Biskoto was surprised that Thanatos would actually ask Amphi out without her urging him to keep in contact with what few friends he had managed to make. However, she was also pleased that he decided to do so, because it was about time for her to start nagging at him to stop people watching, and start interacting with others.
He had sent the ghoul a text the previous day about accompanying him to a chocolate buffet that was highly recommended by a skelevision program featuring food from around Halloween. Since it was a tea time buffet, he had asked her to meet him at the school gate at 3, so that they would reach the cafe before 4 - when the buffet starts - to avoid any queues. At 5 minutes to the appointed meeting time, he was already there.
Wouldn't want to make a lady wait, after all.

Amphi was even more surprised that Thana had texted her. After the Tear incident, she hadn't ventured from her room much. There was general shopping trips for food and minipet foods.
And then there was a text message from Thana!
She missed Thana so much.
She made it to the meeting spot, maybe 2 minutes early, waving her hand at Thana. Her hair was neatly braided away, but the outfits never changed, this time she had her short shorts, bikini top and zipped up sweater. Leggings and boots completed it.
"Hi Thana." She came to stop by him, letting out a loud WHEW before looking up at him with a smile. "Hi, sorry, I got so excited. It's been so long again! Hi." She laced her hands together, looking at Biskoto. "Biskoto." She held her hands out to the snake to come to her, she could carry her okay.

"Amphi darling~" Biskoto hissed, extending her head towards the mermaid, gently bumping into her hand, and rubbing against her palm, encouraging head pets; oh yes, her one true non-familiar love, "It'ssss been too long! Oh darling, you're assss gorgeoussss as ever! It had been too long!" Even though she didn't see the world like everyone else, she could tell.
"Good afternoon," Thanatos greeted once his familiar was done fussing over the ghoul, since there seemed to mad be no stopping her once she was into it. He had examined her dressing, and determined that it was decent attire for a cafe; she was pretty covered up... For a mermaid, "Excited? For the chocolate or for me?"
So he couldn't resist; it was fun to tease her.
"Or me?" Biskoto piped up, hissing softly with the most hopeful look a snake could give.

Amphi's cheek was instantly nuzzled with Biskoto's scaly one, then her hand's lifted to run over the snake's large form. Ahhhhhhh She missed Biskoto so much. "You are flattering me Biskoto." She flushed but smiled regardless, "And If I am still pretty, then you're still the most gorgeousest prettiest snake in all of Halloween." But no it was true, Biskoto was the best.
Amphi's head turned up to Thana, noticing that he was checking her out before looking down. "I made sure to cover up a little more than usual." She flushed, ahemming. "Well both I think. Chocolate is amazing, But so is Thana. I think I am doubly excited."
She laughed at Biskoto. Reaching out to hug the snake again.
"You are really the cutest Biskoto. I am excited for all of the things." She whispered to the snake. "How have you been Thana? Staying out of trouble?"

"Oh, thank you, Amphi darling..." Biskoto positively beamed when she was complimented, "You jussssst know the right thingssss to ssssay to make a ssssnake happy!"
Coiling around the back of Amphi's neck before nuzzling her cheek affectionately; she was sort of but not really resting on the ghoul's shoulders - she wouldn't want to crush the poor, petite thing! Most of her weight was still being carried by Thanatos.
"Oh, you know me," He laughed, offering her his arm since Biskoto was so bent on being near her, "When have I ever been in trouble? You, on the other hand... I wouldn't say the same."
Amphi was always getting in trouble, it seemed to him.

"Anything for my favorite snake in the world Biskoto." Since the snake wasn't keen on letting her go, Thana had moved his arm to for the offer, the mermaid taking it and looking up at him. He was always such a proper gentleman, and she would admit that Biskoto was a lot heavier than she looked.
Thana just made it look easier to carry her. But she appreciated the snake's coil around her, keeping her free hand up to Biskoto's head and patting it gently.
"Yes, when have YOU ever been in trouble Thana." She smiled again, thinking that the reaper kept a very...very....veeeeeeeeeeeeeery low profile.
"Well if it helps, the latest trouble doesn't seem as bad as most of the trouble I get in." She pursued her lips a little, "I found out what my mom looks like. and My dad. And I have their names now." She tilted her head up, "Mom was a reaper with a lot of star accents. Dad was a mermand. Titania and Poe."

Even if Biskoto was the only snake Amphi knew, she was still happy to hear that she was her favorite snake. At least assuming Amphi hadn't seen other types of snakes... If you know what I mean.
"I generally make it my policy to stay out of trouble," Thanatos replied with a grin; to say that he kept a low profile would be an overstatement. It was more like he did not have a profile at all, "Although I'm glad that you are not in denial about always getting into trouble..." He paused, raising an eyebrow, "Oh? And what do you intend on doing with this newly acquired piece of information?"

Amphi hadn't seen other snakes Biskoto, even the elusive TROUSER SNAKE.
Biskoto will forever be her baby, and only snake friend.
"That's a good policy!" Amphi nodded, squeezing his arm. Trouble didn't need to follow everyone, and the more he unintentionally reassured her, the better she felt. If anything, she hoped Thana never changed. "I am trying to get in less trouble, since I am close to graduating." She nodded before biting her lip. Small fangs indenting her skin.
"I thought I might go find them. If they are still alive. It looks like my mom was a reaper and my dad was the merman. So I have a bit of reaper in me." She nodded, "But other than that, there is not much else I can do. They left me with my sisters....maybe they didn't want to be found." She looked over to Thana, the question slipping before she thought about it. "Do you see me finding them in the future?"

It made sense to him that Amphi would look for her parents, even if it wasn't something he would do if he was in her shoes.
"That's too specific a question," He replied with a chuckle, "I do not have an answer to that, but if you really want to find them and keep looking, I'll say that you have a pretty good chance of seeing them again, one day. I suppose if there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate to ask."
Biskoto nodded in agreement; whatever Amphi wanted to do, she was in full support! She gently nuzzled the ghoul on her cheek, "Perhapsss they were victimssss of circumssssssstancesss, and didn't have a choice but to leave you with your sssisssssterssss? You'll only know if you assssk them directly."
That brought up another question, "And what would to say to them, after you've found them?"
