Abilities:He has a small amount of precognition and telepathy. He can transform into a tiger at will, and when he is in his neko form his hearing, strength, and speed are increased beyond that of most creatures. He also has control over fire, and has recently learned he can control wind, though it is still very weak control
Personality: he is quiet and shy, but when he makes a friend he is loyal to a fault. he hates to see people upset, and he hates to fight, though he will defend himself and those around him.
Background: Lost his parents when he was really young and was found and raised by a human family. He had always been alone because he could never find anyone who would accept him for what he was. The only people that would have anything to do with him were the humans that raised him. He was occasionally allowed to venture off to town, but he always had to wear weird hats to hide his ears and baggy cloths to hide his tail. The human village that he lived near was never very accepting of other races. Then one day, while wandering the woods alone, he was overcome with a wave of disorientation and found himself in a strange forest that looks slightly familiar, but he is never able to find his way out.

Other: He tends to venture off on his own. you will commonly find him sitting on a branch near the top of a tree, staring at the sky.

Scarlet was wondering around what he had originally thought was the forest of his home. But the longer he searched, the more he realized that it was no where near his home. It has been a few weeks since he has last seen another living being that he could talk to. All he ever found were small critters that did not appear to appreciate his presence in the forest. Despite everything, he continued to walk around in his human form, no longer concerned about coming across anything that would attack him. He could hear a river nearby, but he decided to ignore it since he had already filled his water for the day, walking close to it, but not directly up to it. He could hear and smell the many creatures that had wondered into this forest, none catching his interest at this time.

He heard it. A sound of a struggling animal nearby. He did not expect to see or hear an animal struggling like it was. He located the direction the sound was coming from and started walking in that direction. As he walked, he heard some other noises that he could not identify, then he heard the struggling change. He came around a tree and saw something he did not expect to see. A fox seemed to have gotten a rabbit and trap out of the tree and was trying to open the trap to release the rabbit. All he could do was stare at the fox that seemed to be more than just a fox.

He saw the fox free the rabbit. Then it seemed to have finally realized he was near. He revealed himself to the fox, keeping a significant distance so it did not feel threatened. He crouched down and extended his hand away from his body, his palm towards the fox, trying to show he is friendly. He had already caught the scent of the fox and could track it down if he needed to, but he would rather not scare the poor thing.

He smiled down at her as she sniffed his hand. Her eyes seemed to show a greater intelligence than that of normal forest animals. There was something unique about this one, but he could not place it. He knew she was not just an forest animal, but something more. He spoke to her softly, "You are smarter than the average fox it seems." He lowered himself to sit on the ground rather than crouching, he placed his sheathed sword to the side. "Do you understand what i am saying," he asked, hoping that he has finally found another being here who he could communicate with.

"Don't worry about the sword, I have not needed it since i got to this strange forest," he told her as she glanced at the weapon. She had acknowledge that she was smart and understood what he said, that means it would be easier to talk to her. He scratched her head as he thought of what to ask of her next. Her scent was more earthy, and smelled like she has been here for a while. If she has been here a while, does that mean she has not found a way out? Does this mean that there is no way out? "Do you mind if i ask, have you been here a long time? And if you don't mind, might i ask what you are?" He did not know if she would answer him every time he asked a question, nor did he know if she could speak in a manner that he could understand.
