The Maul was fairly busy, and Amarus waited at a fountain's lip, a veritable tea party spread out around her. Her Social Justice bot was standing behind her, and she watched as he basically accosted an older demon passing by. "Do you even know how much capitalism makes us all suffer?!" he asked, grabbing hold of her shopping bag as she tried to brush past him uncaring. She then ripped it from his manikin hands and started to beat him with it. He was whimpering.

Amarus was completely torn between bursting into laughter, and being entirely irritated. Mostly because he never shut up with his dumb slogans and his awareness campaigns over things she didn't even think existed. "I wonder if Olivia's bot is giving her trouble... like you," she paused, and then stared blankly at her Social Justice bot.

"Do you even drink anything? Or eat? Come over here so I can keep an eye on you," she told him, as he continued to babble something at passers-by about how they shouldn't hate or discriminate. Or something.

Amarus thought: This is entirely the wrong personality for my care, as she tied a ribbon to his belt loops so he couldn't stray too far while she prepared the spread of food a little better. On the bright side, no one would pester her about her activities so long as Guard Dog Social Candle-Jacking-Irritating Bot was pacing around the fountain by her side.

They hadn't done much since leaving the gym, or what would be considered much by most creeples' standards. Olivia took her new companion on her usual rounds; to her dorm (introductions to the minipets, which was basically just pointing to them all) and then to the various locations around campus of staring. There wasn't a lot of conversation, only a few compliments, mostly since Olivia didn't say much and her HumanBot seemed to only react to things. Which really was fine.

But now it was for a change of scenery, thanks to an invitation by someone she hadn't seen in quiet some time. Originally plans were to go find another little haunt, but once she got the text from Amarus to meet her at the Maul, things changed and there seemed to be a new happy glow in her eyes.

"You're so nice to take me here," the bot seemed to be aglow as she was once they made it to the maul still hand in hand (it was easier to keep it close and it just felt rather nice. It also didn't seem to mind, it had told her as much). They weaved through the crowd that had collected itself there that day, silently making her way through as her pseudo-human expressed how great she was at maneuvering.

Eventually she made her way to the fountains, where Amarus had mentioned she would be and made a beeline to her friend with a little skip in her step. It had been so long since they had seen one another, one of the last meet ups in a similar location. There seemed to be someone else present, or at least something; akin to what she was linked to at the moment but a different model perhaps. Either way, the ghost ghoul got a happy stare and a little wave along with a very happy, "Hello!"

The second Amarus spotted Olivia, she got to her feet and sped up to meet the ghoul, opening her arms and attempting to pull Olivia into a tight spectral embrace that included some spinning and a lot of internal affection.

"You are growing up so fast," Amarus said, and it was unclear as to whether or not she was serious. She smiled to herself, glad to see Olivia here. The lock around her chest grew hot again. Olivia, fighting the Insanity Phoenix, throwing a brick at it. Instead of the overwhelming pride she'd once felt, the memory hurt Amarus: the futility of it all, knowing that they hadn't stopped the bird, hadn't saved the Isles. Faustus was gone forever. The memory choked her joy out like weeds smothering a growing plant. Amarus tried to hide it with her pokerface.

"I am glad you came," she said, her voice soft, turning away from Olivia and heading back to the fountain to their spread of food and drinks. "Tea?" she asked, offering.

Amarus suddenly remembered that Social Justice Bot was tethered to her. "What should I call this thing, anyway?" she mused aloud, "Olivia, meet..." Amarus scanned her surroundings for a noun, "Magazines."

She shrugged internally. "Magazines, meet Olivia," she said, gesturing vaguely at the ghoul she held so dear. Magazines was busy cowering behind a ficus because there was a mini trying to eat its pants.

This seemed to be the customary Amarus greeting, and Olivia came to expect it and braced herself a little for the tight hug and the little spin (and thankfully managed to let go of the bot's hand in time, least she be spun around and thrown or something). The bot didn't seem to like the motion, pulling its now free hand to its chest, with its painted expression it was hard to totally gauge its emotion though.

With the motion complete, Olivia found herself a little confused. And mostly with Amarus' comment about her growth. The petite ghoul couldn't help as her head found itself looking down at herself to see if anything seemed different, or if even the floor looked a little further away. It helped her at least not see that pained expression on her dear friend's face, that one she tried to hide. But still, she didn't seem any different. Perhaps Amarus was seeing something she didn't? Many creeple seemed to.

It made a little more sense to her at least, allowing the confusion to melt away with ease for her to follow the ghost ghoul to where she had set up their little dining for the day. The arrangement struck Olivia in awe when she got closer, her eyes widening and her lips curling upward. It was so cute! And so carefully arranged, and filled a little more with items than her last two picnics (no offense to them...) "If its not too hot," Olivia chirped in response as she sat herself down upon the spread, still staring at everything. (Usually consumable items were something the little hoarder would actually decline, but today she felt very inclined to take it. Amarus had set out such neat things after all).

Amarus' mention of her ... spirited bot brought her attention to her own, and those bright blue eyes drifted over to the lingering machine that had obediently followed her to their destination. Her gaze turned to what was now deemed Magazines and she offered the humanbot a very friendly little "hello" before she turned back to her own.

She hadn't thought of a name either for her's and now seemed the time to do it. Like the ghost, she tried to think of common objects, but this time with association to the creature at hand. It was how a lot of the wights she knew got their names when none were known. "This is... Gym? No... School? No... Paint? No... "Homework." Because, well... she was.

The Human bot's hands went back to her chest, again her expression a mystery but from the tone in that mechanical voice, she seemed to like it. "You gave me a name, you're so kind!"

Olivia turned to Amarus rather pleased.
