Roll an Eight: City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.

Lenore covered her nose with her sleeve as the stench began to assault her. Retrieving Sheoldred's pokeball, she sent out the metapod.

'This was not a pleasant field for battling at all. Joscelin frowned at the grime and broken concrete street. "Disgusting," he grumbled and received a Innni of agreement from the Victini at his side.
"Good luck, Nike," he muttered as the Victini took the field, tails fluttering to keep her hovering about the mounds of trash.

Her sleeve still over her nose, Lenore called out to the metapod. "Tackle!" Sheoldred glared at the victini and blood began to pool upon her. The blood launched Sheoldred at the victini.

Nike didn't managed to move fast enough, the blood launched pod catching her square and she gave an irritated little vee sound.
"Overheat!' Joscelin called out.
Nike focused, drawing energy till her fur seemed to smolder before releasing it.

"It is alright beautiful, Safeguard!" Jin called, ignoring the launching pod thing... metapod? Ugh, bug pokemon.
Victini blinked serenely at the metapod and surrounded herself in a mystic veil of protection and gave a soft chitter, planning.

"Incinerate! Burn it alll." Jin called. Hopefully the attack would also get rid of some of the garbage smell.
Niki cheeks puffed out and she shot out a line of flame at the metapod, burning some of the trash in her progress.

The blood swirled in front of Sheoldred, deflecting some of the flames. "Electroweb!" The metapod fired a bolt of electrified webbing at the victini.

The flames engulfed the blood that rose up to protect Sheoldred and washed over the metapod before being put out by more blood. Lenore knew the metapod had no chance at victory, but knew Sheoldred wouldn't accept that. She'd just get mad at me if I recalled her. Opening her book, Lenore decided to just wait for the battle to end as Sheoldred fired more webbing.

"Zen Headbutt" Jin called, mixing it up a little bit and looked at the trainer and then the metapod. They could drag this out a bit to make it a decent fight or raise the bug to the ground. He hadn't decided which was kinder.
Nike glowed in acknowledgment of her orders and dove at the metapod.

Sheoldred was flung backwards by the headbutt, but tendrils of blood latched onto the victini before launching the metapod forward.
