Kat smiled as she looked about another room she had rented, everything was in place.. activities. All sorts of things. "Ouh this will be so much fun." she squealed, "We'll sell cookies and.." The imfamous Dtech 013 cut her off "This is ridiculous. What purpous could this possibly serve?!" The woman shot him a glare, easily making him cower before she beamed again. "it bilds self esteem sillyhead!" she giggled, going back to tidying up the place. "Here go put these outside." she passed a handful of papers back. "Signups...?" 013 slouched. As if he was refusing to go do something like that. "Uh-huh!... Hm... I'll need a man to help me. Got to give both female and male influences!" She nodded, 013 was out the door at that moment. "Call blade or somethin." he called over his shoulder, before he was outside and putting up posters for parents to see. "It'll be GOOD FOR YOU." Bree snarled at the near-preteen, it had been hard enough to keep him under control before... now with various hormones threatning to burst forth at any moment it was a constant on edge for the new mother.
"It'll be awful!" Jekel whined, tail giving a loud smack against the wall in frustration. His eyes narrowed and his arms crossed, teeth clenched behind his lips.
Bree could feel her hair, and fur, stand on end at the boys defiance. "Oh ho, don't EVEN...." her voice raised, causing a few dtech to scuttle back into a their rooms and away from the scene.
She took a deep breath Remember the course... Beating children is bad. Baddd. Her voice then hit an eerily nice pitch. The kind that said, I'm only being like this until we get home and I murder you. "You're going."
Jekel's tough look seemed to seep out his bladder. Or it would have if he'd been younger... He gulped, yep. He'd just screwed himself over. Farewell room and toys and outdoors for the next year. He huffed despite all this, proving once again he would never learn. Just somethign about him wanted to... Not listen. To anyone. Or anything. "Fine."
Bree raised a brow at the harsh tone, though part of her couldn't blame him... She'd been the same way. Still, if she let him go he'd go out and eat people. Can't have that on her conciance... Plus, Dcorp had some nastey things on her, she had no choice but to 'raise him ******** and their blackmal.
With that settled she moved up to the door, droppin goff the little bit of information in the prepared box. "See. Easy. Now lets get back home so i can revamp your room.."
Jekel flinched.Quote: Your name: Bree Zepke Child's Name: Simon Jekel Sepke Gender: Male DNA: Tiger Shark Contact Information: I run my buisness at home, so just call me there. "Keanu out of the street, PLEASE!" Called the womans voice, as she rushed up to pull the boy away, as another car rolled past. The white fabric which ran down to her midthigh waving a bit in the wind. "Don't get hit by those, they are not nice." She called, sighing quietly.
The boy laughed, rubbing one hand through his hair. "Ah mum, it's not going to hit me. they stop to let people pass you've seen it!" He called, recalling those lovely intersections with the white lines to lead you across. He didn't realize how the light system worked just yet. Which made his adoptive mother all the more nervous.
"Not always, so please be careful?" She asked, taking the boys hand, and beginning to quide him along. "Come now, let's go sign you up for that new thing. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. They said there would be activities, and such." She babbled, hoping to remind the boy of their purpose.
At the mention of the upcoming events he pulled his hand free, jumping ahead happily, the new black shirt with brilliant forest green celtic runes on is lifting as he did. "A'yeah! I remember! I bet we'll do lost of good things to help people like heros! Maybe rescue a village, or slay a big bad monster! It'll be great!" He called, spinning lightly, and nearly straying into the street again before bouncing back toward the building ahead where the banners could be seen.
"S-slay... monsters..?" She called, biting her lip. She hoped he wouldn't be too dissapointed, and that it wasn't true. She didn't want her little baby out fighting monsters, he was just... Well a baby. Certainly perhaps helping people, and campfires? But none of that nonsense. "I'm sure it will be a lot of fun." She replied, picking up her slow pace to catch up to the boy a bit. She soon reached the door, where Keanu was hopping along proclaiming the other wonderful thing he'd be helping with, and dropped off the form for him. "Now let's go grocery shopping before we go home. Perhaps we can find something nice for you at the store?" She said, gaining a grin from the boy before he darted off.
"Keanu! That is the wrong way! And no presents if you run off!" She called, causing the boy to stop midstep, and look back sheepishly.
"Alright... But which way then?" He asked, ears drooping.
"This way." She chimed happily, smiling now, and turning back the way they'd come.
A smile replaced the previous face as the boy quickly ran to catch up, obviously bought to play nice for now. Besides, maybe there would be something interesting to see at the store. "Alright! But let's be fast, I want to be home soon incase they call!"Quote: Your name: Raja Child's Name: Keanu Gender: Male DNA: Snow Leopard Contact Information: (Fako address here~! In the early parts of the morning, a blur of pink and black sped though the hallways of the house, sneaking into the master bedroom. The small creature skulked along the floor and ended up near the bed. It eyed the sleeping lump in the bed which had a wide grin upon the face, probably from a really enjoyable dream. Perfect... It glanced at the clock and waited until 7 AM sharp. 3...2...1...NOW! It pounced the figure on the bed, causing it to shriek horribly in surprise.
"It's today! It's today! Wake up, Mommy! It's today! Please?!" The small child jumped up and down on the bed, trying to get all the attention of the sleeping one. The frills on the pink dress it was wearing bobbed up and down and a wide grin appeared from under the shadows of its hat.
The figure on the bed, however, coughed from screaming quite loudly. Her voice returned to her as she glared at the child, now standing innocently. "Ugh...Vivina...I told you not to wake me up this way...What is it this time? What is this 'it' you are talking about?" Etira rubbed her eyes and yawned.
"The D-Scouts! The D-Scouts! You said I could join! Hurry up! I wanna go an' sign up now!" Vivina jumped excitedly again and rolled over on the bed. The sugar glider child looked up into the ceiling and sighed. I wonder if it'll be lots of fun! Mebbe I'll see some new friends! "Weeh~ I'll be downstairs waiting for breakfast!" She sped out the door and disappeared beyond the corner.
"Ugh...why so early in the morning?" Etira yawned again and, despite her desire to go back to sleep, she got herself up and got ready. After all, this D-Scouts sounded like a really nice thing for Vivina. She could use the activity to get more active and make new friends. She smiled into the mirror and went into the bathroom.
Later...
"Mommy! There's the bulding! Hurry an' get the form ready!" Vivina dashed for the building where she was to drop off the sign up sheet. She looked back once at her 'mother' in which she calls Etira by, although she knew that she was only an adoptive mother. Smiling contently as her mother jogged along faster, she didn't realize she had reached the building and ran lightly into the door. She rubbed her face and began to laugh.
"Vivina! Slow down! I'm not as active in the morning, you know that!" Etira jogged along sleepily and caught up to her child. She looked at Vivina laughing and wondered what had happened. She shrugged and made her way for the second floor to drop off the form. She got to the room and took out the folded paper which was in her pocket. She unfolded the paper and placed it in the folder on the door. Well, that was all. And now to wait until Vivina's first day as a D-Scout...Quote: Your name: Etira Devon Ourellius Child's Name: Vivina Ourellius Gender: Female DNA: Sugar glider Contact Information: My house number should be fine. The first thing Raven saw in the morning was a sheet of paper being waved in her face. She squinted uncomfortably and pushed it away, moving Anoki's good arm out of the way at the same time. "It is far too early in the morning for these games, Anoki Kenelm."
Anoki was not put off. "I w-wanna j-j-join," he said loudly. He'd found the notice slipped underneath the door of their apartment and gotten Mahou to read it with him the previous night. Much as he would have liked to try it himself, there were lots of long words... "emergency" and "information" and so on. But with help, he realized that whatever it was would be fun, and so he had to sign up. As soon as possible.
Which, unfortunately for Raven, meant getting a face full of paper at six in the morning.
And unfortunately for Anoki, it meant having to deal with a rather testy Raven for two hours of getting dressed and breakfast before the two set out down the labrynth of hallways.
"Are you quite sure this is necessary?" Raven asked yet again. She was exhausted from being up so early, and clutched a travel mug of coffee in one hand. The other held a sheet of paper that had been painstakingly filled out by the two of them, and was a bit damp in the corner from where her first cup of coffee spilled.
Unsure what his mother was saying, Anoki nodded. Usually when he did that, things went better than when he shook his head.
"It is a commitment, you realize this. There will likely be additional assignments, as well as places you will have to go, and events you will have to attend."
Anoki nodded again, this time more eagerly. He got the gist of that bit of warning, and it only made him happy. "It'll b-be f-f-fun. L-lots of p-people."
Unable to sway him, Raven could only sigh and hope that she could foist the responsibilities of getting Anoki to these meetings on Mahou. She was overburdened as it was. But with little other choice, she dropped the damp form inside the box outside room 237.

We reside in the fifth apartment in the housing sector of D-Corp. Measures have been taken so that any message delivered there will reach me within minutes, and so that would be the fastest and most sure way of contact. Emergency information: If I am not reachable for some reason, Mahou Runako will be at home, and may make decisions on my behalf. Should be reachable most of the day. Emergency information: [Barton-local phone number here.] Ask for Coronaviridae; she's the kid's godmother and should have everything on-hand if something comes up and I can't be there. Indigo carried the folded piece of paper as if it were a fragile relic as she crept through the second-floor hallway. Tizzy rode on her shoulder, calling off room numbers as they passed them. "233, 235, 237--there it is, Indigo! That's the room!" the little faceless exclaimed, gesticulating at the door in question. Her "mount" grinned. "Thanks, Auntie Tee, but I can read the numbers myself!" With that, she pattered over to the door, dropping the piece of paper off in the envelope--and lingering long enough to thumb through the other applications in there. Tizzy frowned a little, but said nothing, instead winding down one of Indigo's upper arms to peer at the papers. The velvet worm didn't recognize everyone else who'd signed up, but she did recognize Anoki's name, and so gave a shrill squeak of happy surprise. "'Noki's gonna be in the scouts, too, auntie! This is going to be so fun!" Tizzy, more concerned about privacy violation than fun, gave a throaty little rumble. "I suppose. Come on, Indigo, let's go home and get some lunch."

Through the hallway strode a lithe, tall figure, clad in the usual business suit- with subtle changes so as to add in a dash of sex appeal to the normally dull outfit. This young man's hand was currently occupied by a claw that doubled in size and could most easily crush it entirely by that point- and unfortunately Axel didn't seem to notice that. "Come on, kiddo, it'll be good for you!"
"N-N-N-NO-NOOOOO."
Nero was in something that few got to see as of yet, but what his caretaker saw often. A panic attack. All four eyes were wide and darting about, looking ready to water. A little unknown fact; Nero was unable to cry. If he was able to, there was a large chance he'd be doing so now. "I-I-IT'S SC-SC-SCAAA-SCARY!" He shrieked in dismay, his entire being lit with fright.
Axel really wished he could have just left the little rugrat at home. He sighed and continued dragging the little guy by his pinsir. "It is NOT scary. It'll be FUN."
"N-N-N-"
"Don't say it." The man finally turned, looking down at the green boy in dismay, "If you don't be good I'm going to make you stay at home all alone next time." That brought instant silence. The scorpion simply stared up at the man, breathing heavy and his entire little body shaking. "M-mn..." His lip quivered.
Axel ruffled his hair, wishing he could just turn back on this whole idea... But he knew this was for the best. Nero needed to get out more, and needed to toughen up a bit. He felt the grip on his hand tighten almost painfully and jerked his hand away, a feeling of regret coming over him already because of what he had to do. "Fine, go back to the car. I don't want to deal with you right now." And then he turned and began walking away.
It was sort of cruel, yes, but he needed to do this. He wouldn't spoil his child. Nero would become tough enough to care for a nasty dragon. He had to, and Axel knew it. His charge's eyes widdened, "B-b-but! N-n-no! I-I-I-" He started to follow his guardian.
"GO BACK!" Now, it was extremely rare for Axel to snap at anyone.. He had his own way of expressing anger. His current raise of voice spooked the younger male, and left him shocked.
"D-daddy...!" He stayed where he was, claws clacking frantically. "B-b-b..." He let out a small whine, shifting from foot to foot. Being alone was scary. Especially in this building. Who knew where zombies could be hiding, after all? Or mean strangers? He kept still though, neither going forward or back, trembling. All four eyes kept on his father's form, and his entire body lurched when the man disapeared around the corner. "DADDDDY!" He shrieked and ran forward suddenly, "I-I'm sorry! I-I'm s-sorry! I-I'll go! I-I wo-won't be b-bad an-anymores I-I promi-promise! I-I'm so-sorry!"
He hiccoughed as he reached his guardian, promptly attatching himself to his leg. "Unnnh.."
Axel looked down and sighed, "It's alright, you.." He stroked over his hair, "Calm down... Shh... It's okay... You want a piggy back ride? Huh?"
Nero looked up and nodded meekly. He then, without any help, climbed onto his father's back and held tight. Axel grunted a bit- the boy was getting a bit too big for this... In a little while their ritual would be ended. Oh well...
He continued onwards now, and stopped before a door. "237...."Quote: Your name: Axel *Last name isn't of importance* Child's Name: Nero *see above* Gender: Male DNA: Golden Scorpion Contact Information: You have my information already, spoke with you the second day of school awhile back. Or my brother, at [number]. Thanks. "You'll like it." Axel muttered on his way back to the car, "I know it."
"It-it's s-s-scary." Nero protested softly.
His guardian sighed.

Faidrae watched the young girl carefully, as she skipped off ahead. In ehr chubby little hands she clutched her sign up sheet, carefully filled out. In pink, of course.

" Good girl ! Now, where do you think we need to put the sheet Ana ?"
" Da boxy ! " The little girl stood on her tippy toes and slipped the form in.

"But what are they Da'?" Earako asked, tugging on Michael's arm and looking up at him impatiently. "It's, I don't know, camping and stuff." Michael was at a loss. He hadn't had the type of childhood that included things like 'scouts'. But it would be good for her, he knew that much. His little bat girl was too shy, she needed to go out and make friends. Find people to care about. He didn't want her growing up lonely. "Cam'ing?" She asked, her usual half whisper carrying strangely in the empty hallway, making her sound very small. He couldn't help but feel a little guilty, knowing he'd soon be throwing her into an unfamiliar situation. But it would be good for her. He kept reminding himself of that point. And bats were social creatures, right? "CamPing." He corrected her. Lately, he'd decided it best that she dropped her lazy habits when it came to speaking. He couldn't baby her forever. "And I'm not sure, Kid. But you'll like it, ok." There, that was the place he was supposed to drop off the form. Good, he'd had enough wandering for one day. He really didn't have time for all these little side trips. And he'd promised Earako they'd go look at kittens later. Quote: Your name: Michael Child's Name: Earako Gender: Female DNA: Albino Bat Contact Information: You can contact me at any time on my cell phone. The number should be in your files. "Come on lets goooo." Lian ran down the hall and stopped a few doors down.
"You can't go running down the halls here, get back here now." Sciz stalked up rapidly behind him trying to get a hold of his collar.
"But it might close."
"Its not going to magicaly dissappear if you're not there in the next second." He grabed the little panda by his jacket hood before he darted again. "Here take this." Sciz handed Lian the filled out form.
"Okay." he grabbed the paper out of Sciz's hand imediately ran off again.
"Lian come back, 237 is right here." He sighed has the Lian put the paper in the envelope.

Sciz groaned and grabbed the boy by the jacket's collar and lead him out of the building.

Jayoku watched as Chath tottered down the hallway his shiney stone still on hand though he now totes it in bag attatched to his side. Jayoku was still amazed how fast he had grown his speech was much better though his grammer tended to be horendous.
She slowed as she saw Chath stop and examine something on the board.
"What is it Chath?" she asked putting a hand on her shoulder only to have him pull away. She couldn't tell if his skinw as getting more sensitive or if he disliked being touched. Perhaps it was a bit of both.Chath's eyes skimmed over the form and poster advertising the D-corp scouts. It sounded very interesting to him.
"Hey mama, I want to join this." he said pointing to the poster and was already reaching for an application form, "Do you have a pen?" he asked next as the sound of the form popping off from the others sounded.Jayoku hesitated. With Chath's current sensitivity she wasn't sure if she should let him join, but he did need to make more friends... "Well... you have been very careful with your skin condition, I can't see why not. But you must promise me to be careful." she cautioned handing him a pen which he quickly snatched up. He started to fill out the form and paused seeral times to make clear of spelling mistakes and check other thigns he didn't know. Once finshed he placed it in the envelope and then handed it to Jay. "Let's get going I want to make sure they get it." he said a bit impatient.Jay could only sigh as Chath started off down the hallway again. "Come on Yin, get going already!" With arms wrapped around another's, she tried her hardest to grasp the cat as tightly as she could, yanking her forward with all her might. "Come ON." Sahra just felt like screeching, but knew well enough that if she did she would disturb all of the classes around her, and get herself into one heap of trouble, and she didn't want none of that, at least not here. "Oh know I'm loosing my balance--" Sinking to the ground, a brown and gold furred creature, a cat by the name of Yin, closed her eyes tightly, and pulled one wrist up to her forehead in a dramatic pose. "Oh I can't go on any longer!"She couldn't take it! She had been doing this the whole way here! It just wasn't fair, why did Yin always have to make fun of her and do these sorts of things to her? "Please Yin? I 'dun want to screw around right now." Sahra knew that the applications would never expire, and the turn in box wasn't going to just get up and walk away, but she had other places to be! More things to do, and so little day left to achieve them all! "What are you so worried about?" The cat girl mumbled, clicking her teeth as she collected herself, slinking upward back onto her feet. "I don't think there's any sort of deadline, and it's not like you're going to take two steps and see your life pass before your very eyes." She was joking around of course, even though both portions of her sentence where very true, she hadn't and would never mean any harm by what she did or said, she was merely being the playful kitty she had always been."I don't know, I just kind of want to get this over with, you know, all quick and painless like." Yep, that was it, for once the situation wasn't all complicated like she made most, in her eyes this was simply a task of delivering a sort of message, but different since it benefited her. But she had an open canvas at home calling her and piano lessens later that night with Adonai, so she didn't want to fool around all that much; and after dropping a sheet of paper off into some odd contraption in front of a room number "237," they totted off towards home. Quote: Your name: Mew Karchekanon Child's Name: Sahra Juvielle Karchekanon Gender: Female DNA: Cheetah Contact Information: I am located at the same place as before, there have been no changes.
