So I noticed that there are some folks who have lots of questions regarding Puyat U, and so this thread tries to answer some few questions asked, like:
Does University Puyat run on real time? Since there's a Day and Night setting? Is it a real time RP?
No, University Puyat is NOT a real time RP. I don't expect people to post on a specific time of the day like daytime for Day students and nighttime for Night students, however there are certain set dates in a month that serve as one week in RP time (for example, the first week of classes will be on the 4th-7th). The Day and Night is merely for the setting in the class, like for example should you choose Night, your classes will always be in the nighttime setting. (You can post in the day and the RP is still in the night setting)
What are the Day and Night student/teacher factions for exactly?
The Factions serve as your preferences, if you want to be a student of the night or student of the day. There's really not much going on there except for the availability of classes (Night students take Night classes, and vice versa; but there are some classes offered to both Night and Day students, a co-ed of sorts) and the setting, and possibly for future events like the Puyaters Cup where the two factions will have a friendly competition to win the coveted Cup.
Can a Puyat member apply for teachership?
Yes
Can a Day Student take up a Night class, and vice-versa?
Yes, if and only if the teacher opens it to both factions. If not, then you can only choose a class according to your faction.
Is there a plotline/story arc for University Puyat?
Students and Teachers of diverse races and worlds come together in one university to interact, learn and hone their skills and powers. It's more of a go with the flow, winging-it, come as you are RP. Need I say more?
What is the post format for the Puyat U RP?
It's in your discretion whether you want to make a pretty post or not, as long as you mention what faction you are in and what classes you're taking, then it's all good.
What if I'm the type of person that changes her avi a lot? How about my character will it change too?
I guess it's inevitable for us to change our avis every now and then (we all get bored too haha). Well for me the changes won't matter as long as your initial chosen race and powers remain the same. The change of looks doesn't really matter, you can change it as much as you want. (You could have a shapeshifter power if that's the case)
