thing." She leaned against the bars, deflated and sad-looking. "What about you?"

Tsui made a face when Medea admitted to being right handed, and she felt compelled to hide her head in embarrassment as she apologized. "Ew… uh, sorry. Well, I hope for a speed recovery for you then!" The Tiger Senshi watched Medea demonstrate her power, and while it was obvious that Medea wasn't too enthralled with her magic, Tsui was trying to think of ways that could be used in combat. No, she certainly wasn't the strategist of her group and she left most of that for her Sutai, but she had been in enough battles to know that there was nothing worse than a distraction. "Well, it's certainly pretty to look at, but I think that if you had another Senshi there to do the ol' one-two strike while the enemy was distracted, it could be REALLY useful." Tsui looked around the area for something she could demonstrate her magic on, without scaring the birds or causing a mess. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything there, but she knew that there was a trash can outside, and what better to attack then a trashcan that couldn't fight back, and no birds to hurt or scare? "I can show you mine. Come on, follow me outside! I think you'll like it…"

Medea laughed. "You're very sweet, Tsui." The glow faded. "Most of the time I barely survive." The owl shut its eyes. "It's tiring to live by others' mercy." She smiled. "But your ideas seem very strategic. Certainly it would be nice to fight alongside another Senshi..."
Admiring Tsui's furs and butt-wings, Medea followed.
"Can you fly? Are you the Senshi of wings?"

"Well, that's the thing, Medea. Though there's a lot of us Senshi and Knights, we... kind of lack the unity and the organization that our enemies have," Tsui said, crossing her arms and trying her best not to let some of the bitterness she held inside her bubble onto the surface. Poor Medea seemed to have enough troubles of her own and Tsui did not need to be adding anything on top of that! "Any attempt we had to try and talk as a group ended pretty poorly in the past, and for some, it's just hard to want to work in groups. I am... was... one of those people. And I did a lot of stupid stuff on my own." A lot. But she wouldn't bog down poor Medea with details. Not unless she really wanted to know. "There are smaller groups within the Court that have formed: the Jovians, Celestrial Guardians... uh... the group that Iris leads. There's unity there, but it's not just that. It's that we're too reactive and not proactive at all. We're always waiting, for something to happen, for the Negaverse to do something. Never really preventing it, and then wonder what we could have done to stop it. But no one really wants to take that initiative, and I guess I don't blame them, but it's just annoying." She found her victim and steadied it, chuckling at Medea's compliment and answering her question in kind. "Haha, no, 'fraid I can't. But that'd be really awesome if we could. If you like my wings, you should see Princess Polaris'. They're huge, and awesome. But, nope, Senshi of Tigers. And let me show you my pounce!" Tsui then turned fierce golden eyes to the trashcan, making the motion with her arms and summoning the white energy to her hands, before lunging forward and slamming her first level magic attack against it, sending the trash can at least four feet back. "Tiger Fist Strike!"

"Oh Tsui..." She frowned. Tsui seemed strong, and Medea felt certain that once upon a time Tsui made for a strong sailor scout--stronger than her, that seemed for sure--and that noted, if Tsui considered her own mistakes stupid, how terrible were Medea's? She brushed her hair over her shoulder.
Pretty stupid.
"Surely you weren't as awful as you thought." She studied the trash can. "But if you ever want to join a group, I'm--" She laughed. "--I'm starting one with a database for enemies." She nodded. "So teammates can find each other and hunt together for dangerous targets."
And ambush them.
And really hurt the Negaverse because they produced monsters like Bischofite and Xenotime.
She gasped and stepped back as Tsui knocked back the can. She...she actually could hurt them. Yes. Tsui would be priceless. Her presence would ensure the protection of teammates, and she could frighten the Negaverse if given teammates to back her up. Like Thraen, who could bind as Tsui attacked. They could be an unstoppable duo.
What could Medea do to convince Tsui to join?
"Tsui, I've never seen a trashcan fly like that." She laughed, and approached. "You're incredibly strong." She met her gaze. "Would you like to help with the team?"ChibiGingi SORRY THIS TOOK FOREVER ;; <333 *snuggu*

"No, trust me, I was horrible. I got the scars and eye witness account to prove it," Tsui said, motioning to the scars at her hip with little shame or disgust. No, they weren't pretty and she was certain that it would entice pity from others to look upon them, but Tsui wore them with pride and never thought twice about showing them off to anyone. Not just to show how awesome she thought she was, but to let them know exactly what they were going to be dealing with in this line of work. "But don't worry, you just need some guidance here and there, and you'll be just fine. I'm sure of it!" Tsui listened to Medea's offer and pondered it, but only for a moment. "A database of enemies? Hm... that seems pretty smart, actually. Gather up as much intel that all of us have gathered through the years and get organized for once. I kind of like that... who else have you approached about this?" The Tiger Senshi didn't tell her that she was technically part of another group, but she had a feeling that the Jovians wouldn't mind branching out. A database for the White Moon and the Knights to use? That seemed almost genius and Tsui wondered why they haven't tried this before. "I'm not too good with intel, but if you ever need someone to help train others or need some muscle, I'm your gal. I got a list of Negaverse officers and Dark Mirror Senshi that I can give you, if you give me a day or two to right them down. I'm sure other others could add to that list too." It always made Tsui feel good when others admired her attack, and her blush was hardly fake, even as she soaked in the compliment. Unaware of the thoughts going on in Medea's head, Tsui replied immediately, not once considering another option besides acceptance. "Absolutely! Anything to help out my allies and the citizens of this city! I'm willing to do anything if it'll keep this city safe from Chaos and its lies!"

"Yay!" Laughing, she hugged Tsui. "Thank you." She pulled away. Tsui represented the strength and power the team needed: Without her, they would act as a collective of nurses and distractions--now they had someone to distract from and heal. This was perfect. "I look forward to working with you Tsui. Thank you so much."
Let's see...She smiled.
"We have Thraen, a plant based Senshi annnd yeahh." She sighed. "I'm reaching out for contacts and prowling around for new members." She nodded. "There are a few who I think will particularly good. Most of them are support." She gestured to the trashcan. She didn't know Thraen's powers exactly, but Persephone boosted energy? That could be useful. Perhaps she'd reach out to Acubens as well. Acubens was speedy. "We'll serve as your meat shields."

The hug was unexpected, but not entirely unwelcomed. Tsui wanted to do her best for the White Moon Court and offering whatever services that she could manage seemed like the best way to go. In truth, it was making the Tiger Senshi proud to see others taking some initiative in banding together and working for a cause, something that she knew a lot of Senshi and Knights lacked. It was the key advantage that the Negaverse had over them, but this gave her some hope that they'd someday match them in that department. "Alright, alright, you'd swear I gave you a million dollars or something with the way you're acting!" Tsui said, putting forth faux modesty and making it clear that she was only kidding. She listened to her list of members, not too surprised to hear that it was relatively small, but finding no flaw in that. They were just starting, that's fine. What caught her attention and made her frown was that last bit, and Tsui was quick to oppose to that idea. "No meat shields. I'll gladly accept support, but no one should really consider themselves a meat shield... I don't let others take the hit for my actions. I had enough of that..." Maybe she was a bit harsh, but Tsui didn't want to think of anyone in her court as a meat shield. It just felt wrong to her, like something the Negaverse would use, and as much as she wanted to match the Negaverse with their unity, she wasn't willing to resort to their cruel tactics and mindset. She had every faith in Medea that it wouldn't come to that... "But don't worry. You have my support on this, Medea."

"Thank you Tsui. You're wonderful! No meat shields." Tsui's voice trailed off, and despite her smile, Medea's brow furrowed. Was Tsui reminiscing or something...? Medea shook her head. "I'm just grateful that you're willing to take part. We need to band together. Fend off the agents somehow..." Except for Buddy. No. He was special, but Tsui didn't need to know that. Not yet. She smiled. "Well!"
She scanned Tsui into her phone and laughed.
"We'll be okay." She said it more for herself than for Tsui. "They say there's more Senshi." Natron said that to calm her, she felt pretty sure, but then, he didn't have to...
Negaverse.
Why did you screw with her emotions?
To Tsui, she grinned, laughed, powered down. "My name's Ruthie." Birds preened. "It's nearing the end of my rounds, but hey." She stared deep into Tsui's eyes. "If you ever need anything, let me know, okay? I'm not the best fighter, but I'm a decent listener."
That much was true, at least. Sometimes. If there wasn't anything better on TV. If she didn't daydream or figure out her past.
That mysterious past. Was she really alive a thousand years ago? It seemed so incredible.

Tsui followed Medea's example and scanned the other senshi into her phone, whipping it out and wasting little time in getting everything she needed. Part of her should have been concerned about spreading herself too thin, as she was already a part of the PSSG, and unofficially a Jovian, but if it meant to bring assistance to others and branching out, then what harm could it do? Maybe this was what was needed to build some form of unity within the White Moon Court as a whole, and she could see if Ida, Athene and Chaonis would have been interested in helping out. Maybe merge the two? It was a lot to think about, and Tsui was eager to put it off for a little later. "Yeah, there are, but as big as our numbers are, we lack the same organization and unity as our enemy in the Negaverse, and a lot of us lack a purpose and sense of duty like the Dark Mirror Court, so any little bit helps in our case," Tsui said, putting away her phone and watching as Medea powered down. It seemed like a weird place to do so, but a quick glance around confirmed that with the exception of the birds, they were alone, and seconds later, the Senshi of Tigers followed her example. "And I'm Gwendolyn, but you can just call me Gwen. A pleasure to meet you, Ruthie." She extended a hand to the other girl, a nagging feeling in the back of her mind that couldn't be ignored but she refused to bring it up. Ruthie seemed vaguely familiar to her, but she couldn't put a finger on it. Maybe she'd question this later, but for now, she'd be content with finding a new friend and ally. "Take care of yourself, Ruthie. Don't forget you now have a tiger on your side. If I need any kind of advice, I'll track you down, alright?" elza magica Gwen works across the street from Sugar Shanty, so she might have seen her in passing at some point? c:

”Gwen,” she laughed. ”The pleasure is mine.” The girl looked vaguely familiar, like a face in passing. She thought she recognized her from one of the busier areas of town—shops along the road, shops like…Oh. Sugar Shanty. She recalled her meeting with Richard there—still astounded that he could befriend someone as charming and kind as Buddy because though he possessed his own warmth and swagger, Buddy seemed so dapper and suave. Maybe Richard played wingman. Yes, surely, that’s how their arrangement worked. Richard searched for potential romances for Buddy, and perhaps Buddy helped him in turn. Satisfied with her logic, Ruthie smiled at Gwen, who didn’t have a clue about any of her budding romances or trysts, and that’s how it would stay. She would protect Buddy from her, but she would never reveal why. She would simply have to conjure explanations about being their deepest tie to internal Negaverse affairs, and that would make her think twice.
But all of this would come later. Her friendship with Gwen was still fresh, and therefore, easily disturbed.
”Of course.” She nodded. ”Thank you again, Gwen. I’ll always be happy to help you, and I hope to see you soon!” That was honest, at least. She liked Gwen as much as Zwisch needed her, and with a wave, she started her way home.ChibiGingi That's a fin on my end! =D Thank you so much for the RP! <3
