Part One: Tracking the Gaili
The idea of hunting down the most powerful dragons in all of Eowyn was one that had excited Eyphah to no end and it was a hunt that he refused to go on alone, wanting Tallulah at his side so that the two of them could revel in the fun that was defeating the Gaili together. The two of them had taken on a whole pack of Firani after all and in the end there had been none left standing save for the two of them, surrounded by glittering red orbs. He was determined to have the same thing happen today only this time it would be those brownish gold orbs that they would be finding in bulk. It would give them both a wonderful boost to their power and help them to take a huge leap forward as far as their quests went to become a Drakeinian and a Merkeinian, rare accomplishments that would be celebrated by their kind Eyphah just couldn't wait! He wanted to show his mother his Drakeinian self, to show her that she hadn't made a mistake when she picked him up once upon a time ago in the sands of Eowyn when he was a lost, hissing little Keinling despite his being Diabi.
Turning to look over at Tallulah who was keeping up quite well despite the dry air, "We will see about finding a decent amount of them. I am not sure about taking on as many of the Gaili as we did the Firani though, we want to be careful after all, we don't want to get in over our heads since they are the most powerful dragon around." He couldn't wait to get a taste of them! They were sure to be amazing when it came to their flavor! He would need to make sure that he chopped a section off of one of them so that they would be able to eat well after their difficult battle as well he thought to himself, his tail swishing rapidly behind him, a look of delight on his features, "We will beat them up, cook them up, take their orbs, and eat them in a tasty stew. It will be a grand day of that I am certain, Tallulah."
The confidence in the Diabi's voice was more then enough to put a smile on the Merkein's features as he gave him a smile, "I am sure that it will be, Eyphah." How could he have any doubts after all when his teacher was so sure of their victory after all. The two of them were going to triumph today for certain, they would gather more Gaili orbs to add to their personal stashes, and they were going to gain much from them as well in the way of experience in battle! Not to mention the meat that Eyphah seemed to be so eager to get as well. It felt a little odd at times to partake in the meals that the Diabi provided for them, especially given the source of the meat in Eyphah's various stews, but he told himself long ago that he would follow Eyphah no matter what. Even if it included a few weird meals here and there he was going to continue to follow him. Not as though something weird for dinner was going to be his downfall after all. All he had to do was refrain from questioning the source of the meat and everything turned out well enough. At least this time around it was just a dragon and not some form of two-legs.
"Where do you think we will find the Gaili?" He asked in a curious manner, having never seen one before. The closest he'd been to a Gaili dragon was the two orbs that the two of them had found laying in the sands along with the body of the warrior that had killed them. The orb hadn't given them any sort of clues about where to look, how tough the dragon would be, how big it would, what they would have to do to beat them, or anything of the like. All they knew for certain was the color of the orbs that they would be receiving at the end of the battle. He supposed that was a start... and there was the added bonus that the orbs had held the scent of the Gaili, right? If nothing else as least that was a clue that would... help them to... the Merkein paused as that thought came to mind, lifting his head up to sniff at the air, then went wide eyed, "Surely not...?" No, no way were they as lucky as that... were they? To think that he might think about tracking the Gaili by scent only to then catch the scent of the powerful dragons a moment later.
Eyphah turned to look over at the Merkein, watching him as he started to sniff at the air, then moved to follow suit. After a moment his glow eyes seemed to go wide, "Oh, yes!" He said, grinning it utter delight, "You are wonderful, Tallulah! I smell them now too! Let's get going!" He said, turning toward where the scent was coming from so that the two of them could go charging forward toward it. They were getting close to their goal that was Gaili to fight, and he wanted to get his claws on them sooner then later, before some other fool dared to try to take what was theirs from them!

Part Two: The Battle!
Side by side with one another the Eyphah and Tallulah hurried across the hot sands of Eowyn, following after the scent in the air that was most certainly that of the Gaili dragons. It had been faint at first but it was getting thicker and thicker in the air as they headed North, making the two of them quite excited to see the dragons that were said to be Eowyn's most powerful. Both were trying to figure out just by the scent alone what it was that they might be facing up against. How big would they be, what sort of weaponry would they be equipped with, how fast, how strong, would they be able to fly, all of these questions and more were racing through the minds of the two of them and as they crested a particularly tall sand dune they both froze in place as they spotted not one, not two, but three Gaili not all that far in front of them. Eyphah was quick to back pedal, squatting down low, and watched the trio of them with wide eyes.
"Wow... they are so much more then what I was expecting." He breathed, sounding as though he were utterly fascinated by the massive Gaili, unable to help but to stare at them for the longest time, his mouth hanging open a bit. Something he regretted quickly when he ended up with a mouthful of sand that he had to spit out before turning to look over at Tallulah who was looking equally as in shock and awe as the Diabi was, "Alright, same plan as last time? I go in first by air, get their attention on me, then you sneak attack the slowest of them. Sound good?" He said, tail lashing, his scythe like claws curling against the sand in an eager way. It had been far too long since he'd had a good battle, one that involved him being on land instead of flailing about in the water, and this was something he was more then eager to see started.
Tallulah studied the Diabi closely before giving a soft laugh, "Always so battle starved. I am sorry if I am holding you back a bit from really letting loose like you want to." He murmured, giving the Drakein a smile, ever grateful for the fact that Eyphah had sacrificed so much of his own time and energy to see that Tallulah was properly trained, "If you want to go first and get in the preemptive strike I don't mind." Might as well let Eyphah get his claws wet, it would likely put him in an even better mood if that were possible. The moment that he agreed to the plan in fact Eyphah was already taking to sky, going up high so that he could get in a good dive bomb. It was something that Tallulah was ready and waiting for, his entire form tense with anticipation, and the moment he saw the black and red blur coming down out of the sky he started forward.
The trio of Gaili never saw Eyphah coming as he slammed into the side of one of them, his scythe claws, tail barb, and many fangs all tearing deep into the flesh of the first of the Gaili dragons. The sound it made was one that Eyphah would never forget, delighting in the roar of pain, before his attacks continued. He moved along the dragon's side, climbing up it, leaving deep wounds in his wake, heading for the dragon's throat and the moment he saw an opening he lunged, jaws snapping shut, and he all the claws on all four feet digging in as well, and soon enough the first Gaili was crumpling to the ground, then broken down leaving behind only its orb. He whirled around quickly to check on the other two of them... and went wide eyed with surprise and amazement when he saw a second one of them already crumbling away. It seemed as though Tallulah had gotten a good hold of the second Gaili's windpipe just under it's powerful jaws and did it in quite efficiently unlike Eyphah who preferred much bloodier means.
The third dragon was soon overwhelmed by both the Drakein and the Merkein attacking at once, one from each side, all claws and fangs, and it too was soon crumbling away into nothingness... though not before the Diabi was able to use his exceedingly sharp tail barb to hack through the Gaili's tail, leaving a good chunk of meat behind for the two of them. Licking his lips he starred down at it, "We are sure to get much stronger by ingesting the meat of Eowyn's finest." He purred in delight before he and Tallulah split up, going about to quickly gather up the glittering orbs, "Here, you carry them in your tail fin, I will get the meat, and will find a nice oasis to celebrate at." The Diabi called out. It was time for a party if you asked him! Given how quickly and how well they had taken out the trio of dragons there was much to celebrate.
Tallulah gave a bit of a chuckle as he carried some of the orbs over, wrapping his tail around so that all six of them could be placed on his tail fin, which he quickly wrapped around, "A celebration sounds nice." He said, his heart pounding quite hard in his chest after such a battle. It was quite exhilarating and given that the two of them had been able to take down the most powerful dragons in Eowyn he couldn't help but to shake with pure excitement. He watched as the Diabi grabbed up the tail meat and soon enough the two of them were hurrying off toward the oasis, wanting to clear out before any other Gaili came to investigate the roars from earlier.
