Thank you dearly, Lune. I appreciate all of the support that the guild has offered me in my writing expenditures. Unfortunately, brainstorming requires that one knows the rest of what is written in the story so far, so if you'd rather wait until I post it in the official thread, turn back now.




For those of you who have stayed, I will post a summary of what has occurred in terms of plot and character relationship development in white. Again, this is your last chance to turn back.


CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE (Anders) : Anders visits the Reader, walking in on her writing a song which she promises to show him later, as it reminds her of him. He brings her a pillow hand-embroidered by his mother, the only possession he was allowed to keep when he went to the Circle. The Reader recognizes the scene from DA2 and knows that it means Anders has put his plan to blow up the Chantry in action. She manages to talk him out of it without him admitting what the plan is, but Vengeance comes out and forces him to continue the plan.
CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR (Fenris and Anders) : Hawke's dog goes missing. Fenris, Anders, and the Reader go looking for it together. Bickering, jealousy, and flirting ensues.
CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE (Dream) : The Reader confronts Justice about his involvement of blowing up the Chantry. Justice insists that it was Vengeance, not him, that made Anders take that action, and that upon reuniting with the Fade, it healed the corruption he had experienced from Anders's anger. Justice tells the Reader to go to Sundermount and inquire as to the rites of exorcism with the wise woman there.
CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX (Recruiting) : The Reader recruits Merrill, Fenris, and Sebastian to go to Sundermount with her.
CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN (Sundermount) : The rag-tag team meets Flemeth on top of Sundermount, who is as cryptic, wise, and teasing as always. She tells the Reader that by getting pregnant, she can use the fetus as a sacrifice in a blood magic ritual to separate Anders and Vengeance.
CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT (Danarius) : Fenris meets Varania in the Hanged Man only for her to sell him out to Danarius. The Reader gets involved, despite everyone's protests, and ends up getting mortally injured. Anders's magic touch is the only thing that keeps her from death.
CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE (Fenris and Anders) : Fenris and Anders argue over whether Anders is allowed to treat the Reader with magic and save her life. Eventually, Fenris gives in.
CHAPTER FORTY (Fenris and Anders) : Fenris breaks-up with the Reader in a fit of rage. Anders comforts the Reader until she falls asleep.
CHAPTER FORTY-ONE (Sebastian) : Sebastian brings the Reader flowers and admits that he once held feelings for her.
CHAPTER FORTY-TWO (Cullen) : The Reader runs into Cullen...literally, and has the wind knocked out of her. Cullen waits and talks with her while she catches her breath.
CHAPTER FORTY-THREE (Drunk) : The Reader gets drunk off her arse, sings a song about how she doesn't like Fenris, vomits, and is escorted out of the Hanged Man by a mystery man.
CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR (Anders) : The mystery man was Anders. The Reader wakes up in bed with him, as she wouldn't let him leave the night previous. She sings him the song she had been penning for him earlier in the story.

Okay, so here's eventually what I want to happen. I want the Reader to get pregnant and use the baby as a sacrifice in the exorcism to separate Anders from Justice. I would also like to have even more build-up to a grand finale of Anders x Reader. I was also considering whether or not I want to have anything more happen with Fenris and the Reader, and if I want to develop anything more with Zevran or Cullen or both. I was thinking Merrill could help the Reader with the blood magic involved with the exorcism, which could spark some conflict with Merrill, since she could feel betrayed that she had a thing with Fenris right after assuring Merrill that everything would be fine between them, and then not having anything with her for a while.

I haven't addressed All that Remains...in all honesty, I actually forgot about it until a guildie pointed it out to me in a private brainstorming session, so I could do something with Hawke there, or allude to it and do something with Hawke and a love interest to get rid of both of them.

Haven't broken things off with Isabela yet, so there's still a possibility of doing things with her character, or I could easily just say it was a fling that never developed into anything.

Sort of broken things off with Hawke and Sebastian.

Officially broken things off with Varric and Fenris.

Could do things with Zevran and Cullen.

Don't know what events I want to occur to build Anders and the Reader's relationship, but I do know I want to continue the steady build-up I've had so far, not rushing anything, so that the end result is as sweet as can be.

Guildie pointed out that Anders could be distrustful of the Reader's feelings because of these flings she's been having with everyone else.

So yeah...any and all ideas are appreciated and considered helpful, even if they're as ridiculous as "Alistair pops in and says 'Swooping is bad.'" You never know what could spark an idea.

Also, I don't recalled if I mentioned this or not, but I'm also considering building a love triangle between Fenris, Anders, and the Reader, but I'm unsure if I want to do it yet.

I like the idea of Ella's funeral...

1. Did you read the summary in white? I already took care of the Danarius plot.
2. I like the idea of Fenris eventually seeking comfort with the Reader.
3. An idea I'd considered, but it also might be an interesting contrast to have it be Anders's child, so that if I write an epilogue, they could actually try to have a child that won't be sacrificed.

I think Alistair is still a very popular character...His interactions due to the blood magic of Anders might be good...I'm just wondering, tho...Simply thinking out loud...
I remember back when I created this guild and was VC of the mass effect one, I held a poll on the sexiest Bioware character and Alistair did win (to the dismay of many Alenko fans...lol)
Alistiar is often considered the most adorable dork there is, so I think something good could come out of any interaction with him...

OKAY! So I think I have the next 20 chapters somewhat planned out. Could use some help brainstorming fluff scenes though. I'll include my plans below in white.

1. Alistair visits and dresses as a commoner so Hawke can give him a tour without attracting attention. He takes him to the Hanged Man to watch the Reader play, but has to leave on short notice when someone comes in to ask him to break-up a fight between Meredith and Orsino. He entrusts Alistair with the Reader, and the two start drinking together. At one point, Fenris comes in and the Reader begs Alistair to kiss her so she can be busy doing something and also to rub it in Fenris's face. Alistair agrees.

2. Cullen gives the Reader a tour of the Gallows/Circle. He asks the Reader about sleeping with the Champion and kissing the King of Ferelden.

3. Ella's funeral. Includes Anders asking her to attend and the actual funeral, where Reader comforts Anders.

4. Fluff (NEED BRAINSTORMING)

5. Fenris returns...awkward conversation (under pretense of "we can still be friends." Ends with them kissing.)

6. Varric offers the Reader advice.

7. Friendship chapter with Hawke, shows that things are no longer romantic or sexual between them.

8. Run-in with Zevran; Anders and Fenris tell him to back off

9. Reader comes in to help with Anders's clinic.

10. Reader/Anders shopping together like a married couple.

11. While shopping like a married couple or directly afterwards, they run into Fenris, who asks the Reader if they can continue their reading lessons.

12. Fluff? (NEED BRAINSTORMING)

13. Anders confronts Reader about reading lessons while she's helping at the clinic, implying that he wants her to stop seeing Fenris.

14. Fenris reading lesson turns to sex (again) (or maybe it almost does, but she stops because Anders's request comes to mind) (or has sex and feels guilty afterwards.)

15. Meet with Cullen for advice?

16. Fluff? (NEED BRAINSTORMING)

17. Reader asks Anders to go to a festival with her/she's performing and asks him to attend so he can watch. Fenris doesn't want to go. (Awkward/supportive meetings with various LI's throughout story. Hint towards Merrill's unhappiness. Anders confession/almost confession? Fenris shows up to surprise her and is unhappy to see her dancing with Anders)

18. Fenris argument about loyalty (in front of Anders, Reader shows loyalty to Anders over Fenris. Ends things with Fenris.)

19. Anders takes Reader home, she's upset, he comforts her, almost have sex but stop. (Maybe just first kiss?)

20. Talk with Isabela, she wants to pursue Fenris. "Too soon?" "Too soon. Her being supportive and verbally wondering about Merrill's avoidance of the Hanged Man. "Did you sleep with her?" "Of course I slept with her. Who haven't I slept with?" "Does that mean you and Anders--?" "No...(tell about first kiss, voice feelings for Anders)."

The direction I want to head next is to have the Reader get pregnant from either Fenris or Anders, for Anders to have a check-up with her and let her know she's pregnant, for the Reader to go to Merrill's and Merrill to be upset with her for her sleeping around and not interacting with her for so long, and then for the Dark Ritual-esque exorcism to occur. I also want a love confession and an Anders sex scene before then.

Both.

And I like the fluff idea. That's really cute. smile
