After, Eve couldn't count how many times, her dojo/training hall was destroyed by a very overzealous fight between a few of her squad members. Overzealous? more like it these members wanted to live up to the squads name even within the squad. Well, Eve had finally had it with her squads lack of control in damaging property while only training, property she would have to pay to fix every time it was destroyed. Those squad members still have nightmares from that day as Eve lost her temper good on them. Eveleen consulted the 4th division construction crew and the 12th division to come up with a field that was vast with a mix of environments for training on. Eventually they found a way and to this day beneath the barracks her training field is, sound proofed so others could relax in peace and of all things very energy resistant so only rocks and other minor things get destroyed. This was less of a headache on Eve, however she did rebuild her building for training above ground and it has been made available for squad members who mentor other members of the squad. So the fights here are rather brutal in nature, but this is the carnage battalion so if there isn't blood being spilt to them it isn't worth doing.

Having heard the news of the trouble erupting around the soul society Eve decided to call majority of her squad to the training field in order to begin preparing for when the order to move out was given. Her squad was usually the first wave of assault. She split her squad up into three teams and in shifts they endure the training she sets them to in order to be battle ready. She even took steps to ensure majority of her squad was present. She slept herself in shifts so that she would rotate training with each team. She may be an old woman but the youngins in her squad would always be in awe at the sight of her wooping a** with only her katana, it took a few more to push her into Shiki. She disliked the waiting game for orders but what could she do?

Akane appeared infront of Eve. "Why don't you train with someone on the same level as you?" Akane asked her as she gazed at the surrounding area. She was jealous of Eves training area. Hers was giant and had different environments. It felt like it was the real deal. "I even brought my squad along with me so we can have a join training exercise." She said as her squad members appeared behind her. Since the 6th squad was the guard squad, they had to be the strongest inorder to deal with other shinigami and protecting seritei and the spirt king.

Eve would just be dispatching around ten of her own squad members when she felt the mass of spirit pressure occure and before her stood the 6th squad captain surrounded by a good number of her squad members. Already the attitude of this young captain had, has Eve irritated and the words from her mouth already grated the old woman's buttons. "That bored.... child?" was Eve's response to Akane's suggestion, but rather than remind her of the extra patrols the 6th squad should be doing Eve decided to humor her. "If you can keep up then how about some of my members have a mock battle against yours," She grins "that ought to keep things interesting, and don't be upset if some of your members receive wounds." Eve then would Shunpo off toward one of the rocky areas of her vast training field. She liked rocky areas even though some might think the skills she possess would fit better on flat ground but she knew how to make it work. She would singnal a few of her members that where fresh from rest and better able to fight. "Mock battle against Squad 6," She shouted and was able to project her voice across the entire field. Her squad members all grinned and scrambled to take up positions to await the signal to begin.

"There are reasons that the youngins stay home while the experienced ones go out into battle," Eve said with a grin, her usual Irish accent rather thick, as she drew her zanpakuto Dorīmingubatafurai from its sheath and took up a defensive stance with her legs but raising the sword to use as a signal, choosing not to release Shikai for now. In her mind one fights in stages as strength is gaged, fighting all out at the start was simply a waist of energy. Dorīmingubatafurai was a rather simple katana in sealed from though the blade had a slight gold tent to it and a chain hanging off the handle. "Ready when you are youngin."

Eve heard the comment as brought her sword down in a very fast sweep motion blowing away the dust created by the child's sheath at the same time indicating the start of the mock war. "Well....Brat lets see what you can do" Then without so much as a stray thought Eve held her left hand off to the side aiming at some rocks just behind but above the girl whispered "Hadu 4 Byakuri" and with that a shot of white lightning shot from Eve's hand toward the rocks in an attempt to cause a rock slide toward the girl. If they landed she'd be crushed but in truth Eve didn't expect her first attack to really work.

All of the squad members from both squads look towards the two captains battling. "Looks like we have an audience, shall we give them a show?" She asked as she ran towards Eve. When she got in range with her Zanpakuto, she slashed at Eve while the katana was in her right hand. Akane focused all of her reiatsu into the tip of her blade. This caused the reiatsu to make the blade an inch longer. Underneath her slash, was her left hand. "33. Sōkatsui." She said as a wave of blue energy flew out of her hand towards Eve.

As Eve had expected her attack failed. Two captains facing of would attract attention from those around them but Eve's squad would return to the fight within moments. Their captain had trained them to not allow distractions in battle or one might lose their life. Eve kept her attention on the spit of a captain in front of her as the girl ran toward her. Eve then would jump just shy of the girl getting in range sending her body over the squad 6 captain but a little off to the left. She would twist at the start of her jump to where her body ended up at the height of the jump horizontal with the ground and her right side would bring her sword around to attempt to cleave the squad 6 captain on the right side of her collar bone and possibly have the added bonus of giving a shallow slash her back just below the neck. This act though to some would seem graceful but as Eve wore her clothing rather lazily it lost it's luster of showmanship. Eve would finish her rolling jump landing facing the direction the girl now was and say taking a defensive stance waiting for the attack to possibly come had her attack been dodge or blocked "Giving a show is for those who lack confidence in their abilities."

After doing it 30 times, she shunnpoed back to where she started. (sorry for the crappy post, I'm spending time with the family))

Eve already was very annoyed with the child that sought to challenge her and so her though she be old she saw the girl's movements at the start. With a swift swing she knocked aside the girl's slash at her side and then proceeds to block every one of the oncoming thirty keeping up with the girl's speed. Just as this child was about to shunpo Eve aimed her sword with the back side to close line her square on the neck. Should this succeed Eve would flip her sword over the sharp edge against the child's neck and merely speak the word "Dead."

Eve lowered her sword and began to put it away and as she did she said this, "If this had been a real battle you would already be dead. I'm old because I know how to stay alive." When her katana clicked into it's sheath all of her squad lowered their weapons and began to put them away. The battle was over in their minds. Eve would turn and then walk down the hill, her back to the squad six captain. She descended the hill as she was a little famished and wanted a banana split.

She sheathed her Zanpakuto as well. "Old people don't know how to have a lil fun!." Akane said, playing it off as she did not just lose the mock battle. She put her left arm in the air and her Squad members all appeared behind her, sheathing there zanpakutos at the same time. "I have learned a lot from you, thank you." She said as he bowed at Eve. She then returned to the normal standing posture and turned around. As she turned around, her squad members disappeared. She waved at Eve and in a red flash, she was gone.
