Trying to familiarize herself with the placement of the buildings on campus, Sulmanon had been flying over the campus, making a mental map of the place, but her map only included the dorms and the classrooms so far. If she wanted anything more, though, she'd probably have to find someone who could tell her what areas she was allowed in and which ones she wasn't, preferably someone who could show her some neat places within the grounds as well. Remembering Xiu's comment about socializing, Sulmanon decided to swoop down and talk to the first being she met. Just as she made that decision, she spotted a ghoul below. Here goes nothing, she thought and landed next to the ghoul. "Umm... Hello. I'm Sulmanon and I was wondering if you knew the campus fairly well. I'm really new here and I'm still trying to figure out the layout of this place..."Raja Yeah, that was not awkward at all. XD

Simply... was doing exactly what she always did. Wasting her time in the most 'productive' manner she could think of. hanging upside down on a bench. She'd found it, the perfect place to explore. There was one problem.
It was a dark, scary, wonderful, fun cave. With a LEDGE. A ledge that was too high for certain short fox ghouls to climb up. Which meant it was all wrong and a terrible, mean, spiteful cave. She'd already worn down her claws a bit trying to scramble up it and never even gotten close. Nope, it was useless. She had to find another way. Maybe drag a rock in to use as a-
Or have the answer decide to visit her. She continued to stare up at the girl, smiling a bit as she landed, but didn't really move. Her feet were propped over the headrest of the bench and her hair was trailing along the ground. Really, it was a wonder she hadn't gone woozy from all the blood rushing to her head. Regardless, she had an answer. "Kinda, but there are better things than the campus around!" Who cared where the infirmary was when she could drag someone along on an adventure. "But the dorms are that way." And because her sense of direction was worse upside down, she might have pointed more than a bit off. "The school is that way~" Wrong again. "And the forest with fun places is that way!" She at least got that one right, because that one mattered.
"Oh right! And I'm Simply! Nice to meet you!" With that she hooked her feet enough to allow her to sit up before twisting so she was sitting a bit more normal on the bench, though now she was leaning possibly a bit too eagerly toward Sulmanon. Having just flown over the school dorms and classrooms, Sulmanon had to suppress raising an eyebrow when the upside down ghoul pointed to where she believed the dorms and the school were. Maybe this wasn't the best person to ask, she wondered. Then the ghoul mentioned something about a fun forest. She had heard that there was a forest they could explore, but, since the ghoul had even misplaced the dorms, Sulmanon started to doubt her sense of direction, that was until she decided to give her benefit of the doubt due to her being upside down. When the ghoul introduced herself and flipped on the bench, leaning towards Sulmanon as she did so, she unconsciously took a step back. The ghoul did seem eager for something, something that Sulmanon was both apprehensive and curious about. At the question of her wings, Sulmanon nodded to her wings unfurling them as she did so. "Yes, I've been flying most of my life and never really had any trouble." Why had the conversation shifted from geography to her wings? What was this ghoul up to? Raja For the moment, Simply has Sulmanon confused, apprehensive, and curious. All she has to do at this point is mention the word "cave" and Sulmanon's apprehension will be squashed by her curiosity and love of caves. XD

The fact that she might have come off as more than a bit directionally challenged didn't seem to even dawn on Simply. Rather, she seemed to miss the lift of the ghoul's eyebrow entirely as she beamed up at her. Yes, this was a BRILLIANT idea.
At least if she said so.
"Perfect!" She grinned even wider as she finally leaned back a bit on the bench, kicking her legs playfully forward and backwards on the bench as she looked up at the heavens. "You'd be just perfect for this..." And then her gaze fell back down, the words she'd said aloud mainly to herself seemingly forgotten.
"You like adventures, Sulmanon?" She inquired, resting her chin on the palm of her hand as her tail flicked to and fro happily. "Because I know a fun place we could go, and you'd be just the help I need to make it more fun." If she had a hand to catch she'd definitely be able to make it up that ledge, and well... ledges shouldn't be a problem for a dragon with wings.
Yes, this would be perfect. "You do wanna have some fun, right?" She asked again, standing finally and moving to reach out for the dragon's wrist. "I'll show you it'll be the best!" She added, obviously intending to try and drag the ghoul off in the direction of the woods. Assuming she didn't shake her off of course.Ariaalina The book of Simply 101 says dragging people to 'fun places' is utterly acceptable.

"Just perfect for what?" Sulmanon asked, now fully convinced that this ghoul was going to force her to do something. Just in case, she flared her wings to prepare for liftoff, just in case Simply tried to grab her. She was not one to be forced into anything. At the mention of adventures, Sulmanon's guard dropped a little. What did she mean by adventures? Was that what she was perfect for? Sulmanon could not decide whether or not it was truly safe to stay here with the other ghoul seeming to covet her wings. "What kind of place?" she asked, cautiously, not quite trusting the ghoul. When the ghoul reached out for her wrist, Sulmanon looked towards where Simply was looking towards: the forest. Deciding that it would not be a bad idea to have a guide, even one that possibly had no sense of direction, through the forest, that she had already decided to explore later, would be a good idea, so she let Simply grab her wrist to lead her off. Raja You means she's going to try to drag a dragon? XD (say it out loud if you don't get the ironic bit.)

Perhaps the all to cheery knowing look should have warned Sulmanon off. Just maybe. "For ledges." She replied, finding that sufficient. The dragon would totally know what she had in mind, right? She happily flicked her tail back and forth imagining it. Her new friend could fly up, hold out a hand down, then they'd both get to see just how deep that cave went. It would be a splendid adventure.
And the dragon would totally have learned her way around a cave on campus. That was what she wanted, right?
"Weeeeelll... it's deep, dark, and a little bit damp after a rain." She replied, still dragging her along with. "But it's a neat cave, but I found a spot I can't get up." She added, probably helping to let the whole concept dawn on Sulmanon. "So I figure if you can fly up here we can help each other and then find out what's in there?" She added, glancing over her shoulder and grinning widely. "It'll be a LOT of fun just wait. I've gone down once or twice, but well... there's no good climbing spot." Silence for a moment. "I looked." She added, a bit of a pout in her tone.
Then once more, still marching along toward the woods. "But now you can help with that!" Yes, Sulmanon's wings were the exact reason she had been selected for cave romping duty.

Of course my wings are handy for ledges, Sulmanon thought, but where? Ledges could be anywhere. Just where did this ghoul want to take her? Just as she was about to ask, Simply started to describe where they were going. Deep, dark, and damp after rain? That could describe any number of places... though it might be describing a cave. Sulmanon thought, hoping to herself that that would be the case. Then Simply said the magic word. As soon as Simply mentioned that they were going to a cave, all semblance of resistance faded and was replaced by eagerness. She absolutely loved caves! If it meant exploring a cave, she did not mind lifting her guide over a few ledges. "Why didn't you say we were going to a cave?" Sulmanon asked, now no longer being dragged behind Simply, but rather walking beside her. Then, getting a good look at Simply, she commented "If it's not too far, I'd be happy to fly you up ledges, if it means I get to see a nearby cave!" "Not too far" was the operative phrase there Sulmanon's humanoid form was much smaller than her natural form and had less strength. She did not think that she'd be able to carry Simply far unless she removed her pin, but then she might have the issue of being too big for the cave. That was something that would need to be addressed when they got to it. Raja Mover over abracadabra and please, cave is the new magic word. XD

Why hadn't she said they were going to a cave? She looked as if she was musing over it a moment, then merely smiled, grinning at Sulmanon. "Secrets are secrets for surprises!" She replied happily, rather pleased that her friend seems, just maybe, as excited as she was about the prospect of exploration and the like. "It's not tooo far!" She replied at that point, still happily pulling the ghoul along.
And come on, she didn't weigh that much! ...especially in her smaller form. Not that the dragon knew about that, yet. But if push came to shove, things would work out. Simply would make sure of that. "It's actually not that deep int he woods, bit it's well hidden with moss at the entrance." She added as they did managed to start passing among the trunks of the woods. They had, of course, gone in the direction of the totally fine woods. Simply didn't always break the rules, just when she didn't mean to. Or the rules heavily impeded on her idea of fun.
"But I can get extra small if it's a problem, werefoxes can be really small and light, not like dragons?" She added, glancing at the ghoul with a grin again. "So it'll be great! I wonder how deep it goes, right? Maybe there's treasure too, and if we're lucky a beasty to fight and play hero against!" Much of that seemed unlikely, seeing as it was a cave on campus, but they could pretend and have some fun in the process.
And then, as they made it a biiiit further in, rounded a few more trees, and possibly went in a circle once, she suddenly hopped forward a bit, landing on a moss covered stone and waving her arms. "Found it! Found i- Woop!" With the last part it was more of a holler as the moss wasn't the best thing to stand on and she'd slipped to crash down into the hole leading down underground into what was, without a doubt, a cave.
"I'm ok!" Was added after a moment as the monster ghoul worked to right herself up where she'd fallen. At least she wasn't too fragile?Ariaalina If you want, I'll make up some random dice mechanics for crossing areas of the cave while we roam? Like rolling 1d4 to hop across some rocks or something. XD No damage, just silliness.
