Victoria was armed with the book "List of 100 Funniest Jokes", a book that she had recently found abandoned in the fireplace of the common room in the Reaper Dorms. She hadn't gotten the opportunity to try it out yet, but the first joke was pretty clever, and she had decided to keep it; you never know when a joke might come in handy!
As she floated along, she spotted a pink haired boil ahead of her, and decided to approach him; he looked like someone who might enjoy a good joke or two. Giving a little curtsy before hovering in front of him, she smiled, "Hello sir! Would you like to hear a joke?"

Charlie was on his way back to the demon dorms. There could be many reasons he was originally out and about but the demon had probably forgotten his original purpose and gotten quite distracted.
Speaking of distractions , a ghoul was curtsying in front of him. The pink haired demon almost walked right in to her but stopped right in time. His foot stayed up though in half step. He was half frowning half smiling, a facial expression that possibly only Charlie could pull off.
"A joke?" He mused, "What kind of a joke?" His foot stayed up in that half step pose. He'd forgotten about it.

"A joke from this book, good sir," Victoria held the said book up for the boil to see before clearing her throat, and lowering the book in order to read out of it better, "What does a clock do when it had eaten, but is still hungry?"

Charlie looked thoughtful for a moment.
"It... enjoys tea and goes on a diet." Diets were funny. Who would want to go on those? Not Charlie.

Victoria giggled.
"Good answer, but nope," She looked up at him, paused for effect, and then revealed the answer, "It goes back four seconds." She then stared at the demon, waiting for him to laugh. Or giggle. Something to show that he found it as funny as she did.

Charlies face looked thoughtful.
"So the moral of the story is that you shouldn't set your clock back four seconds..? Because it will eat you?" The demon was even more confused.

Victoria frowned, opening her mouth before shutting it again. Her expression started to mirror that of Charlie's.
"Do jokes even have morals?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head as she closed the book, and tucked it under her arm. With a smile, she curtsied again, realizing that she had not yet introduced herself... How rude of her! Matron would be displeased that her manners had gone downhill since her enrollment, "My name is Victoria Marie Bloodworth, but you may address me as Victoria. How should I address you, sir?"
