Remarque had taken a break from perusing the darker streets of Destiny City in favor of meandering back to the park. There were many reasons for this—partly because he was tired and wasn't sure he was looking for a fight. Partly because he hadn't seen any wraiths.
Partly because he couldn't stand such a lack of social interaction. The wraiths had been taking up a lot of his time these days and the closest thing he could get to a break was chatting up a White Mirror senshi.
Thankfully, the park always had an abundance of them, and while it took a while for him to trudge around long enough to find one, it was well worth the effort. He half expected some new senshi he'd never met—in which case he wasn't sure he was really up for the argument about how the Dark Mirror Senshi was actually the best option for any senshi. It was a pleasant relief when he not only recognized the senshi he'd felt on his radar, but he also acknowledged her as one of the few likable senshi.
"Serpentarius," he greeted when he was close enough that he wouldn’t have to yell out to her. "Enjoying your evening so far or have you been up to trouble?"
…Which was probably the closest thing he'd come to directly asking if she'd noticed the wraiths acting up.

Serpentarius had been on her way back to her dorm when she heard someone greet her. Turning slowly, a smile lights up her face as she saw Remarque just a few inches from her. Without really a thought, she moves over to him only to stop in front of him "I was just actually heading in for the evening, though I think that is changing." pushing her brown curls from her face, she crossed her arms.
"Its good to see you, and you know your a very hard person to come by?"
Glancing around only for a brief moment, she turns her green eyes back to Remarque "How are you? Its been awhile since we last talked." she needed to talk to him, but she also wanted to know he was well first.

"Oh, I try not to be too hard to come by. Were you looking for him? I have to apologize, I've been a bit busy, so perhaps I have been a bit scarce."
Tending to things in the Dark Mirror Court and hunting wraiths was tedious and his social life—both powered and unpowered—had been lacking of late. "It has been some time," Remarque agreed, "And I apologize for keeping you up any later than you'd intended. I admit, this evening was much more boring before I found you. I have to say, I'm relieved to see a friendly face. I suppose I've been doing well. Busy, but well. I hope you've been doing the same?"

Serpentarius couldn't help but smile at Remarque "Well I am glad I can make your evening even better." she chuckles as she moves over to him "Life been interesting so to say, been thinking alot. Met with an old Blood Moon court member, and I don't know. It just felt different." she shrugs before she push her curls from her face "And you didn't keep me up, I keep myself up."
She pauses before she looks down, after a moment she spoke softly "I think I'm on the wrong side Remarque..."

Remarque was content to beat around the bush and discuss just about anything that came to mind, though the last sentence that slipped from Serpentarius' lips sent a shiver down his side. He didn't know if it was just wishful thinking or if she had meant what he wanted her to mean…
He looked at her, seriously, for a few seconds before he could think of something to say. "You would not be the first to come to such a conclusion. Did something happen?" he asked, sounding convincingly concerned. "You're all right, aren't you?"

Serpentarius nods as she push her curls from her face "Yes I'm fine, I promise you nothing has happen to me." other then fighting another corrupted and realizing she was tired of this. She glance up at him for a brief moment "I'm honestly lost, and its getting harder for me to actually want to power up Remarque. I don't know what to do, but I needed to talk to someone." she laughs a little as she turns slightly "So I instantly thought of you. Last we spoke, I found I could instantly trust you. Even now...I still trust you alot more then anyone else." she pauses before she turns back to him.
"I've also spoken with the general king, and he said I would need to prove myself." she glance around, almost expecting someone to appear "How would I have to prove myself if I were to ask you to make me a member of your court?" she was very serious in the way she spoke.
She been thinking about this for awhile, and now she was needing answers far beyond what she asked before.

Trust was a hard thing to build up, and Remarque, even for as arrogant as he was, was honored to hear that he had earned hers. It would help greatly, in the long run. He had hope for her more than anyone else that she could be saved.
"Prove yourself? This isn't a test," he said, shifting positions. "We wouldn't put you on trial or demand anything from you that you didn't want to give. I suppose if you needed to prove anything," he thought for a second and then shook his head. "It would be that you were earnest. And, quite frankly, I don't see why you would lie to me about anything."
He had been polite thus far, but he considered himself far from a man you'd want to make enemies of.
"The Dark Mirror Court isn't about making you prove that you’ve earned salvation. It's about opening doors for you. Helping you be where you want to be, and helping you find a cause you want to fight for. That's all we ask."

Serpentarius nods as she looks down at her entwined fingers, quiet for a moment as she thought over his words. Only after a couple of minutes of silence does she look up at him "Just one question, there is no going back is there? I mean, I join the court, it becomes my family?" she thought about this, those she would be giving up.
Her question was short, as it was the last thing she needed to know. She heard rumors of people switching with the Negaverse to their side then back. So she was wondering if it were possible, not that she actually wanted it.
For her, this choice was final.
She just had to make sure she could stay and not be brought back to the white moon side.

The answer did not come easily, and Remarque took his time to mull it over. He didn't know what answer she wanted, but he assumed that she was simply reluctant to abandon her personal life. It was a big step—and a hard one, he assumed, when you knew what you had to give up.
"I suppose it depends on what you mean by 'going back'," he admitted, reluctant to say no. He knew of no Dark Mirror Senshi that had ever left their ranks, but then again: who would want to? "But yes. If you join the Court, we will take care of you. Like family. There are some sacrifices that must be made," the he assumed she was aware of them to at least some degree given that she was asking. "But we will do everything in our power to accommodate you and help you settle in. We look after our own. Serpentarius give a small nod as she looks back down to the ground once more. She seem very lost in her own world as she thought over everything. She wouldn't be able to go back, it meant no longer being able to see her cousin, or even being allowed to team up with those she trusted. She wince only briefly as she chews on her bottom lip. This was a very tough choice, and she was thankful that Remarque wasn't trying to push her.
Looking back up to him, she chuckles "It would be nice, to feel at home again. Losing the Blood Moon Court has been hard for me. I don't feel like I should even be on this side anymore. My alliance isn't here, even though I have many I trust." she doesn't say more on the matter as she folds her hands behind her back "Would you like to walk and talk? Unless you have somewhere to be? Its nice to have your company, I feel peace and able to think more clearly."
Not to mention, she just needed a few more minutes to decide what she wanted to do.Kyuseisha no Hikari Don't feel bad hun, real life ate me alive. I'm trying to run from it at the moment.

Remarque did not know much of the Blood Moon Court; he knew only that he had a bad run in with Sirius and that it was the group the original group of Dark Mirror Senshi had belonged to. But if it would win Serpentarius over to the Court through nostalgia, he wasn't going to add his two cents on the matter. "I can't think of anywhere I'm needed. I'd love to take a walk." He nodded—a gesture for her to lead. He'd walk whatever path she thought was most comfortable. "I admit, I haven't found too many in the White Moon who are ready to part from their ideals. Everyone seems to be acting of their own agendas. I can't imagine how you all function when no one seems to have the same goals."Pixie Krysta Ordreg I hope RL gets easier and everything calms down ;;

Serpentarius could only laugh at his last comment "Sad thing is, I think your right. At least with the Blood Moon Court we worked as a team, yes how we did things might have been bad, but we got things done." she frowns as she shakes her head some, brown curls masking her eyes for a moment "We were a team, the rest of them. I don't know what they are. I only know maybe a few senshi outside who were apart of the Blood Moon Court." that made her frown as she thought about it "How are we suppose to work as a team, if we barely work together now?" she turns her eyes towards Remarque.
Pausing in her step, she nods "So your right, it seems like each of us is acting in our own agendas. With honestly no real purpose as far as I am concerned. I mean, fighting for a princess who no longer around? I don't see the point." to her, if she wasn't here, there was a reason behind it.
"It just...I don't know." she looks down as she rubs her bracer "We were all born here for a reason, but why is it to fight? Honestly, I would rather not. But if I have to, just to have peace...I will." she looks up at Remarque "This is why I like you Remarque. You have given me a chance, no fighting. You see beyond the fact I am a senshi." this was why she wanted to join the Dark Mirror Court.
To her, it would be home.
To her, she have that family again that she wanted to protect.Kyuseisha no Hikari I hope so as well, I am sick of family drama.

Remarque offered her a smile; Serpentarius was among the few White Moon Senshi that did not declare the Dark Mirror Court to be some sort of misguided abomination. They refused to see the Court for what it was—an alternative. They weren't necessarily enemies, and they certainly didn't have to fight.
But there were so few who were willing to find the middle ground. So few willing to believe that maybe there was more to this war than just their side.
But Serpentarius was wiser than the others, and Remarque found her far more preferable than the average senshi. "Well, I suppose I can say the same for you, Serpentarius. I think there's a reason we were all born here, and I don’t necessarily think it is to fight. There's no denying that fighting is a huge part of what we do, but I'm sure there's a bigger role for us. We just have to get everyone on the same playing field. It would be easier if we could all just talk things out, but," he shrugged. "People are passionate. And I don't blame them. But it's only holding us all back. We can't make progress if we're always fighting. We need more people to realize that there isn't only one path in all of this. Of course, some paths are better than others…"
Like the Dark Mirror Court. New, still growing—but better.
They didn't have the evil of the Negaverse, or the disorganization of the White Moon. They weren't on their own, like the Knights.
They had drawbacks, but they had strength and benefits unlike any other group.
Remarque had no doubt that they would succeed them all.

Serpentarius stops once again before she looks down "You asked me the first time we met, what I wanted. I know what I want, I just have to figure out how to get it. My biggest problem is, now I have someone in my life important to me." she pauses as she looks up at Remarque "I don't want to lose him, or the chance of something I might have with him. But I want to join your court..." she sighs as she wraps her arms around her waist "Do you know of any way, that I won't forget him?" it was one thing that was keeping her from asking him to take him into the folds of his Court.
She needed something, that could stop her from possibility stop her from forgetting a man she was falling in love him. Kyuseisha no Hikari I am so so so sorry hun, rl drama killed my muse for awhile. OTL

Remarque turned to her and blinked. A man who was important to her was the only thing holding her back? She just didn't want to forget? Well, hell, that was easy enough.
"That isn't a price you have to pay when you join our Court. Your appearance changes. He might not recognize you. You might have to start over with him—but you'll remember him. Every last detail." Leto and Requiem had once been white moon senshi, and they hadn't forgotten anything, right? They'd just gotten a new face and a new name.
"It would be a little work," he admitted, "But you won't change, beyond how people see you. If you've charmed him before, you'll be able to do it again. Especially since you'll remember all the little things. I'm sure you'd be able to win him over again in no time, regardless of what face you're wearing."Pixie Krysta Ordreg It's okay! I hope RL drama has calmed down and you are doing well!
