Name:Tokira Orientation: Gay Gender: Male Parents: NA Siblings: Mate: N/A Breedings: N/A Offspring: N/A Friends: N/A Personality/ Background: Born to an ill mother, Tokira was abandoned at the edge of a herd in hopes that someone would take him in with kindness in their hearts. Kindness however...was not something purely given to those like Toki. Not there. Unfortunately for Toki, things such as kindness and freedom were not rights...but privileges given to those who were worthy. As an orphan with no family ties...he was certainly not seen as worthy. Instead of taken in as a son, he was destined to live his life as a servant or slave.
As he grew, Toki's owners seemed to realize potential. He wasn't as dull witted as the majority of other slaves...in fact he was quite smart. Smart...strong...resigned to his position, he could be trained and bartered as a companion. Not now of course...but once he was older...Their minds set o the matter, Toki was well educated...pushed...trained. he was even encouraged to think of such things as hobbies. Especially one as profitable as his ability to create beads.
While Toki did his best to please them, it was hard bettering himself for the profit of others. Especially when he could never be quite good enough. And there were questions...always questions. What made him different from any other slave or owner? Was it truly right to have a "place?" What was beyond this herd and its beliefs? Likes: Knowledge, his tail, soft things, beads, solitude Dislikes: Expectations, set paths, forced social interaction, stereotypes Powers: Tokira is able to mold small shapes in natural substances such as wood or stone. He uses this ability to make and design beads...because...well beads are pretty. Toki must have physical contact with the substance and of course he ca only make very small shapes. He can only make a few at a time and it drains him slightly for each bead he makes. Available for Mate: Yups Available for Breeding: With extensive rp Posts in: tada!

ACTUALLY, I don't think you need to count this as a power. To be completely honest. It might mentally wear him out to make them, becuase there might be lots of concentration put into making those beads. But you don't have to make it a power if you don't want to <3

Lol well if you think that as a herla he's capable of making tiny beads then sure....we can just make it a crafting ability. LOL I probably didn't word it correctly since I'm always using some sort of earth magic with Toki. Thats why I was so confuzzled Poi...confuzzled! lol originally, he has a "power" or magical ability to shape the beads by molding wood or stone ect ...i mean it could be used as other means but he just uses it to make bead. If you'd rather him just have the crafting ability...I'm sure I can work with that.

I don't think Poi is telling you that she wants you to put his ability how she wants to you put it. She just wants you to define it more so that we can understand if its an ability like a skill or if its an ability like a power.
Does he make these beads by the sheer skill of his two hooves or is he assisted by some special force that resides in him?
To be perfectly honest, it's unclear to me as well.

I dont think I would have placed under "power" if it was a crafting skill, thats rather silly. A power automatically to me states that is a certain force or whatever inside them that they use.
As I did state in the previous post, it is normally a form of earth magic that he has and is able to mold shapes from pieces or stone or wood. It drains him consideraby to use and he can only make tiny objects.
I was asking what would be more suitable? the crafting or the "power" way.

Ok, here's where I got confused. You're considering a form of magic that he uses to shape the beads. I was looking at as some sort of craftsmanship skills. Now that you've said that. Then yes it is a power. And you've given clear limitations to said power.
When I read his profile that was the sketchy part, I would put this sentence in specifically "it is normally a form of earth magic that he has and is able to mold shapes from pieces or stone or wood. It drains him consideraby to use and he can only make tiny objects." for his powers.
Because that describes it perfectly. Now that we've gotten that figure out. Approved.
