Mt. Ferros Intermediate Rank, Levels 1 - 20 Home to Rock, Ground, and Fire Types Forming a border around the west and south sides of Armonia is a long mountain range known as Mt. Ferros. In truth, Mt. Ferros is a dormant volcano, known for its fertile red soil. It's also a primary source of ore for Armonia. Although it's been many years since the last eruption, that doesn't mean the inside of the volcano is any less dangerous -- Mt. Ferros is full of long, intricate caverns, with a temperature so hot that only Fire, Rock, and Ground Pokemon can navigate it without help. Other Pokemon must obtain aVial of Waterto withstand the heat for more than a few minutes. In an effort to encourage treasure hunters to bring in items for the Gracidea Trading Association, Kasimira has a special promotion going on at her shop, offering Vials of Water for free.

Boink was looking forward to adding to his collection! Err, no, he was excited to go on an adventure and get things for his guild, of course. But... if he happened to find something shiny to keep for himself, then so be it!
He wasn't going to complain, and neither would they, right?

Right away he found two sticks! That was so much more exciting than getting some kind of battle!
"Why did I come here again? There's no space to fly!" He grumbled a bit to himself and tried to stay in the air. "Not to mention the heat...it's a good thing I brought some water..."
Hopefully something would make this trip worth while.

As the Pidgey rounded a corner, he spotted a stick on the ground. Why there was a stick in these tunnels he didn't know, but who's complaining? Sticks were useful.

Boink heard another pokemon in the area, frowning at the pidgey. "You don't look like a fire or rock type!" he oinked, "are you an exploring as well?" As long as he didn't try to rob him, they wouldn't have a problem.
Hopefully.
He looked in the next room, peering around for something good.

There was a vial of water! That was better than nothing
It looked like there was someone else gathering sticks as well!
"Oh, hey there. I came in because I was curious of what was down here. I didn't realize it would be so hot...and cramped..." He fluffed his feathers up a bit at the thought.

As the duo entered the next cavern, something dark flew out of the shadows straight at them! Scout seemed to be right in the revealed Zubat's path.

Unluckily for the tiny bird pokemon, he didn't see the Zubat headed on a collision course until it was too late. Before Scout could even react, they slammed into each other and fell to the ground.
As the Zubat began to recover, Scout groaned and rubbed his head with his wing. "Watch where you're flying, featherless!"

"That zubat came out of no where!" huffed Boink. "Are you alright? You should have clobbered him! Stick with me. I'll help you out if you don't take anything that I want!"
They could both get more than enough from a dungeon if they worked together, right?
"That might be a good idea, if we keep running into more accidents." Scout seemed to shuffle back and forth. "I'm not the best fighter. I'm better at aerial support and scoping things out, you know?"
The pidgey then started to move down the next tunnel.

Luckily for them, there weren't any attacking pokemon in the next section of tunnel. Unluckily for them, it seemed to be pretty deserted in general. Hopefully that didn't mean something big was just ahead!
