One of the few pockets of humanity in the United States is around the city of Denver, CO. The mountains in this area helped protect it from much of the nuclear fallout and society has once again begun to emerge in the ruins of Denver although much of the city is still overrun by hostile mutations and undead. There is much to and it's hard to get by.
