Thetis was heading home for the night. It was no easy journey for the small cat but he couldn't simply pass off his duties, not unless it was raining, snowing or some sort of crisis involving the sky following was inevitable. Sometimes he was certain if he went outside the sky was going to fall on top of him so he just stayed home but eventually he would crawl out from his insanity, even if it was a couple days later. Sometimes he wondered if anyone even notice if he was gone in the first place.
Curly fur twitched under the street light, feeling a powerful chaotic signature nearby. He tried to hurry away from it, hoping he wouldn't bump into anyone in the process. He was spooked at this point though, his head looking back in fear and left to right with hesitation. It wasn't safe to move, was it? What if they were out there?! THEY COULD BE WATCHING HIM RIGHT NOW, WAITING FOR HIM TO TAKE ONE MORE STEP. He froze, curling down on the pavement as his green eyes peered around with apprehension.

"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty." The voice drifted, followed by the clack of heels as Wolframite noticed the signature but the small form. Cats were deceptive. They had a energy signature, but it was sometimes hard to pinpoint if it was a senshi or not. Either way, he went after any signature of Order, and was happy to see a cat. Cats made senshi and they were great prizes if you could take their head and show off that you got rid of one of the little buggers from the world.
"All alone?" He asked, looking around. Usually cats were with someone, and he didn't want to get jumped out of the blue.

The curly black fur on the small guardian cat raised with unease as he heard a voice address him. Was he alone? Oh, how he wished he wasn't. He would do just about anything for love. His head lowered slightly and his tail thumped lightly against the ground as his silver pads pushed against the pavement and raised his body back up. Hiding was of no use now!
"Are you?" He said, his body casually stepping away from the General.

He had to laugh at that. Nothing like a lunatic, but of a teenager who heard a funny joke. Genuine laughter. "Yeah. Why would I need backup with a cat?" He said, looking at the ball of fluff. If he dashed, he'd have to make sure to race after it and kick it so it didn't run again.
"I wouldn't run if I were you. I'm very fast, and I've been known to appear out of nowhere." Teleportation was a great type of magic that even he could approve of.
"Not everyday a cat walks around with no one around. I would think the senshi would leash you to their side considering how valuable you are." He took one step closer. "Always made me wonder how something that looks so cute and ordinary could cause us so much trouble. A cat making senshi. It's still weird to think about."

It was a bit of a relief to know that Wolframite was alone, although it didn't really bode well for him. His little black form curled up on the pavement below him and he started up at Wolframite with his mighty green eyes. He could pounce, he could do it. No, he couldn't do it. His little black body shaked and he couldn't seem to move from his spot.
"Nothing bad has to happen. If you think I'm cute then you could just pet me and I could purr and we could have a good night together. What do you think?"
He was honest. He wanted this. Nothing said Wolframite couldn't love him, right?
"I haven't made any senshi." He said very, very meekly. Unlike a certain fat cat, Thetis kind of avoided those sorts of situations. If they weren't about to die at that very second, why awaken them and put them into further danger? Seriously, unless there was no hope of escaping with no chance that a piano was going to fall from the sky and solve all their problems then why do it? Everything in this city practically put White Moon Senshi at the top of a KOS List and Thetis wasn't okay with adding more to the list to be hunted. He would protect those that had already been thrown into this war but that was it!
"I don't want them to get hurt so they should not not be awakened. It is better that way. Definitely better that way. I can't imagine a better way."
He was definitely rambling as he mumbled.

"You don't make senshi?" He was ...actually really surprised by this. All cats he knew had a firm stance on making as much trouble as they could, which often made him want to rip off their limbs and make their fur into some sorta hat. Maybe a pair of mittens for Billy to wear on cold nights.
But this cat did not want to put other people in danger, which was the most sensible thing he had heard a cat say. "That is very smart of you." He said, in no way meaning mean about that statement. "I don't enjoy having to kill the little rookies that run around because some cat decided they should fight. It's completely unlike the negaverse. We get to pick. At least I decide that I want to fight. I have had to fight so many senshi who decide to run around and kill youma and yet hate the fact they are on the street. Too many of them want to be neutral or not involved at all. It makes for a great bit of mess."
He knelt down, staying where he was. If the cat came close, then it was up to the cat. "I wish more of your kind adopted your mindset not to put these kids in harm's way."

Thetis wanted everyone to love him and to please everyone so when someone kneeled down to a level he could reach it was almost like being pulled by a magnet. Gingerly his small paws began to walk toward the Negaverse officer with a hint of caution. He would walk, then stop, back up and then move forward again. Indecisive and apprehension slowed him but he need for love and his submission pushed him forward. He was reasonable enough. He knew this young man could probably be the end of him but this young man also had fingers within reach!
"Truly?" Was he truly smart? Bright green eyes plead with Wolframite for the compliment to be true. It could be argued just how smart he really was when he was willingly approaching a Negaverse officer but that was just logistics! Chaos pulsed off the starseed of Wolframite and it called out to Thetis like a beacon, sensing its corrupt pull as he walked.
"I wish the same. The best way to protect them is to not bring them into this world."
It was the best way to do his duty as a guardian cat and protect the senshi!

He waited, trying to see if the little guy would come close. When he was able, he tried petting him as softly as he could. He could never have cats, which was a shame considering how soft and adorable they were, but there were reasons.
He covered his noise, feeling the slight tinge of a sneeze starting to form. "You should tell the other cats to do the same. Our guardian cats never have to bother with making senshi. They just help out." Though he saw a lot less these days. He wondered what ever happened to Cain.
"Do you always go around this place on your own? I would think that the senshi would keep you all very close and guarded. It's not safe with a star like that." He said, pointing to his forehead.

Thetis definitely purred at the soft touch Wolframite was offering him, rubbing his face against the young man's hand with a dire need for attention. Clearly no one in the White Moon kingdom was giving this guardian cat the proper love and attention he required, nor keeping him locked up where people couldn't get him.
"No one would listen. It is our duty and all," he said, lowering his head a bit until it looked like he was trying to get something off his head with his paws. The forehead star, it was all its fault! If he could wipe it off then everything would be right with the world, right? He would be safe, right? Things would be just swell, right? Maybe if he tried hard enough. Unfortunately, no matter how hard he moved his paws against his head, all he did was mess up his fur.
"There are cats over there?" He asked, his paws pressing into the ground again finally. He clearly hadn't known that!

He continued to pet the cat, wondering how easily it would be to press his heel down upon it's skull, or to use his chain to twist it in half. Better yet, breaking it's limbs and throwing it in the river. The possibilities were endless.
He turned his hand to scratch under it's chin. "Well, we do have senshi after all, though our cats do not make senshi. They are well taken care of as a member of our team and protected. I have never seen a Negaverse cat be treated poorly. Most are very pampered." Was he trying to appeal to the cat and let it spread the word around of the amazing alternative that was the Negaverse - hell yeah he was!
"I knew one who belonged to my superior. She pampered him to no ends." Cain had been a great cat, and he missed him dearly. He missed Nealite too.
His face twisted before he sneezed and he covered his nose with the back of his hand. Ugh. He could feel himself already getting congested.

Fingers of war warmed the top of Thetis' head with mouthwatering headstrokes. As a proper gentlemen, and out of sheer fear the pets would stop if he suddenly started drooling like a Godforsaken dog, Thetis kept his mouth shut and swallowed his drool. Oh, oh how he enjoyed this. It was much better than the alternative. So much better.
The mention of Negaverse senshi brought a tingle to Thetis' fur, an acknowledged fear and regret forming in his face. Sailor Psyche, his precious senshi, had once been part of the Negaverse. She had left though, and he wondered if that said bad things about the situation. Or did the fact she joined them in the first place say good things? Thetis didn't know! He did like the idea of being pampered though.
He could leave Sailor Psyche, he could find someone to love him or many someones to love him at the Negaverse? He would be loved and pampered? He wouldn't have to be sad and ignored for another cat? *********. ********* had stolen everything he hoped for away! What was he going to do now? Sailor Psyche didn't need two guardian cats. Was he to carry on without her even though his whole being called out to her? She was his but to her he was nothing, or worse: He was Sailor Iris'.
"That sounds nice," he said with a purr, his tiny kitty heart filled with so many regrets.

He could feel his eyes tearing up, and the itching in the back of his throat was starting. Allergies. It was only getting worse the longer he stayed close to the cat, but he was making progress he felt.
"It is nice. I'm sure I could introduce you to a few of the cats we have in our organization. I'm a general after all." His hand went still as he paused, holding back a sneeze, and then continuing to pet him as he knelt. He wasn't sure about sitting fully though, as even a guardian cat was capable of hiding senshi, and he didn't want to be ambushed. The cat was cute, but he wasn't stupid enough to be pulled in by a cute cat to not be paranoid at all times about a possible attack.
"If you don't make senshi and don't like the idea of converting them, then why do you stay with them? Just because you are told? You might as well just be ay other cat." He turned his hand to scratch his back. "You're far more important than just any cat." He paused, turned his head away, and sneezed. He could already feel his nose getting stuffy.

If Thetis had known he was causing such distress to General Wolframite he would have been so distraught over it. Instead, he basked in the glory that was love and attention, listening intently to General Wolframite explain to him the glory that was being a Negaverse cat. It all sounded nice, he had to admit. His life as an Order Guardian cat hadn't been playing out exactly how he had hoped, and it was easy to tempt him toward the other side when it involved the love and attention he was clearly lacking here.
"I..." he said, his body sinking. He didn't feel important. In fact, he felt like if he didn't exist it wouldn't be a hair off of anyone's back, let alone Sailor Psyche's. She had *********, and there was no room in her heart for him. However, his heart was filled with thoughts of her. He stayed around, lingered and hoped he could just protect her, even if from afar. She would never love him, and he hated ********* for that. Just the same though, he felt as if it had been his fault. He should have been there, and it was that regret that kept him there.
"I... can't... I'm suppose to protect her," he sounded distraught and confused, stuck between two worlds unable to choose between desire and duty.

He rose his arm up to cover his nose, sneezing again before looking down at the cat. "Protect her? Who are you protecting that can't protect themselves?" He reached out, resuming his petting despite his watering eye.

Thetis' green eyes looked up at the General as he sneezed, tilting his head curiously. Was he sick? He should be home in bed if he was sick! His look expressed a bit of concern, wondering if the one petting him was going to be all right. He kept sneezing and sniffling and it looked like his eye was starting to water? He rubbed his head against the hand with all his effort before he fell against the ground, pushing his head into his paws.
"I'm her guardian, I'm suppose to be there! But... she doesn't want me," he sniffled, shifting uneasily with his emotions and rolled across the pavement.
