Exploring Mt. Ferros - WINNERS PAGE 3!

As you walk the crumbled path, you wonder if this is safe at all. You look nervously, assuming you aren't a fire type, at the lava bubbling up at you from the surrounding moat. Several Slugma wander around and ignore your presence as the head into the dormant volcano. However you briefly wonder why a dormant volcano has so much lava around...

"It's so hot." Idan looked like he was about to pass out. You looked at him with empathy, you really didn't feel too cool your self. In fact you had to keep taking a sip of your vial of water in order to maintain a safe temperature. It's a good thing that Kasimira was lending out one to each explorer willing to explore Mt. Ferros.

A loud roar echoes in the vicinity and you whip your head back to Idan. He's passed out on the ground while Divya's kicking his head with a paw. She stares for several moments before looking at you-- and then the rest of the group. "Alright looks like I have to lead us through here. This numb skull doesn't do well in the heat. " She mumbles something about 'handling something else'. You look slightly confused until she pours three vials of water onto Idan and a bubble surrounds him. He still doesn't wake up though.

"That will keep him alive until we get back." She mumbles something else before turning around and whipping her tail sharply. "Alright. Everyone follow me. If you get lots, and get knocked out, just send a distress signal and someone will come rescue you. Not us because we're going to continue the expedition until we find our prize." Her eyes sparkle as she speaks about the treasure at the end. You heard rumors, but you're not quite certain what it is exactly. All you know is that it's something more valuable than gold!

Your own eyes sparkle and you make sure you have everything you need.

Soon you follow Divya and the group, taking one last look at Idan before hurriedly moving forward.


The is considered a beta version of our Expeditions. Basically this is what it will be like when we actually have an expedition. For now, we'll treat it like a CYOA. I'll be assigning points to the choices bellow and you must choose carefully. Points can either Add, Subtract, or do nothing at all.

When picking your Choice, you must rp it out whether you have a Pokemon or not. (Quests are allowed for this~!) THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE PART OF THE RESCUERS GROUP. ANY POKEMON FROM ANY GUILD CAN PARTICIPATE IN EXPEDITIONS.

For any of you who complete the CYOA Regardless of winning, you will be able to use this as an Expedition point for Evolving. ( This will be explained as soon as we can sort it out, just keep hold of this so you may use it to evolve your pokemon)

Kilian, the shiny eevee, wasn't enjoying the heat at all. In fact, he'd almost wished he didn't bring his armor to this expedition. Upon seeing Idan faint from the heat, Kilian sipped his water and became not only aware of how hot it really was but more cautious as well. When Divya took charge as leader, he made sure to stay close behind. After all, he seem to be perfectly fine and was quite eager to move on. His eyes survey the area and he is careful with approaching enemies.

You rush in head first and nearly bump into Divya.

(I have a feeling this is the wrong choice but this is what Fetcher would do so this is a IC Choice, I understand if this is the wrong awesome that i might get -1 but I want to do this, in a way I think Fetcher will act because it will be fun!)
[Also I have a Question, DO your Pokemon have to get to the last thing to win the point or just be part or this?]


Fetcher look around with glee! Even though it was hot he was happy. He was a water type and that meant water beats fire! So this should be a breeze! He wanted to get this mission on and moving! He wanted to get stronger and better! Standing around was not a way of getting stronger! Nope no at all! He jump up and ran ahead! "LETS DO THIS!!" He yell out as he ran!

Rayce was right at home in the hot cave of the volcano. She was so happy to be on an exploration, she ran in, not wanting to be in the last of the group and almost bumped into their leader. "Oh... sorry."

Brynd was not certain he was too keen on entering this place again, but he supposed he had no choice at the moment. Well, he had a choice, but his pride would not let him turn back now. Just because it was a cavern full of fire... and he was a grass type pokemon...

Well, everyone was going in, so he might as well join them...

"Hey, wait up!"

Fizzle felt like he was very familiar with the dungeon. He had been in there many times before, though not always with so many other pokemon. Actually, never with so many pokemon... he'd only ever gone in on his own before. This... it was actually pretty scary, wasn't it? Dealing with other pokemon, and trying to work together for one goal. Was he going to be of any help?

He hoped so. Though he was just a performer, he wanted to do his best to help them find a decent treasure.

When the others started to head in, he followed with a quick step, though didn't go rushing in like a couple of the others. While he had wanted to, seeing them nearly run into the leader of the mission helped keep his step a bit more even than it otherwise may have been.

He wasn't alone- he needed to work with the group. So he entered with the others, not falling behind, but not heading too far ahead, either.

Naka trotted along with the group, enjoying the trip. He'd been in here before, though only with his teammate. But going in with a group only meant they got to share the adventure, and more pokemon would see more things! And with so many of them together - even a guild leader! - they were sure to be a match for any less-than-friendly pokemon they might come across. So he trotted along, humming to himself a little and looking around.

A Gothita by the name of Zoë took a sip of a water from the vial she had brought with her, clutching on to it tightly and treading on the made out path the many pokemon in front of her had created. She took her time walking through the area, being careful with where she stepped as she didn't want to misstep and fall in one of the many lava pits in the inactive volcano.

Honestly, now that she thought about it, she didn't know how she was dealing with the heat. It seemed unbearable, as if her skin was on fire... Or maybe, the water was helping her. She moved to drink a little more, just to refresh her throat, but stopped and bottled it up again. Best to save it for later, just in case, She thought, just a bit more than nervous as she surveyed the area and eyed the lurking Slugma's. Looking ahead to the group, Zoë felt somewhat strange joining them— She didn't know anyone in there anyways...

She sighed, pausing for a moment. She really needed to get out more...

 

[Kiyeena]

Kelly had been hesitant at the beginning of the expedition but had slowly gotten calmer as the group headed through the cave. There were so many of them that he felt like it would be all right. But when Idan passed out, the small zorua's nerves started to gets shaken again.

Looking around, Kelly was walking forward with the group but not really paying much attention as he scanned the area around them for enemies. He was so distracted, that the poor dark Pokemon didn't notice Divya until it was too late. Taking a few small bounds, he ran right into the group leader with a small "oof!". Falling back on his rear, he blinked and looked up at Divya, feeling a little nervous as his ears went back.

"I'm sorry! I wasn't paying attention!" He apologized quickly.


 

[Kyrieko]

His ears flickered back as he stared around at all the slugma. Then snorted at the volcano itself. Huh, so they were gonna take a trip in there, where they? Should be exciting! Right? The houndour eyed Divya as she pawwed the downed Idan. Weakling. So it was a little warm in here! He never would have let himself pass out like that! No way. Though he couldn't help but inching a little closer to see if Idan was still breathing.

The flareon lady answered that by dumping three vials of water on him. Lips peeling back briefly, Fravashi just shook his head and stepped up to hear Divya better.

So she was the leader of this little hunt? Alright. He could deal with that.

Tail twitching and ears flicking forward into a more alert position, Fravashi chuckled and easily moved forward as their little troop began to move. One might even claim that his step had a bit of eagerness to it. Though his crimson eyes always seemed watchful. One always had to keep an eye out for enemies (or thief's) after all!

"This should be quite fun!"

"Ohmy~" looking to the fallen comrade, Runi blinked a few times, and tipped his head to make sure the poor guy was still breathing. Well... if he was going to be ok... the snivy turned to continue onwards. The heat didn't bother him too much, even though he was a grass type. He'd always enjoyed warmth! just so long as the flames didn't come too close to him he was just peachy. Taking a little while to make sure the teammate left behind was alright, he followed the group.

[BUG BUG BUG BUG BUG BUG]

Jubilee stumbled forward and finally caught up with the group. An expedition! Oh boy! What kind of pokemon in their right mind would pass such an opportunity up? From the looks of things, it seems like the adventure is going to be a blast, even if Idan kind of just laying in a bubble. Passed out from the heat.

Jubilee hastily drank some of her water, not wanting to miss out on any off the fun just because of this heat.

Those who hesitated will find that Idan has actually recovered quite quickly from his fainting episode. He looks embarrassed with himself, but doesn't step out of his bubble. Rubbing a paw at the moist ground in front of him, he takes a few more steps and accompanies you. "It's going to be a tough journey for you two. Take some extra water from my pouch. You will need it.

He smiles at you as you grab the vial of water, afterwards he hurriedly makes his way into the volcano to follow the rest of the group. He stays in the back however to make sure that everyone was accounted for. It was too early in the dungeon to actually let anyone move on their own.

Divya stopped ahead and she looked particularly annoyed. Her tail snapped too and fro as she yells at you. "If anyone bumps into me one more time, I will fry you up. " She says this while the bubbling lava bursts around you. You decide that you will be a little more careful this time.

Or at least you will try to be, you have to in this environment. Rocks were falling one by one. The ground sizzled with each step and depending on your type, it might even cause you to burn.

Divya doesn't care however as she makes her way further into the dungeon. You don't have to worry about fighting Pokemon for now, at least. Divya and Idan take care of those surrounding.

Choice:

[a] You get tired of walking and ask if you could sit down for a while.

You get annoyed that you haven't done anything but walk for a while, and break off while the group isn't looking.

[c] You stay at the far end of the group and look frazzled and confused.

Rayce apologized profusely when Divya threatened the ones that bumped into her, even if it wouldn't really affect her much. When they finally moved forward, the Ponyta looked around at how rocks were falling and it was still rather hot. "I don't get it... isn't this place supposed to be dormant?" She asked.

Deciding to be safe, she moved to the back of the group.
