Crystal blue eyes gleamed in the dim light of the cave, staring out at the gaping opening opposite of the light blue ulaya resting against a damp cavern wall. He had been staring at the searing light since he had awoken not too long ago. It was almost safe enough for him to exist the safety of this cool cavern in order to continue questing for a cooler climate, a rarity during this infernal season. He detested summer with every fiber of his icy being. It was too hot, intolerably so. He was a different ulaya, for his mother was a goddess, and, by some sort of magic, produced a child whose body was made of ice. In this infernal heat, Aisu would simply begin to melt. In order to slow this process, he sought shelter in dim, dark, cool places. Even then, it was still too hot, and he could feel little drops of water sliding down his body. It bothered him to know that he was resting in the water which had melted off his own form. Sometimes he wished he could keep his water for himself, rather than leaving bits of him behind everywhere he went.

He scratched the ground before him, growing mildly impatient. He wished to leave this treacherous place. He could leave immediately if he wished, but the extreme discomfort he would feel in the heat dissuaded him from doing so. The process of melting was not painful, leastways it had not been so far, but it caused him to be sluggish and irritable, severity directly related to the severity of the melting. Although his reactions to melting had been far worse as a kit, as he would panic. Now an adult, he liked to believe he no longer displayed signs of the fear which plagued him as a child. He knew now that it was not possible for him to melt entirely; he could not melt entirely and cease to exist. He used to be terrified of the notion that heat would turn him into a little puddle on the ground and no one would know what happened to dear little Aisu, granted, he was much smaller back then, and simply carried much less mass. Therefore, it might have been possible to melt completely back then. He blinked, shuddering with the thought.

As soon as the sky dimmed and the world cooled, the icy ulaya stepped out from the cave. He shook his head, drops of water falling from his form, then gazed at the sky. He was told the mountains were to the north, and that is where he intended to be. Higher elevations were usually conducive to cooler climates, and that is where he wanted to be. For now, though, he sauntered off into the forest, in search of a cool body of water from which to drink. He felt the need to replenish the water he had lost today.

—This is a much shorter reply than I'd like it to be, but I'll get back into RPing him~—

User Image No one would no despair and lies like her. Her family had lied to their loved ones, they- her sisters and brothers were a product of damnation. When she found out their dirty little secret it had consumed her enough to go off and find her 'father'. But the pain in her chest of having to go through telling him she knew. Was terrible. Her heart ached her for her father. What he had to go through, watching them all grow up without ever knowing him. Could she really blame her mother? Well, she did. She blamed everyone for her pain but she kept it inside, and watched from afar til her father disappeared. That's when she left home without a trace and now to be found here. In the mountains. COLD.

She shivered a little, the wind breezing through her body making her fur look like the ocean in its movements. Her fur tuff all about and in a mess. Her short furry tail. Yep, she was her father's child alright- and likewise her mother, which harbored a fiery demon like their grandmother.

So seeing Nana in the snow? Most likely the worst idea she ever had. Every step was harsh but she got used to it. Sniffing about and jumping to gain speed instead of feeling like quicksand in the snow.

Finally the sun was coming out, having gone out way too early, but now the sun started to lay over her and it felt much better than this morning. Still- she shivered and started making her way through the trees to get to an opening for the sun to shine directly on her, and warm her. While doing that, a misstep happened and she plummeted down the hillside and started to roll until she was a snowball... The tumbling ended with her flying up and landing in a heep of branches. All were old vines in which entangled her and knocking her out on impact.

Leaving her almost suspended just slightly above the ground with tons of snow and branches around her.

He jerked his head upright at the disturbance he heard, eyes looking in its direction. Something was coming this way, fast. He swiveled around to face whatever this thing was, paws spread, head low, gaze intense. He did not like confrontations, and it was not unlike him to instinctively take a defensive stance. For now, his claws gripped the ground as the sound grew ever louder, continuing towards the clearing. However, no massive beast made its presence known; there was no fight to be had. Instead, an Ulaya flew from a bundle of snow, leaves, and wood as it crashed into the trees, and she landed in some mess of vines which caught her just above the ground. He blinked in confusion, raising his head, his muscles relaxing as he viewed her hanging there. He waited for her to stir but she continued to hang there, entirely motionless.

Now Aisu grew concerned for the female, and he quickly trotted over, steps light, urgent. He prayed to the gods that this female had not met her tragic end in this accident. He came to her side, examining the situation. She seemed to be alright, for there was not much discernible damage, nothing lethal, at the very least. Though, her neck could be snapped, or she could have hit her head too hard —an aneurysm could have ruptured or she could have suffered from a subdural hematoma, but these were concepts beyond him—, or some sort of other unfortunate internal damage may have occurred. He cut the individual vines with his claws, and slowly her body slacked closer to the floor. When she was finally free from the tangled jumble, he gently nosed her, carefully adjusting her body in its suspended position. Eventually, he managed to find the scruff of her neck and took it in his jaws, hoisting her up —with a greater deal of difficulty than he would ever admit— and taking her, rather, gently dragging her to the edge of the river he had found. He gently placed her on the ground, her head close enough to the water for him to splash it on her face, but far enough away so that the small waves did not hit her with every advance. She was breathing, this much he knew, so she was still alive; it was just a matter of getting her to regain consciousness.

So he dipped his paw into what was cool water, but to him everything above water's freezing temperature felt warm. A disdainful look crossed his face, but he decided that waking this female was more important than his own discomfort. He splashed water upon her face, hoping it would be enough to wake her.

User Image Her neck felt sore- and her body opened in cuts and marks across her body- like a decorative doll. Which when he pulled her out, she grumbled in her subconscious- until the splashing hit her face. Shaking her head a little, then finally her eyes slitted open. "Arg...." She managed to remark before slowly getting up with a very very bad pain in her neck. Moving her head to each side then making her eyes force open, well- at least one of them.

Registering that there was another ulaya at her side- she rolled on to her stomach and slowly pushed up. A tail waving behind her with some of it, a mind of it's own. "Mmmm.. Where am I." Slowly shaking her head again, causing more pain- then putting a hefty and warm paw against her neck. "Oww..." Then finally, she looked to the Ulaya... "Thank you.." She was well aware of her surroundings now that she could see. He had brought her here- but where was here. She'd been stuck in the thorns.

"Mmm... what's your name- savior?" She used to be a savior too many when she was little- but this time. She was saved.. and the ulaya looked somewhat- "WOAH!? Are you ok!? OW OW OW~" When she fully got a good look at him. He looked like ice! Was he like- dead!? Close to dead!? Or cold!? She hadn't SEEN anything that could produce THAT much cold to FREEZE AN ULAYA!?

"We have to get you some help! Um.. Come closer to me. I can keep you warm." Especially with her excess furry nature. Bringing her arms around him and pulling him close. "Your so cold!" Almost ignoring her own pains to bring him any sort of comfort from the cold... little did she know..
