The chaos of the medical bay settled down a little bit and now Zenaida was tasked with the minor ailments of the hospital. It was good practice for the young woman who was trying her best to keep up with the demands of the waiting rooms. Zenaida sat down on a wheeled chair and pushed herself off down the hallway to come to a slow rolling stop in front of another patient with some minor injuries. She had her usual gentle smile crossed her face, happy to help those in need and make small take with new friends. Despite her age and inexperience she was one of the more popular members of the Nursing staff, and patients were usually happy to be free from some of the other, more grouchy members of the healing teams. It was something that Zenaida never understood, if you didn’t want to do the job and it made you miserable, why do it at all? She always had a passion for this, she always wanted to be a nurse for as long as she could remember and now she was here, taking on patients and feeling accomplished doing it.
When Zenaida finally finished the last of the people in the waiting area she rolled her chair down the hall back to her shared doctor’s office. She spun the chair gently as she went, letting a little giggle out past her lips before finally settling into the office. Putting her sore and tired feet up, she breathed a heavy sigh of exhaustion. Now it was her turn for a little rest. The moments of her getting rest were few and far between, and she was more than happy with sneaking five or ten minutes here and there. Nursing was one of those jobs that energized her (though it did nothing to stop her feet from getting sore walking around in heels all day…) so she was always happy to push on despite what her body might be trying to tell her. Zenaida opened her eyes and looked out her open door to catch a glimpse of Kiyoshi as he passed by. She quickly raised her hand and waved at him to catch his attention. Hmm… she wondered why he was here, maybe he needed more radiation removed or perhaps something else happened? Then again he may have just wanted to come and say hello to her. They did grow up in the same orphanage after all.
”Kiyo-chan! What brings you in today?” She asked, her face and eyes were full of a gentle warmth as she tilted her head slightly to the side as she asked the question.
